My daughter's junior prom!! They were able to get us in day before and they saved the day. Once we got home to blend in the extensions with her natural hair it looked fantastic!! Thank you guys so much!! Immaculate facility, great environment sweet women working, and the price was fair.

I asked for a trim... but I got a haircut... I’m getting engaged in the next month and wanted to have my hair longer for pictures... now the pictures I’ve been dreaming about most of my life will never be what I had hoped for. All this after waiting 45 minutes WITH an appointment... I’m incredibly upset. I went home and just cried. In response the the owner: My hair had been maintained and trimmed. You yourself had trimmed it nearly two months prior (I have attached photos for you and others to reference). And when you asked me if I wanted it trimmed like last time I said yes. This was not trimmed like last time. And instead of apologizing for that after my review, I was met with excuses. I also wanted my hair longer in the next month for an engagement, not months. It took me about 3 years to get my hair to the length that it was at. I believe, as with most businesses, the main concern should be fulfilling the request from the client, not what is deemed "best" by the owner.

I shared with Vivian what state my hair was in and what I wanted. I asked her if it made sense, she said yes. I arrived at the salon and the door was closed because she ran out to the store. She cut my hair without inspecting and checking what needed to be done. Then while undoing my faux locs was griping about it. Afterwards when it came to payment I figured out of fairness she would offer a discount and didn’t, instead she overcharged me for the time to take it out instead of letting me as she did it. I asked her for a discount and she said how much? I said $50. Initially she agreed to the discount that I suggested then she took my card and reneged as she ran the card and only did a $35 discount instead. She tried to say my hair was matted and I misled her and she didn’t know she was cutting my hair. This is obviously inaccurate. I explained to her we discussed it when we spoke on the phone and asked her don’t they teach you in beauty school to look at a clients hair before cutting? She said yes. So how could she know my hair was matted without looking as she tried to claim? She didn’t look that’s the problem, she only looked later as she did my hair. Obviously she was negligent, careless, and unprofessional. She could’ve done it on purpose it seems.The weave looked terrible and she was unprofessional. Don’t go to this salon. If you do, it will be at your own risk and getting cheated out of your money and hair, in my case both. Don’t come to this cheap salon with poor service and management! You’ll regret it like I did. Vivian’s quality of work and obviously her integrity are severely lacking and if you do believe the other reviews it’s because those people don’t know good quality hair. Go at your own risk!! I guarantee you’ll regret it. If I could give a lower star rating I would. This woman knows nothing about elegance and has no business doing weaves.

Vivian has left me slayed everytime I've been there. Always on time dont have to sit for hours. And found comfortable being there well going thru war with this hair due to my health issues taking my hair out and in the last few months of going I can tell a big difference with this growth I'm so glad I found her

My hair stylist (Vivian) has been doing my hair for over 15 years! She is very knowledgeable in hair heatlh care and she stays up to date on the latest hair trends. She specializes in hair cuts, color and styles. I always get compliments on my hair after every hair appointment. I also love the relaxing and comfortable atmosphere of Shear Elegance Hair Salon. The other hair stylists are amazing as well and they are very welcoming and friendly. It's a great place to go to be treated like the "queens" that we all are.
