Shana has a way of making you feel alive, confident and gorgeous. I always leave feeling like a million dollars. She rocks out my natural hair causing others to think that I have chemicals in my hair (not), and she does not have you there all day, whatever time is listed by the service you're getting, is exactly the length of time you will be there, maybe even in less time. Shana, you did it again! See you soon!

My first time ever coming to Shana was back in March and she has been nothing but welcoming, awesome, funny, and DOPE. Even when I talk to her about crazy topics she’s open to listening and even give great advise. Shana is not one to discriminate or be against who someone loves. If anything, she promotes love, happiness and plant base products! So stop playing with my girl name and go get your hair laid.

Several reviews will mention this experience is “therapeutic”, BEWARE! I used to like going here! I tolerate quite a bit, I tolerated the homophobia and overall prudence but the more you share the more judgement you receive. It felt like church. I used to be the type of person who would just sit on my phone and get my hair done quietly. This hairdresser got me to open up only to throw things back in my face. This hairdresser probed me, saying she felt like something was off. Well the moment I shared why I wasn’t feeling so hot, she ended up weaponizing that information against me and questioning me to the point that I was in tears. She then tells me I shouldn’t be crying and that because I’m crying I severely need therapy. Instead of trying to calm down someone, offer compassion, with tears streaming down my face she just kept projecting her own life experiences onto mine, looking at me like I was weird, and kept insisting I need therapy. “I go to therapy and it helped me” like ok? Like she wouldn’t stop suggesting it, disguising it as genuine concern. I left thinking I was the problem. When I shared my experience with my friends and family they were quick to tell me not to spend my money where people treat you like that. After all, I’m a client. Not friend, not family.

Hair is extremely impressive. Excellent bounce with curls & light swing when its straight. I love this hair soo much. No shedding & Doesn’t need high heat for straightening. Cant wait to try curly hair next!
