I found this place based on online reviews and pics. Both my daughters come here too, and we couldn’t be happier! We have gotten cuts, color, prom hair, etc and love either of the ladies! The best part is Norma and Angelica actually listen to what you want and over time you will feel like family! Best place in San Antonio!

I was traveling through San Antonio and needed to have my haircolor touched up and a trim. I made an appointment with Angelica. She matched my color perfectly. She is very nice, and easy to talk to. We had quite a few laughs! I had a great time while she was doing my hair. I would very highly recommend her. I will definitely go to her again when I'm in town! Thanks again Angelica!

Norma does an excellent job coloring, highlighting and cutting my thick and wavy hair. She is a good listener. If I just want my hair trimmed and thinned out, that’s exactly what she does. My hair always looks good when I leave the salon and is easy to style at home.

My first visit with Norma was over 5 years ago and I have never once been anything but incredibly satisfied with her work. Started with a volumizer piece and hair extensions. Now she learned a new technique for hair toppers and it is the best thing ever. It does not feel like you are wearing a hair topper.  Between her amazing conversation and expert skill at making my hair look great every single time I wholeheartedly recommend Norma at Shear Genius Salon for the best hair extensions and toppers. I have been here three times. Haircuts and hair coloring. Angelica is a fantastic stylist and a pleasure to chat with. You can tell that she really cares about her client's hair. I recommend booking an appointment with her as soon as possible. Great location and plenty of parking.

I love my hair color. Norma nails the blonde color, never brassy or too platinum. My hair looks naturally blonde. Just the way I want it to look.

Norma is the definition of perfection when it comes to haircutting and coloring. I have red and blonde highlights and she listened and figured out what I wanted while other stylists struggled. Best in San Antonio, and the service is impeccable. Highly recommend.

When I moved here I had trouble finding a salon and she fixed one bad haircut and when I went back with my husband to get his hair cut too. She doesn't kno how to cut men's hair at all. My husband left with half way done bc she kept using thinking shears and couldn't cut a straight line! With my cut had uneven lines in the back and when I finally found a great stylist he said "omg he cut ur hair last she did a horrible job it was all uneven in the back" would never recommend her to no one! Also she has conspiracy theory going on th TV along with very republican TV shows on all the time! Over charged me for a partial highlight with cut and a men's hair cut! She over charged me to learn how to cut a certain style and then screwed it up horribly!

I have been getting my hair extensions done by Norma for years now and she always does a great job. She matches my hair color perfectly and provides quality work for a great price. My hair always lasts and if I ever need a touch up she makes time for me to come in. Her salon is in a great location and there is always great conversation. I always recommend her to friends !

Norma has the best personality and I think that’s very important. She understood everything I was saying to her and how I wanted my hair before I even said it. Furthermore she is very good at helping you choose a color for extensions and she’s extremely patient and she is very understanding. I’m definitely gonna be a client for life!

Norma is the absolute best. She takes pride in her profession, no one will ever leave her chair with a disaster cut, color, style or anything. I went to her after another so called beautician butchered my hair with a layer that resembled a shelf and over 6 inches cut off. I was really worried I was going to just deal with it till it grew back. Nope Norma wouldn't let that happen. She took her time and was genuinely interested in what I wanted. I will never let anyone but her do my hair.
