Fran did a terrific job with my 16-year-old daughter’s request for a new haircut style on New Year’s Eve. The salon is super cute and warm. A perfect start to 2025🥰

Everything that could’ve gone wrong, went wrong. The time was mismanaged. Stains were left all over my forehead. My hair did not actually get coverage, lots of grays were left behind. The response to my disappointment was defensive. They tried to offer in the end, a free redo. However, the experience was so terrible,I don’t think I can return.

Always a delight to go to shear design! Wonderful staff and they really take pride in their work. I come all the way from Paris to get great color and a cut from Holly! It’s worth it!

It's a fun friendly place to have your hair, nails and massages done Very modern styles. I use Ken and we have great conversations bout town politics to horror movie. He's a lot of fun..and I get a great haircut

I just moved and am new to the area and wandered in one day looking for a new stylist. As a very picky New Yorker used to great cuts I was so delighted to find Erin who not only gave me a great cut but also was such a delight to talk with. The entire experience was wonderful and just what I needed after a very stressful move. So happy to have found such a great salon and such a wonderful salon. Thanks Erin!!!

I have been going to Shear Design for more than a decade! Their place is incredible such talented hair stylists and they are taking so many precautions right now with covid. I have a pretty solid relationship with the person that cuts my hair, she has been cutting my hair for almost as long as I have been going to their salon. And she was telling me everything that they were having to do right now and wanting to do to make sure their clients are safe. I would trust them completely.

I've been looking for someone who can tame my hair for over 2 decades and spent thousands of dollars. I've had dozens of keratin treatments that didn't do jack for me, I came here as a walk in on a trip a year ago and i travel almost 5 hours (10 hours round trip!) to get my hair cut here from now on.
