I love taking my kids here. They have fun things for them to do. The staff is super friendly. The pricing is at a good price. And every time my kids go there, they come out, looking amazing, keep up the good work.We will be coming back

I looked online and they had plenty of openings. We were coming from 1.5 hours away. I wasn’t sure what time we’d be there so I didn’t book a time since there were so many slots open. We got there and they said they didn’t have any open slots. Their stylists weren’t coming in until later. I asked if they were short staffed. They said no. So, they just didn’t have anyone working. They had one person cutting hair. That’s it. Pretty disappointing. The Sharkey’s we used in Colorado was always staffed.

Hannah was so amazing and gentle with our sweet baby boys first haircut! The whole staff was so helpful making the environment fun and safe for our baby. We were so beyond happy with our experience and will absolutely be coming back for future haircuts!!

Let me start by saying that this place always gives a great cut and the staff is always friendly. However, they have a total disregard for their customers time. Just had to walk out after waiting almost a half hour past my appointment time. This isn’t the first issue I have had. I have had them cancel my appointment on me less than a half hour before the start (I was on my way there). I had them push back my appointments multiple times. It seems they have no regard for people’s time. I will be going else where in the future and I suggest you do to. (Edit) They were almost 30 minutes behind. Not 10 minutes. I did show up 20 minutes early and after waiting for almost 30 minutes past my scheduled time for the first of my two appointments (father and son cut) we decided to leave. This is not the first incident I have had with this establishment. I have turned down multiple free haircuts (their attempt at making things right). I have limited time with my son and it can be challenging to schedule a time so I can take him. I don’t appreciate this establishment essentially calling me a liar or minimizing the inconvenience they caused.

Sapphire did both of my boys cuts (4 and 6 years old). She was very patient with both and did an amazing job, especially when they're both scared of the clippers. We'll be going back.

There’s no place like this in Albuquerque or New Mexico in general. You can tell the stylists really care about the haircuts they’re giving and they try to make it as fun as possible. There’s video games, fun cars for the younger kids to sit in, manicures for the girls, and so much more. I’m really impressed with how fun the environment is and how detail oriented the staff are. I would definitely recommend this salon for any kids cuts, no matter the age.

They just denied my 3 year old son, who was actually excited about his haircut, because we were 10 minutes late. We live in Edgewood, so we don't know when there's traffic in Albuquerque. We called, hoping the they could accept us, and told us if we were even 5 minutes late they would reschedule us. We begged them not to. We sped there, and they made my wife cry. Didn't care one bit

This was our first time here! Everything was pleasant from the moment we booked the haircuts to leaving with suckers and balloons for both my kiddos. The owner, as well as the ladies cutting my kids hair were kind and professional. They did a great job. It’s a fun experience overall. Not only did my daughter get a haircut, she left with a mani. She also picked out a ring which was the highlight of her visit. Highly recommend this place and we will absolutely be coming back!

Hannah is amazing! She gave my kiddo a girls haircut, complete with wash and blow dry, and painted her nails. My kid’s hair looks great and she had so much fun. She can’t wait to go back to Hannah next time!

I have been coming here for four year and i have to say the new girl Sapphire was so amazing! She made my lil man's hair look so good thank you so much, she lined his fade up so nicely. Hannah did so well with my kiddos, both haircuts came out great and both of my girls feel and look fantastic! My youngest is very shy and was nervous and she made her feel very comfortable. Definitely recommend booking with Hannah when coming here!

The stylist was asking the kid if they want to go to “urgent care” on the “wah-bulence.” I asked her if there was another stylist, since I didn’t like how she was talking to the kids.. she flipped out, and refused service. Stating how qualified she is. I went to another business that was told they’ve been told the same things but about 15 people. Their cars are used up and it’s dirty.

We really wanted to love this place. The place itself was great, it was clean and my daughter loved the decor. Jessica was her stylist and she seemed really rushed even though there were no other customers there. My daughter has long, thick hair and she cut it in about 15 minutes which I thought was quick. Her hands were very shaky when she painted my daughter’s nails and that was rushed as well. When we got home I noticed how uneven it was and the layers weren’t blended at all, they were very choppy. I am not happy with how her hair looks, every day I go in with scissors and fix spots. We definitely will not be going back.

Can you hire front desk employees that know how to do customer scheduling because the one today didn’t know how to do her job. She said we needed an appointment so I said okay Id like to make one and its like she didnt want to. Telling me when they close (which was in 2hours) like okay? Then saying there is a stylist free in 30min but she wouldnt put us down for an appointment omg it was just back and forth about the salon hours and workers availability and she literally wouldnt let me make an appointment lol I was so annoyed, we just decided to leave and go somewhere else

First of all, I want to say that my daughter and I were very excited to go here for the first time. When we walked in it was dead silent and awkward, my first instinct was to turn around and leave. I should have done that but didn't want to take away the fun experience we thought she would have. Jessica came over to us after a few minutes and said "Hi who is this for?" with the least amount of excitement and enthusiasm. She then told me that we could sit anywhere and left for 5 minutes. Upon coming back she told my daughter to take out her braid but then started taking it out for her and was very rude with her interaction and speaking to us and does not know how to communicate with children in a cheerful, friendly manner even though she is a child hairdresser. She washed my daughter's hair but when my daughter sat on the hair cutting chair a chunk of her hair was still dry. At this point since I was close to Jessica as I watched her brush my daughter's hair with a heavy hand, I smelled a lot of cigarette smoke coming off of her. So she had a smoke break literally right before she started helping my daughter when she left us for 5 minutes. The smell was disgusting and my daughter later told me the lady smelled like cigarettes and smelled bad. I wanted to run at that point but my daughter seemed to be having fun playing games on the x-box so I stayed. As Jessica was cutting my kid's hair, I noticed Jessica's choice of clothing. She was wearing slides that were supposed to be white in color. They were so filthy though that were almost entirely black. She was also wearing old and faded sweatpants and a large, baggy, stained t-shirt. Not saying I am a snob in any way but in a business in a nice area of town, you should definitely have yourself put together and also have your hair and makeup done a little, which she did not. She looked like she literally rolled out of bed and came to work. When she was done, she asked my daughter if she wanted her nails done and I yelled out "NO!" and they looked at me in surprise because I yelled but I could not stand the thought of being there another minute. Not only that, the wash, trim and blowdry was $50 with a tip! Way too expensive for the service we got. Never, ever going back because Jessica was so unprofessional and disgusting and made an otherwise exciting experience, not great at all. If you have employees working at a children's only salon, I would expect all employees to be overly cheerful and enthusiastic, to wear fun clothes or Disney/cartoon shirts etc. and to have fun kids music playing the entire time. Also they should know how to speak with kids and be happy, not grumpy and rude and definitely not smoke before taking clients. When giving out the balloons and lollipops, they should act excited and say "Hey! Do you want to pick out your favorite flavor of lollipop and and an awesome balloon!? Not, "Oh you can get a lollipop and a balloon if you want. Go get one, they are right there." Everything about the customer service was terrible.
