If I could leave 10 stars, I could!!!! I have been seeing Shawn for over 10 years and have followed him from studio to studio. Shawn has always adapted to my own changing hair styles with ease and grace. I know I’m going to leave his salon feeling like a superstar for the rest of the day. Aside from his exceptional hair styling skills, he’s always such a joy to be around. If you’re going to be sitting in a chair with someone for 2+ hours, he’s the one you want to be with! Can’t say enough great things :)

Very friendly and has a lot of experience doing hair. He was able to perfectly match my original base hair color before the grey took over and add hi lights for a great sunny blonde. I highly recommend him.

I’ve been going to Shawn for over 9 years and have followed him from a large salon to his place in Salon Lofts. He’s a fantastic colorist (I often get compliments on my color & highlights) & is the best at cuts as well. He’s great at listening to what I want- and then actually doing it! Plus hes fun to be around! Highly recommend him!

I can’t say enough great things about Shawn! I always look forward to my highlights and haircuts with him. He is honest about what my hair needs and doesn’t try to upsell any unnecessary treatments. He is easy to schedule with and has been flexible when I need to change an appointment. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair! 10/10 across the board!

I had been going to the same hairdresser for 25 years. My sister goes to Shawn and loves him. I decided to try a change and let Shawn do my hair. I absolutely love his work so much. I've now been going to him for 2 years and will never go to anyone else. Shawn does my tape-ins and highlights. He does amazing magic with my very thin hair!!! I moved to Atlanta 7 years ago and struggled to find a hair stylist who could give me the haircut and experience I was looking for until I found Shawn! Now I have been going to Shawn to get my hair cut for over 5 years and would cry if I couldn't. Not only does Shawn listen to his clients and do exceptional work, he is always giving style recommendations and is FUN. I trust him implicityly! Also, location of studio and parking is a breeze. Shawn validates the parking so it is free. Highly recommend.

Shawn always does amazing work cutting my hair. I have had long hair and now a shorter bob, and I am never disappointed with what he does. As a matter of fact, I followed him when he left a major salon in Buckhead. I love the convenience of his current salon with free parking. He cares about his customers, his service is impeccable, and he uses only the best products. I highly recommend you give him a try.

Shawn does a great job with my blonde/haircut and I love the space he works out of (he provides parking validation) Since it is just him it’s always a very calm experience unlike a busy salon. He is very easy to talk to and I always enjoy my appointments.

I started going to him just for haircuts, and then took a shot on him doing my hair color too and my hair has honestly never looked better…he’s really in tune to clients’ wants and needs, and uses and remembers all your feedback every time you go in to see him. Shawn is absolutely a hair artist! I have super straight hair and he does an excellent job keeping the style crisp and updated. I followed him to this location because I couldn’t find anyone else with his talent! And- great location with validated parking above. Could not be more easier! Lots of restaurants around, too!

Starting out at Aveda 23 years ago, he then moved on to Van Michael Salon before opening his private studio in Midtown for more personal attention to his clients. He specializes in womens Color, Curl & Cut but does fantastic guys cut and highlight. Find him in the front Salonlofts window at 77/12th building.

Came to him every other week for blow outs while pregnant - money well spent. Shawn is also such a wonderful person - he is never going to oversell you or rush your service.
