Frustrating experience. Called to book a spa package. The lady that picked up said receptionist had stepped out and that they would call back. They did call but when I asked questions about the spa package, she couldn’t really answer my questions and didn’t really seem to know the details. She indicated price of the package was $15 more than what the website indicated and the website hadn’t been updated yet, they honored the original price. Booked it. They called the next day to cancel the appointment because scheduling system was messed up and now they couldn’t get me in until April.

Marie has such a calming spirit 😌 I'm always been able to talk to her while getting a manicure or pedicure. Being a nurse it is always clean, warm comfortable atmosphere. And now with Covid-19 everyone wears a mask.

Easily one of the best spa facilities I have been to. First of all, the business is run with a very intimate approach that makes you feel right at home. I have received a mani/pedi along with a facial. The mani/pedi’s are wonderful as a natural brown sugar scrub is used, not to mention the buffer! My hands & feet have never been so smooth. The facials are also splendid as well. I normally have whiteheads on my nose which can be a nuisance to extract. The Aesthetician on sight does an outstanding job of understanding your skin and soothing my face. Shear Bliss does it for me and the prices are at fair market value, easy referral.

I really love working with Alyvia. I think I have been to her three times now and she has always been very professional and kind towards my skin. I also appreciate the knowledge she gives during our appointments so I can keep a consistent skin regimen .

Shear Bliss salon is a great salon with great service. Vanessa is the owner and she really knows how to take care of our hair. I travel all the way from South Carolina to visit her. She takes care of me and my daughters hair. I wish I could take her back home with me. I highly recommend this salon!

I was going here regularly for a Brazilian wax. I loved how personable the wax lady was, she was always willing to chat and share little updates about her life and relationships with me. It took away any awkwardness from getting the service. The rooms are plush, chic and very lavish. They always have a couple snacks and water on hand for guests. The prices were a little steep but honestly on point for the general area, $55 per wax and less if you refer friends. My hair proved to be a little tough so I only switched to a service that offered a thicker wax to remove more hair in less time. Would still recommend.

After an unpleasant experience at another nail salon, I decided to give this spot a try, and oh boy, I am so glad I did! Marie is awesome! I loved the personal touch that she gave ME while doing my nails. First and foremost, my appointment started on time. Secondly, Marie did NOT use a drill to file and buff my nails; Marie filed and buffed my nails by hand, which I absolutely loved. She took her time, and she showed great care when filing, buffing and polishing my nails. The most important part about my experience was that I did not feel rushed at all. I didn't feel like Marie was trying to hurry up and finish my nails so that she could move on to her next client. Marie was thorough and precise, and cleanliness of her work station and tools was never a concern for me. It was a comfortable, warm and relaxing atmosphere; after a long stressful day at work, I felt like I could kick back and relax a little bit. Our conversation was light, but we shared a few laughs about general topics. I highly recommend that you entrust Marie with caring for your nails. You won't be disappointed!

I had a few incidents with the salon during the 5 months I had been coming here for a waxing. First off, one time I arrived early and I heard another employee telling the wax specialist Jen that her other client was coming in very soon. I was confused because I had booked a month in advance for a half hour and had been established here for a couple months. I was told that this client called the same day and managed to squeeze in between two already set appointments because she was a regular customer and needed a wax in a pinch. The entire experience that day was very rushed to fit in someone who didn't book in advance so my appointment time was cut in half to accommodate someone else. The wax job that day was sloppy and there were several spots that were missed due to the speed in which everything was done. I went home feeling snubbed, covered in wax and upset that I had to shave my legs right after I got them done. Another time, I called in to schedule an appointment with Jen for a wax the following week and was told she had a few openings that same day that I called. I went ahead and made an appointment that day since she was open and when I arrived at the salon (literally 2 hours later), Olivia went to go get Jen. After being gone for 2 minutes she came back and told me that Jen actually already went home for the day. I understand emergencies happen but if she went home, her afternoon appointments should have been called and notified to cancel instead of going over there to find out. I was peeved since Jen was my regular and I wasn't informed but I went ahead and did my waxing with Olivia since I was there. It went great, and I rescheduled with Olivia the next month. I went back the next month to meet with Olivia and the wax she used on my eyebrow burned my skin so I had a scab there for about a week and a half. Needless to say that was the final straw so I never went back. I spoke with the salon owner and explained all of this when I canceled my next month's appointment. I give my review an extra star since the salon owner did offer a free appointment since my usual person was Jen, not Olivia but after three times of unsatisfaction I knew that I wouldn't be returning. Other than these 3 times, I had a great experience so it is up to you whether or not you want to give them a shot. This place just isn't the right salon for me.

