I enjoyed my salon experience at Shear Luxe. Dana, did such a great job in helping me to camouflage my gray hair until I’m ready. After the silk press and the coloring, my hair was gorgeous. She is now my new hairdresser as I am very pleased with her work. And Katherine, her assistant is such a sweetheart.

Dana does great hairstyles and gives great customer service every time. I enjoy the Luxe Bux reward service options she gives that can be used on various hairstyles as well as spa, hair, and makeup product needs that actually work for me and my girls!

Horrible coloring experience!! Any professional stylist should know that lighting hair is a process. The owner Dana , caused breakage and major damage to my hair by not following that process. I chose not to return to a stylist that is money driven which caused the lost of my hair.

I waited 2 hrs to be seen. I was very excited because I was getting color on my natural hair. I got two tone color black and burgundy dye at the tips or ends. Well the burgundy came out orange much to my surprise, however my kids liked it and I was just happy to have color. However, my adult family and friends let me know this was a mistake and an error she made. This was permanent color and now you got to wait until it fades or buy a product to remove it so you can correct it. I am still waiting on the fading process and I will buy a product to remove it. I'm deeply disappointed because I remember her looking at the color and she was saying "Oh it was burgundy when it was on your head." kind of like blaming my hair for the mistake instead of just giving me a discount or just owning it.

We had a appointment at 12pm and arrived a few minutes before that time. We sat in a chair waiting for 30 minutes with NO ONE CHECKING IN OR GIVING DIRECTION. What's the point of making a appointment just to wait anyway. I could understand if we waited about 5-10 minutes but we waited for exactly 32 minutes and no one said anything. And the woman assisting was rude smh. WORST PLACE. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD . We ended up walking out.

Go see Dana at Shear Luxe! She is absolutely FANTASTIC and saved my hair who someone else totally ruined. She is an absolute professional and takes care of you 100%. Her microbead installation was totally amazing and I had a great time too!!!

Very nice staff but I highly NOT RECOMMEND FOR A BALAYAGE HERE! my hair wasn’t blended and turned out way too brassy even when I warned it took longer than normal to process through red stages... for a balayage to have so much bleached up at the top I am still not understanding at all. My shirt had bleach all over it. I addressed my concerns after first visit and they were nice about offering a correction. I had no idea I was going back to have my hair turn out even worse. Now it is brown and awful ashy color and purple and grey. It just looks awful

My appointment time was a little behind, the environment is professional. Ms.Dana is the absolute best. She is not a stylist just wanting your money she is stylist who wants your hair as healthy as you and makes you feel like family while in her and out of her chair. Definitely a customer for LIFEEEEEEE.
