Tonia J. Was absolutely amazing with my 17 month old! We are definitely so pleased with how his haircut turned out! I would highly recommend her to anyone! We will definitely be returning!

We’ve have been coming to Sharkeys since my son was 4. Before I found out about Sharkeys, every place we tried was just not what was asked for. Especially for kids. Sharkeys is always nice, professional, and friendly. Mrs. Cynthia always gets my baby looking right no matter what the cut is. We really appreciate her and the staff! Gonna be sad when he ages out and starts going to a barber.

Ms. Cynthia is wonderful ! My little girl loved this place for her first haircut . We will definitely be back! She did a great job on her hair and the salon was clean and decorated so cute for kids.

These people were so great! Cynthia and Tonya were so full of life. It was my 16 month olds first haircut and they kept him entertained. They went above and beyond giving us anything fun. From lollipops, tattoos to balloons. I left so happy that they were so generous and did a great job cutting my boys hair. They even helped with getting my boys in the car. Thank you! Keep being amazing!

We absolutely love Ms. Tonia! We started going here after my son was diagnosed with autism. Ms. Tonia is the only one I let cut my kids hair. She has such a calming demeanor and is kind and patient with my children. Can not say enough good things about her! Would not recommend Ms. Angel. She butchered my son's cut when Ms. Tonia wasn't available and most recently she was pretty rude when I called to make an appt.

We have gone twice, when they cut our service short because, they don’t have the “time”. We’ve paid for a wash, cut and dry. They left us with half a blow dry because of time. We had an appointment a month in advance… they then took a walk in and left us half dry…

Please note, my experience is based on 4 visits to Sharkey's for my twin boys, so my experience is not an outlier. Honestly, shame on me for continuing to go after the first bad experience, but they are located close to my house so I've opted for convenience. I now dread getting my boys' haircut because it is so stressful. Pretty much everything Sharkey's promotes is inaccurate. Clean environment: absolutely not; A perfect wash, cut and style: 50/50 on the quality of the haircuts, mostly due to the stylist's poor communication skills; Fun cars: maybe when they were new and not caked in hair; cartoons: nope- one of 2 scenarios: we either have to request cartoons, which the hairstylist reluctantly turns on across the room (the tv closest to us is always inexplicabley broken) or all of the tv's are all blaring different shows at the same time even though we are the only ones in the salon; But by far the worst quality of Sharkey's are the hairstylists and we have had several: Myra, Angel, and Cynthia. Curt, unsmiling, impatient and generally the most UNFRIENDLY people that I would ever want to be around as an adult, now imagine how they treat children? I cannot believe Sharkey's has the gall to charge what they charge for their services. This last visit convinced me never again! Luckily my boys are now old enough to go to Wonder/Supercuts and if it's terrible at least I only paid half of what Sharkey's charged. But let's be honest, it cannot get worse than Sharkey's.

We had the best experience with my 18m old little boy. He usually kicks and screams during haircuts and I didn’t expect much, but Ms. Tanya is a miracle worker and he didn’t make a peep! His cut looks great and we’ll definitely be back!!

Brought my almost 3 year old for his first cut to even his wild hair out. Ty was great, kept him engaged the entire time and was so patient with him moving around the little car the entire time. The certificate keepsake is a nice touch as well. The cut came out great and we will definitely be going back when it's time to trim up again.

I arrived with my 2 children without an appointment on a Sunday, I walked in and she rudely asked me what I wanted, I said if she could cut my 2 children's hair to which she answered only 1 and no to the other... I just turned around. and I said let's go...very rude for a service...

I just want to start off my saying that Sharkey’s is the BEST place to take your kids to get their hair cut. They are so patient, polite, and friendly. And they also have it were the dad or mom can get a haircut with the child. To me that is so nice because sometimes the child is scared. Ty and Tonia are absolutely the BEST!!!!!! This will be the place that I go for now on.

My daughter doesn't like to sit still for long, so I really appreciate that they have options to keep her attention while her hair is being done. All of the stylists are also very patient. Big tips every time! :)

My son loved this place and asked to go back again. He was able to choose the seat he was to get his haircut. He was thrilled with the style and the atmosphere was very kid friendly. Would recommend!

Terrible experience will not be back. My toddlers bangs are cut 4 different lengths. The girl cut his cowlick and now the whole back of his head is sticking straight up. He’s had many haircuts sits still the whole time is absolutely great for haircuts. First and last time at Sharkeys.

They should have a better waiting room if they are going to take 30 minutes after the appointment time. I get that kids can be unpredictable with haircuts and that may put them behind schedule, but there was no acknowledgment. The haircut was good.

Tonia was so great with my 3 littles. She took her time and made my little girl feel like a princess. It really shows that she loves being around the kids and she is very patient with them and makes sure that they have a good time. The kids and I were very happy with all 3 cuts. I highly recommend Tonia. She was great!!

Ty is the stylist who cut my son's hair. I showed her a picture of the cut he wanted, and she confidently assured me that she could do it. He told me it was the best cut he's ever had. When he saw the results, he lit up! I've been looking for a good place to do my son's hair the way we like it and have been to a few barber shops but never fully satisfied. I took my daughter here for a trim, and Ty happened to have an opening for my son. This place is awesome for kids! My son played video games the whole time, and my daughter loved playing in the car while getting cut. They do a certification with a picture and piece of hair for first-time cuts. They're so sweet with the kids. We had a great experience here. They'll be my permanent spot. I never do reviews, but this place was memorable and deserves to be flooded with praise.

WOW! Best kids salon! Tonia worked magic with my sons cowlick and Ty worked her magic on another sons curls! They were so sweet and the salon is as cute as can be! Even my boys knew they looked good when we left. Balloons, candy and shark tattoo made their day! You have to check them out!

We’ve gone here for all of my now three year olds haircuts. He’s terrified and I always have to hold him and he would still cry the whole, so they haircuts were never perfect, but I couldn’t fault the stylists. UNTIL RECENTLY, I have found the GO TO STYLIST, MRS. TONIA!! She was so patient and kind she not only was able to make him calm down and feel safe, but she also made me feel better. This woman has a way with children and people in general that is remarkable. My son not only calmed down for her and allowed her to cut his hair, HE LET HER STYLE IT, which is unheard of with this kid! This has been the best haircut and the best experience! My son also has a lot of cowlicks and she knew just what to do to tame them! If you’re going to sharkey’s ask for Mrs. Tonia!!