I have been going to this salon and spa for years and the nail expert Marie is one of the best in the business. She is always very meticulous and detailed and extremely sanitary. She is informative and kind and cares about the oversll health or your nails. All instruments are sterile and she even makes her creams and scrubs from scratch and they are awesome. I've never ever had a bad experience here and will continue to support. I drive 40 minutes just to come to her so If you want a great nail experience then Marie is your lady. I've referred many of my friends and family here and the consensus is the same...GREAT...The best mani and pedicure I have had to date!!!

I just read what Shawna or (sorry).Shawnte said about Marie. I too had the pleasure of having a manicure and pedicure and was treated to Reflexology! Not only did she address the pain issues I experienced through my feet!!!! My nails and toes were cute and I felt so much better physically when I left! She is very meticulous, clean, and very detail oriented. What we left out is that she is very professional about her work, but if you engage her in a conversation, she is a hoot! I have recommended her to my family and friends and will continue to do so!

I want to say Thank you to all employees at Sheer Bliss Salon and Day Spa. Multicultural atmosphere which I love. My girlfriend Wendy got her hair done for my wedding by Denise she looked beautiful!! The atmosphere is open and full of outdoor light giving me a warm welcome. I had my hair dyed and styled, manicure and pedicure. Special shout out to Marie and Vanessa! Being picky plus all natural she was gentle didn't rush. My hair was laid hunntyyy!! I got my nails and feet done WOW!! I've been a Nurse for 13 years and Marie's cleanliness was on point she could set up a sterile surgical table!! Get it!! Love her technique, takes her time it's like each finger and toe got some love! Very pleasant conversation and she wasn't loud or asking a lot of questions she let me set the tone for the conversation very respectful. My nails were EPIC as my husband would say. Clean and neat. My color was popping. I'm definitely going back wouldn't miss an appointment. Highly recommend this Spa.

This was a strange experience for me. I did not get my hair done or anything that is semi permanent but I did get a mani pedi. I made the apt for 12 and I was not in the chair until 1220. When I came in it was just me in a room with two spa chairs. The bath was foamy but barley any water. I stuck my feet in and the only two words she said to me the entire 2 hours was pick your color and what type of payment are you using. She was not very friend (but not really rude either). She messed up the paint on my toes really bad so she had to spend at least 5 mins cleaning it up with remover. On to the manicure, I got gel. She cut my cuticles all the way down and it was NOT pleasant. She was cutting deep and even left some stray little pieces. She left streak marks on the gel and almost holes between my cuticle and the polish. Another thing to mention is the cleanliness. She used old and used towels to wipe my legs and hands off. I do not think she sterilizes her tools as I did not see the blue little packs or any machine to do so (Could be wrong about that tho). When I finally went to pay I could not believe the price. 80 dollars for that. What a waste of money. I will not return and do not recommend it.

This is the best experience a person can have on their birthday. I recommend all customers get the "Ultimate Bliss package". Every staff member that I met was awesome!! I do have some feedback that I feel could help this spa company. 1. Update your website with the correct pricing and fix any error that on your website. 2. When calling for information or appointment, I feel you're receptionists should be as professional and inviting as it was when visiting your establishment. 3. Customer states you're pricing is lower on your website then what you're telling them, you should honor the price on your website.
