The staff at sharkys is always so pleasant and friendly and the salon is always so clean! My son LOVES coming to sharkys to get his haircut. They have so much to keep the kids entertained while getting their haircut! We love sharkys!

We love Sharkeys!! They treat the kiddos like super stars! The girls always leave feeling pampered and special and our little man always leaves looking handsome as ever! They have super fun chairs for the kids to sit in, nail painting and hair tinsel for the girlies, lollipops, and balloons! It’s a whole event whenever we go to Sharkeys!! They even generously squeezed in our little guy when I made the mistake of not making him an appointment! 10/10 recommend Sharkeys!

Sarah did a wonderful job handling my sons during their haircut. They get pretty ticklish but she was patient and was able to get an even cut, which can be difficult. The space in general is nice and clean and I love the little freebie options of the balloons and stickers after.

Outstanding experience for my sons 1st haircut. He's on the spectrum and has significant sensory issues. I was really worried he wouldn't let them cut his hair but not only did he let them but he had an amazing experience! He didn't want to leave lol. They did a great job, they were very clean, had lots of fun chairs, tvs that could stream, toys and things to distract him. They even have a sensory room for special needs kids. 10 out of 10 recommend!!!

My 4 year old had her first haircut today. Amber was absolutely amazing. Her hair is looking absolutely wonderful. The environment is so kid friendly and the nails are just the cherry on top of this whole experience. We will be coming back!

Super cute, fun and friendly atmosphere- Amber understood the assignment and nailed the haircut for our very particular 10 year old. Interactive gaming to keep him distracted was the best part and he walked out a happy customer. We will definitely be back and recommend Sharkey’s to all of our friends with kids!

I took my daughter to get a haircut, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. She had a cut a small piece in the front middle of her hair. I just asked for bangs. The stylist was clearly inexperienced and waited way too long to ask for help, which resulted in a complete mess. My daughter’s hair was butchered beyond repair, and we now have to for it to grow out. The bangs are almost 2” above her eyebrows and she cried the entire way home. I understand that everyone has to start somewhere, but proper supervision and guidance should have been provided from the beginning. The stylist with experience was behind the desk the entire time. This was a $39 haircut prior to a military discount. We even declined the wash. Very disappointed. I have no way to contact privately to even seek some type of resolution or refund.

You have to get the right stylist here as with any place. AMBER is amazing very good choice. DO NOT LET D'SANI DO YOUR CHILD's HAIR. Absolutely a kid friendly environment but having the TV screens up high is messing up haircuts and giving poor angles. The kids attention needs to be level with their natural sitting and standing so when the hair is being cut it's settling at a natural level. When the kids look up most of the time and are distracted by the tvs angled up high it's just making things a bit difficult I can tell and when my middle child got a really bad haircut by D'Sani I had to ask Amber to fix it and now it's much shorter and differently shaped than we wanted because it had to be saved. Both issues were at play with my child looking up at the tv but also D'Sani not using any hair cutting skills - measuring, parting, comparing lengths of the sides to make sure things were even. I'm grateful Amber was there to salvage it. I had a great experience with Amber for my children but I do think a little rearrangement of the screens to be more practical for the haircut would be better. And also there's not really seating with back support for the waiting parents so I walked around a lot because I was uncomfortable and couldn't get settled and I didn't want to sit in the client chairs. I think the nail polish in the package is a fun experience for them. My children did say they liked their old their old salon better so I probably won't be back but having Amber do your child's hair is a good choice if you go here. :)

What we went in with- what we asked for- what we got!! His first real haircut! I wanted his hair to look nice for photos with his 5 day old sister for Christmas and I don't want any photos!!! What a horrible way to start a big brother journey and Christmas!!! Could I have said stop, kinda, she kept cutting untill she had to make it even!! I could have done better! I have done better with my kitchen scissors at home! Just to add. We discussed taking just half an inch off the top. And we specifically asked that his bangs are just short enough to be out of his eyes.

This place is so incredible! My son is usually difficult getting his hair cut but the staff went above and beyond with the service. The prices you can't beat and the atmosphere is perfect!!
