I have had the same person cutting my hair for YEARS before we relocated to GC, and I was nervous to see someone new. Ann gave me one of the best haircuts of my life, no exaggeration. I went to a wedding in California the week after, and got so many compliments. I don't have a complicated style, but with thin/fine hair so many cuts rely on blowdrying to look good. I don't know what kind of magic Ann worked, but even without heat styling, this cut is amazing. I will be back.

Yeesh! This place is a one and done for me. Arrived for my appointment, was told that she was not going to wash my hair but just spray it down to give me a trim. I asked what was included with the $30 I was quoted on the phone, then she decided to wash my hair. ok gee, thanks! After the wash I stand and am told that I need to stand in the middle of the salon to have my hair trimmed because all of the chairs are being used and my hair is long....???? WTH. Then she finally had me sit down to finish the trim and told me she doesn't have time to fully dry my hair. So I paid her $30...she didn't want to wash or dry my hair....could have gone to Supercuts and gotten better service for half the cost! Plus every person (stylists and customers) in there minus the stylist on the back wall with the cat posters, looked miserable. No smiling, no chatting, ugh. Most uncomfortable and awkward salon experience in my life. No thanks.

Just had my first appointment with Jackie at Shapella, and I'm very pleased. She was able to do what I asked for and I enjoyed chatting with her. This is also a much better value in price and gas and time.

There was a mistake and I came to the wrong place by accident, I didn’t know I was at the wrong place at first and they were very kind and offered me a brush, offered to wash my hair anyways, and they were very kind and patient with me until I realized I was at the wrong place and then they let me wait inside and offered me water until my ride could pick me up
