My longtime stylist closed during covid, so I took a friend’s recommendation for a local salon to have my hair colored on a Saturday afternoon. I’m not sure if the universe just needed a laugh or if I’m making bad life choices, but things went bad, very bad. My hair color ended up somewhere between Donald Trump and Carrot Top. I’m pretty sure the shade of orange that sat on my head was considered a war crime by the Geneva Convention. It was a shade not seen in nature, but probably seen glowing in a nuclear power plant. I was truly afraid small children would see my hair and cry. Or worse, adults would think I was gearing up for some St. patrick’s day contest. I was despondent and questioning a lot of life choices, including my relationship with the friend who recommended the salon. I resigned myself to invest in scarves and wait until Monday to call around for someone to fix it. A different friend managed to get me in touch with Holly that Saturday evening. She responded to my text immediately. I think the shear horror of the pictures I sent caused a visceral reaction, and she told me she would meet me at 10am the next day. Her day off! She told me not to worry and she could work on it. I finished a bottle of wine, prayed to the Patron Saint of poor choices, and went to bed. So Sunday morning, I met my hero, the mother Theresa of hair coloring, the Tom Brady of color correcting, Holly. She not only fixed it, but it is the prettiest hair color I have ever had. She knew just what to do and was so kind and caring about my hair color. My only hope was that my hair wouldn’t fall out and that I could go to work on Monday without being sent to HR for a drug screening. And she exceeded every hope I had. The color is beautiful and exactly what I had shown to the first salon. She saved me! What a wonderful person! So run, don’t walk to Holly. She is a miracle worker! God bless!

Holly is the best! I had a color correction and was able to grow out my natural hair color 4-5 inches before needing another appointment. After a partial balayage, my hair looks natural and sun kissed. I love it!
