Today 11/16/2024 I experienced a Japanese ultimate head spa. As someone who suffers from dandruff this was the best experience ever. Shay took extra care of my scalp. From the attention to detail, relaxing facial, and body massage. I felt like I was on cloud nine. My scalp feels amazing. I will be definitely recommending her services to my friends and family

I am 5 months postpartum and I wanted to treat myself to a self-care day. I found Shay’s Peaceful Escape on Facebook and decided to book a New Client Brazilian wax and Signature Facial. Plus, she wasn’t too far from me in Bracken Village, which was what I wanted, some place in close proximity. I had to fill out forms about my skin and wax history prior to coming so she could know which products to have on hand, and to make sure I wasn’t allergic to anything. I liked having the option to fill them out before the appointment so that we could start the services on time. Shay was very welcoming and the space was very clean and neat. She explained the services and step-by-step instructions which helped me feel at ease. Shay made me feel very comfortable and checked in with me often throughout my services to make sure I was ok, especially since I had a baby just a month prior. She was very thorough in the wax, using great lighting to make sure all hair was removed (and I mean all), and she didn’t rush, which was also a plus. The facial was very relaxing. I liked the products used because it gave me an example of what I should be using for my daily face routine. Overall, I had a really nice time! We had great conversation about services and about life in general, and she was very professional and knowledgeable about her work. I highly recommend her for waxing (especially for African American women intimate waxes) and any self care services you may be in need of.

My best friend Andrea and I had a girl’s day and got facials with Shay. I got the radio frequency facial and my friend got the microdermabrasion facial and WOW our skin has never looked better! OH EM GEEE! This place is radiant and it’s such a beautiful place for relaxation. I found her on Groupon and immediately when I walked in, she was so friendly and so welcoming I knew that she was going to be a keeper! She has put so much effort and hard work into her place of business that I already have been Telling friends and family. I give this place a 10 out of 10! 🥳🩷

Shay is amazing. She was very patient, gentle, and made me feel extremely comfortable. Her shop is comforting, quiet, and so clean. I left with the ultimate best results and her list of services she provides is huge! My 1st time getting a Vagacial and it was a wonderful experience. Shay is extremely knowledgeable about skin care. During the Brazilian wax she checked in with me frequently to make sure the wax wasn’t too hot. All of the hair was removed to my liking and the preparation before the waxing as well as the after care was a 10/10. This will be my new spot for my Brazilian wax.
