Truly the best haircut experience we’ve had for our two young boys yet. Maria was so kind and respectful to the kids by letting them know what she was doing before she did it. She was understanding about our little one’s reservations and let the brothers sit together. She took her time to do a good job and I did not feel rushed at all. The facility was clean. Also not expected but greatly appreciated- we popped a balloon outside after we had already left and they noticed and immediately brought a new one out for us. Above and beyond! Thank you. Not to mention the boys look great!!

We went to Sharkey’s after having a bad experience at another salon a few months ago. The stylist who cut my son’s hair was extremely kind, patient, and understanding. The haircut is even and looks fantastic. She even styled my daughter’s hair who did not get a haircut. We will definitely be back! Thank you Sharkey’s!

I just decided to stop into this place after noticing it next to my chiropractor’s office in the same strip mall area next to Winn-Dixie. I called the shop before showing up with my special-needs son to see if they could offer a haircut. The lady on the phone said yes in broken English so we decided to drive over.. Upon showing up to the business the haircut prices on Google do not reflect the prices in the “actual salon”. It’s $31 for a kids haircut which is outrageously expensive considering adult haircuts at Great Clips or other places are only $20. The extra $11 is for the plastic car shaped chairs I suppose. Aka “the experience”. After walking in the hairstylist, a Hispanic Speaking lady took one look at my son with Down Syndrome and in very broken English, that was hard to understand, said, I cannot cut his hair. We don’t have anybody that is trained in cutting children with special needs hair. Last I checked, it doesn’t take a genius to cut a person‘s hair let alone somebody with special needs. So with that, we decided to leave the store and find another place that can cut my son‘s hair, that is more special needs/autistic friendly. The moral of the review if you have a special needs child do not bring them here for a haircut!

We just went and got my son’s hair cut and my kid went nuclear. This was his first haircut and he was super scared. Maria was amazing she stayed clam, got his hair cut well, despite his crazy meltdown, and he came out looking very cute. She was so sweet and kept calm and we appreciate her calmness while my son was having a hard time. Will definitely be back.

They were so sweet and patient with my squirming 2 year old boy. They did an amazing job cutting his hair, which was way overdue for a cut.

Took my five year-old son here and had such a great experience. My son loves to play the video games and the staff was so sweet and really understand even a simple haircut is a special moment with your kid

We used to go to the Sharky’s near the beach but as soon as we found out one was opening near us we decided to make the switch. Although they’re different owners, Mrs. Maria did a phenomenal job with our kid. She’s super kind, very patient, and for kids on the spectrum, very understanding. 10/10 recommend to all parents/guardians.

Excelente atención, se merecen 1000 estrellas realmente 🫶🏻 los descubrí hace poco pero no dejare de traer a mi nene, la señora Maria tiene muy buen manejo con los niños. Les recomiendo venir y traer a sus niños, no se arrepentirán !!!

Sharkeys was amazing for my son’s first haircut! Maria was fabulous and so patient. Love that we could put his favorite show on the TV and he could sit in a cool fire truck seat! Highly recommend.

Staff here are amazing! They did a great job on my daughters haircut and even painted her nails while she waited for me to get my haircut. Come see Maria! I've been getting haircut by her for years before she moved to this business. Definitely will be bringing back both my girls!

We recently had a wonderful experience at Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids, and I can't say enough about Maria's amazing skills! She did a fabulous job with both my son and husband, making them feel comfortable and ensuring they both left looking great. My son especially loved the fun atmosphere, and Maria was patient and attentive, creating a perfect style that suited him. Her friendly attitude and professionalism made the whole experience enjoyable for everyone. We’ll definitely be coming back to Maria for future haircuts!

We went with our kiddos for them to get a haircut. This is the cutest place for them! My son enjoyed playing video games while getting a haircut and my daughter enjoyed the pretty girly spot. We didn’t have time to get nails done but they have a princess section for the girls to get their nails and hair done. Adorable! Staff was great and Maria the manager was so good with the kids.
