I've tried many places of massage before I finally found Shangri-La! The services I received there are wonderful and effective in relieving the pain and muscle tightness. The staff are friendly and welcoming! I recommend Shangri-La to everyone!

First lii say . My back was in pain from very overworked tired muscles . I own and operate Tacoma Hardwood Floor co .David gave me a very good deep tissue back massage . I told him my low back .and middle back muscles . He worked on those muscles . And did some leg hip stretches. . I highly recommend David If you want someone that will work on your sore back

This place is incredible. The therapists are knowledgeable and thorough. I’ve tried a lot of massage places in the area, and this is by the best. I left feeling heavenly. The hot stones and hot pack are such a nice touch and the place is super clean.

Paid for a 30 minute massage with hot stones and oil. The massage therapist (don't know her name because she never said) worked over the sheet the majority of the time and used oil for less than 5 minutes. Her touch was very light and more akin to a backrub than a massage. Her actions all seemed perfunctory and rushed. It wasn't a relaxing experience. On the pro side, the place seemed very clean and the space was nicely set up.

I'm a soccer player and a tennis player, and both these activities take a toll. They have a special way of working on a body here at Shangri-La Foot Spa. They've been very helpful to me.

Jack was amazing. This was my first time coming here and I will definitely be back. It felt as if the massage was longer than an hour because I was so relaxed and had such an amazing massage. I definitely needed it and he definitely deserved his double tip. Thank you Jack. I was a bit surprised to have 2 ppl doing the foot massage but either way the one that started and finished with me (Jack) was really good and earned my business. I will definitely be back even tho I live 30 minutes away. Thank you guys

Amazing experience! I had a really bad pinched nerve in my back and got a deep tissue massage. I walked out the door feeling 75% better then the next day I woke up and no pain whatsoever. There’s a language barrier and I actually asked for 30 minutes and ended up with 60. That being said I was more than happy to pay. Maybe the Universe had other plans. lol 😂 I don’t understand the one star reviews and this is my second time!

I brought my family here. There's a new masseuse! These two visits here feel they serve me very well, let me feel very comfortable, very relaxed! Very quiet and beautiful environment!

I’m not sure about these bad reviews but I live in Ballard and I came here for a massage last year and have been raving about it to my wife for so long but have been too lazy to make the drive again for a massage. Yesterday I had a terrible experience at a massage and to make up for it I decided I’d come here instead and wow, these guys are an absolute steal!! $45 body and foot massage (30 mins each), great amount of pressure and I almost fell asleep halfway through because of how relaxed I was. Both times were walk in and not too many other clients. Thoroughly pleased and will definitely be back!!

Do not waste your money or time here, there are way better options very near by. I went here one day to get a massage, was lead to a room, where I undressed only to have the girl come tell me that I can’t have a massage anymore because someone else already made an appointment. Would have been nice to tell me that before I got undressed and was laying naked on a table in this place. The next time, I made sure to call ahead and make an appointment. I went over what time I would be there, what kind of massage I wanted, what gender masseuse I wanted and for how long. When I got there, they didn’t have any of my info written down, they couldn’t understand what I wanted and lead me to the wrong room before I finally had to literally point to the sign and underline with my hands what I wanted. Finally I am led to a room and undress and lay on the table. A minute later, a masseuse of the wrong gender comes in and I was surprised/shocked. Here I am laying on a table with only a towel covering me and somebody I did not ask to be in the room with me was. Finally the right gender masseuse comes in and I specify what kind of massage I wanted. She ignored me and I had to remind her during the massage. The hot stones they used weren’t hot at all and they didn’t even give me the full time. Also, they did not work out a single knot in my back, not one. This place doesn’t give massages, they give back rubs. I will never give this place another dime if my money. I really believe in massages and think they can help people, so if you want one, do not go to this place. Also, so many problems could be avoided here if they just had someone that spoke English and didn’t have to shove an iPad in my face only to have it not properly translate what I say to them. It blows my mind that a business can think they can serve their customers without being able to talk with them.

This place is an absolute gem the staff are incredibly friendly, and it is extremely clean and spotless。Jack was great. I felt so relaxed after the service. It’s worth having. I will come back again.

1 star reviews are on point: The linens are dirty, with a lot of hairs, and when u request to have them changed the person who attends is rude, start screaming at you how "no one should complain about that". I just left and didn't get any service. Completely unprofessional. So, unless you know what you are getting into, never go there for a first time-clean-regular massage.

I and my husband recently visited shangri-la spa twice, and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with everything about this place. From the moment I walked in。 Both times, I was have YanYan as my masseuse, and I have to say that she is simply amazing. Her massage techniques are spot-on, and she is incredibly skilled at working out even the most stubborn knots and tension points. I left each session feeling like a completely new person, with a renewed sense of energy and relaxation. Very good, I highly recommend this store.

My first experience was excellent, unfortunately my second visit was not at all. My massage was super inconsistent on each side and shorted 10 minutes with lots of sighing from the therapist . The 3 employeess there chatted with each other the majority of the time and mine actually belched twice during the service! Not very relaxing whatsoever! Very disappointing.

Didn’t honor appointment time (booked a day prior) or offer anything for the inconvenience (after planning our day around this and waiting 10min it’s while there to find out they weren’t prepared), other than to wait for forty minutes for them to get themselves organized. We wanted a simple massage with hot stone. If you’re considering this place, I wouldn’t bother. There are plenty more places close by with comparable prices and far better service.

Made an appointment yesterday for 4pm today for two people. When my husband and I got in, we were directed to the room by one of the staff. 10 Minutes into our appointment time, a staff member let me know they couldn’t do my massage as there were no women therapists available. A female therapist came in and asked me to wait 40 minutes (which turned into 25) for her boss to come back. She couldn’t do my massage as a male walk-in client had come at the last minute. It’s a shame because we live across the road and I’d have liked it to frequent this place but this was such a bad experience I am glad to never go back.

It was amazing experience! My husband and I went to the Spa today, I had foot and shoulder massage, my husband had full body massage, both services were about one hour long. This is my second time and my husband’s first time visit. It was such a relaxing and refreshing feeling for me although I practice Yoga and Taiji everyday. My husband looked so recharged and literally one inch taller😀 after his body massage done. He was very happy and thankful for Yan’s professional skills and services. At the end, I was surprised the very reasonable and inexpensive charge! of course, I put down a big tip for our gratitude. We will definitely come back for such good service.

PHENOMENAL!!!! I’ve received many massages but Yan is hands down the best masseuse I’ve ever had. Usually a masseuse will offer “full body” but Yan truly will go from head to toe using her knowledge of pressure points and reflexology that will have you walking out feeling brand new. I suffer from herniated, ruptured, and slipped disks in my c and L spine- I walked out feeling 99% pain free. Highly recommend!

Shangri-La Spa was an phenomenal experience! The facilities were absolutely AMAZING, I left feeling completely relaxed and centered. The staff was courteous and professional. I found the ability to add on services at a reasonable rate to enhance my over all experience. If you can the Back-Walking and Hot stone Massages are second to none!

We went to this place hoping to have a good experience but I left very disappointed after realising that I layed on the same bed sheets after the previous customer. I have politely raised that to the lady that gave me the message (claiming she was the boss) and her response was that it s no problem that sheets werent changed, that they can not do that all the time in between appointments(obviously they had no time since she had back to back appointments). She was very rude, screaming and telling me that I keep her from working and she just asked me to pay. I have asked how she wants to solve this problem of sheets not being changed but she seemed she didnt care.
