Excellent work by Lauren, kind and friendly with the kid, the only reason why I give one star is cause the other girl working there idk the name she was rushing Lauren, saying she was behind time, cause I ask Lauren to cut little be more on the sides, so she spent more time than expected. So this girl ask Lauren to charge me double, I don't mind paying double or triple I said, I think that's not the way to talk to I guess, I might be wrong 😕 I understand that's why appointments are for and people is scheduled over schedule but. We did our son’s first haircut here and were very happy with the experience! Miss Niya was great with him and he looked so cute when we left! Would definitely recommend!

. Outstanding Review for Sharkey’s Haircuts for Kids in Scottsdale I cannot say enough great things about Sharkey’s Haircuts for Kids in Scottsdale! The staff did an amazing job cutting my kids’ hair—they were professional, kind, and so friendly throughout the entire experience. My daughter, in particular, has always been nervous about haircuts and had refused to let anyone cut her hair for over 3 ½ years. We had tried multiple salons, but nothing worked. That all changed when we came to Sharkey’s! The moment she saw the Barbie Jeep, she climbed right in, and for the first time ever, she actually let someone cut her hair. It was such a joyful moment for our family to see her so comfortable and happy. The team was incredibly patient and gentle, creating a fun and welcoming environment that put my daughter at ease. They truly went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for their professionalism and care. My daughter left with the biggest smile and the cutest haircut—and now she refuses to go anywhere else! Thank you, Sharkey’s, for making this such a special experience for us. If you’re looking for a place that truly understands kids and makes them feel at home, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

This is our third visit to Sharkey’s, for my toddler with special needs (ASD), and it’s the only place we’ve had a full successful haircut! He tolerates the hair cutting process better and better each time! I don’t even stress this time when we went in! We didn’t leave having a meltdown, and because of that, our day was made! It’s so easy to take a simple child’s haircut for granted. Sharkey’s is the only place for us. We’ve never had a bad experience, and Lauren was amazing! Whether you have a special needs child or not, the quality of service is worth giving it a try for yourself!

Lauren was very good and spoke so sweetly to my granddaughter and kept telling her she was doing a great job! My granddaughter loved having her nails done as well!! It’s a fun place and very comfortable for young people. They can watch videos while their hair is being cut and that helps keep the stress level down.

Sharkey’s is great! We will definitely be coming back. Miss Niya was so patient with our toddlers first haircut. We have tried multiple times to cut his hair at home and it always ended in tears. Niya went with the flow, got him used to the environment and was so fun and interactive as she cut his hair. No tears! Highly recommend!

Niya was absolutely amazing it was our first experience and she had time to squeeze in my daughter for a hair cut also even through I had only scheduled my son, who is two and I was dreading his hair cut and instead it was amazing!!!! She is incredible and truly just knows what she’s doing, distractions, entertainment, encouragement, extra attention to detail etc ! This will be our go to spot for all future hair cuts !!!

Not the best experience with Naya. She was rude and harsh to me and my kids also. She did an okay job with the cuts, not amazing but satisfactory. But I would never take my kids to see her again. She also didn't clean up after the previous guest so there was someone else's hair all over the floor during our appointment.

SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! I went in for a boys haircut and Nayla was AGGRESSIVE and rude! To the point I had to ask why she was being that way? In front of my son! So so so terrible. She then tells me to leave. I wish I recorded this interaction I have no words. You don’t want that nasty energy cutting your kids hair! Go to SIT STILL ACROSS THE STREET GREAT SERVICE

Today was our first experience at sharky's and we had Ms. Niya cut our son's hair. His first haircut had been awful so we found another place we've been going to ever since but it was very far. When his stylist left that place I decided to give sharky's a try. I cannot express how happy I am that I did! First off, Naya was so patient and fun and engaging and understanding. His cut was fabulous and exactly what I asked for. The fact they have a functioning lightning McQueen car for him to sit in is a reason in itself for me to want to go here. He has a severe obsession with lightning McQueen haha. The other kids places were fun as well but my experience here has been the best yet! I even enjoyed chatting with Niya! Will be back.

Excellent haurcut for my busy 4YO boy, ms naya was very skilled at keeping him still. My daughter got the haur tinsel and unfortunately it lasted one day.
