This was my first experience at Shampoo Avenue B. The salon was clean and professional, the service was fast, and I got exactly what I wanted! I’ve been nervous to try a new salon for a haircut, but Chloe did such an amazing job! And, as a bonus perk, they have a teacher discount which really helped me too!

Have been coming here for years! After my original stylist left I was so sad but they gave me 30% off of two sessions to find someone new which was awesome. Tony is great and is better at knowing what I want than me!

Tony did SUCH a great job with my balayage. He really took my vision and just made it better. He didn’t let me go home until I was in LOVE with my hair, which I 100% am. Thank you Tony - you are best!!!

I’ve been going to Shampoo Avenue B for months now and I love it! From the kind and welcoming staff to the warm atmosphere and skilled hairdressers (highly recommend Tony he’s amazing) I couldn’t ask for a better salon experience! The end results are always exactly what I envision and I always walk away feeling so confident :)

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Shampoo Ave Salon! I called ahead to confirm that I could come in as a walk-in, and they assured me it was fine. When I arrived, my stylist, Chloé, noticed my extensions, and we even chatted about it. But then she styled only the top layer of my hair, leaving the inside completely wet!!!! I cannot believe I walked out of the salon looking like that! When I called to complain, the receptionist offered to have another stylist fix it. I appreciated the offer, but the second stylist didn't even give me the waves I originally wanted! Instead, the receptionist had the audacity to say my complaint was due to my thick hair. Why wasn’t I informed of this beforehand? When I finally spoke with the owner, he implied that my hair issues might have been my fault for not mentioning the extensions and for coming in as a walk-in on short notice. Are you kidding me? It’s absolutely unacceptable to blame the customer when I was explicitly told I could walk in without an appointment! I expected much better service! Never returning back.

I had such an amazing experience here. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming. My stylist was fantastic, she really listened to what I wanted and nailed it. I love my haircut, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The whole team was super friendly, and the vibe of the place made me feel right at home. Definitely coming back. I Highly recommend this salon.

I recently visited Shampoo Avenue B- West Village location for balayage and extensions, both done by the owner Joey, and I couldn't be happier! Joey is incredibly talented and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. The balayage looks natural and beautifully blended, while the extensions add amazing volume and length. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly. And I love their products that they use. Highly recommend this salon for anyone looking to elevate their hair game!

My appointment started 50 minutes late, but to make up for it they gave me a complimentary hair mask, and once my stylist started she moved very quickly but still did a great job. I think it was just an unfortunate situation but they handled it pretty well

Started going here for in between highlight appointments for a gloss treatment when I can’t always fly to my main stylist and have loved every colorist/stylist and hairdresser I’ve had an appointment with here! This was such a great referral from a friend of mine who’s been going here for a bit.

I had an amazing experience at Shampoo Avenue B West Village! It was my first time getting a haircut at this salon and I recommend going to Shane for a great haircut and amazing customer service. Shane advised me on how to better care for my hair and made me feel super comfortable with getting my hair cut here for the first time. Everyone at the salon was very nice and it was such a good experience, it’s now my go-to salon for all future haircuts!

I really wanted a fresh start and had never colored my hair before so was a little nervous. Edgar went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, cared for, and confident in the cut and color. Edgar is truly an artist and extremely talented. So happy with my hair, I feel like a new person <3 So happy to have found my place after 10 years in New York!

I've been going to the East village location for the last 7 years. I've seen a number of stylists based on my inconsistent schedule & have always been happy with my results. This time I booked at the new West Village location & its was beautiful, clean & everything I loved about the East village location was here too! So happy to call this place my hair salon & even more excited to have more locations to choose from!

I went to shampoo Avenue B for the first time and I absolutely loved it!! It’s an oribe salon so all the products used are oribe, my stylist was very knowledgeable on the products and once I showed her a few inspo pics for my haircut she knew exactly what I wanted and executed perfectly! Will 100% be back.

I’ve been to both locations (EV and WV) and received the best service at both! Their salons are clean and well kept. Stylists are trustworthy, I’ve had the best haircuts and blowouts that last for days!

very nice and clean, but my stylist cut my hair much shorter than I wanted. Her first snip was very short! usually stylists will show you how much they are cutting off with the first cut before they start
