I have curly hair and received a silk press with what was expected to be a trim service but turned into a cut. The stylist is very talented and I walked out loving my hairdo. My rating is 2 stars because her communication was very poor which negatively impacted my overall experience. Veronica was with another client when I arrived and didn’t start my hair until 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I had to ask for an update after waiting for at least 10 minutes to receive transparency on a more accurate start time. Then I was charged more than what I initially expected to pay. I didn’t realize it would be more expensive until she was done with my hair and she gave me the bill. Though Veronica did a great job on my hair, I would’ve appreciated more transparency initiated on her end about pricing, services and wait time when she was aware of the changes instead of after the fact. These little things weakened her level of professionalism in my opinion which doesn’t make me want to go back. If you go, just make sure to ask clarifying questions early so you’re not surprised about the services you expect to receive.

I recently got my hair dyed blonde at She Hair Salon, and I absolutely love it! The stylist was incredibly friendly and professional, making the whole experience enjoyable. She took her time to understand what I wanted and delivered fantastic results. The color is vibrant and looks amazing! I highly recommend She Hair Salon to anyone looking to refresh their look. I'm new to the neighborhood & needed my hair styled perfectly for the Nicki Minaj concert on Sept. 7th. Veronica sat w/ me & described everything thoroughly for clarity and all I can do was trust the process & I'm glad I did. Love my hair, I will be returning! Highly recommend! Thank you

I had an appointment with Veronica today. She tried to play me. First-time client, came early to discuss process and price. Veronica instantly starts to take out my hair not giving me a chance to know what her plan is and how much it's going to cost. A hairstyle that costs no more than $150 anywhere, been rockin a short cut for years, with a few short tracks added. Veronica is telling me she's going to charge me $310, no way! She thought I would say ok because she started to take my hair out, but that wasn't happening. On top of that her attitude is effed up to!+

Horrible I think the ladies low-key racist or insecure. I’m trying to explain to her how other people do my hair since my hair is thin and she trying to give me other techniques. that’s nice and all but if I’m telling you that something doesn’t work for my hair, it doesn’t work and that’s OK. She took that as an attitude and told me to get out her store with my child with me. Everybody has their own different way of getting their hair done and I think that’s OK . Very unprofessional, and rude to talk to your client or anyone who is trying to be a client in that manner . No business owner or worker supposed to go back-and-forth with a client

I was a walk in and it is Mothers Day Saturday so I had a wait but it was well worth the wait. Veronica is very personable professional and a great stylist. All of the stylists are friendly and make you feel comfortable. Veronica the owner does not pressure you into getting a style you don't want She is very understanding and knows hair and textures. My hair is very short now and I wanted fingerwaves. I must say she slayed the fingerwaves. I have already made my next appointment. The icing on the cake is that she's in my neighborhood. I walked by there for years and after reading the reviews I felt confident that I could get what I wanted and I did

I went in there unannounced and they let me in, even when they were about to close. The lady took just 6-7 mins to trim my hair and she gave me an excellent cut. I would give her 10 stars if I could. She was awesome, quick and the haircut was professional looking and brilliant. The prices are very decent. This is my first hair cut ever in new york City and I'm definitely coming back here for my next cut. Excellent!!

My stylist insisted for me to get a perm told her didn’t have a perm in a few years I should had listen to myself n kept it no my head so sore in the middle to where I got headache to spend 200 on a short cut n perm n to be at working hurting ain’t cool at all. I read all the reviews starting to think some of these are fake When I get home I’m take pictures n add it also look like I got a burn from the curling iron. Mind u told her my hair is thin shaking my head.

So i found this stylist on styleseat and needed my microlinks/sewin styled ASAP for my birthday and my other stylist was unavailable. I got there and she said she couldn’t work with them and instead said she’d only do a removal. I was in a tight spot and agreeed to a sew-in and purchasing hair from her for the install. I asked for 16 inches, she conveniently had none and only offered to sell me 24 inch bundles… a scam because it meant I would have to buy extra bundles for fullness (3 bundles later & the hair was still thin 🙄) I came in expecting a $200 hair appointment at max and left paying over $700. I feel she took advantage of my desperation to look nice for my birthday & dinner that night. Anyway, she also gave me a relaxer, in the middle of it I noticed her perming all the way to my ends (overprocessing already straight hair) and complained… she did it anyway. When I went home, I noticed that the weave was unevenly cut. I returned the next day and she fixed it. Within two weeks I noticed the tracks were coming out. I returned, and she tightened them. Then it happened again so I went back! When I noticed the tracks slipping a third time I decided to take the install out (after a month and a half). My hair was horribly damaged and breaking off underneath. I was natural for 4 years and just returned to perms within the past year. Now I have to big chop and start over. I believe stylist’s priority shouldnt just be to make your hair look decent for a moment, but to ensure your hair remains healthy & not in a worse state than when you came in. Very disappointed. I posted a picture of the length that broke off. UPDATE: Stylist texted me and called me broke and a liar. She’s very argumentative. I posted how the hair looked the day of service before I went back the next day for her to fix it. I believe $300+ bundles shouldnt be so thin and a $200+ sew in shouldnt have tracks falling out.. don’t see how that equates to me being poor… Im moreso concerned about about the state of my own hair which she destroyed. The broken off hair posted is my actual hair to avoid any confusion! The stylist accused me of posting pictures of the 24” weave which had been removed prior to unbraiding and washing my real hair.

Ronnie did an awesome job with my silk press. I am a naturalista and I rarely go to salons because I am finicky about other people doing my hair. But when I tell you my hair is slayed, silky, soft and healthy I almost can’t believe. I would recommend this salon a 1000x over.
