Cherry is a great stylist, she did exactly what I wanted from the cut to my color…she is a wizard let me tell you because she was able to bring life to my hair it was a mess with box color black she had to correct and made absolutely beautiful again!! I will be coming back that’s for sure!! From day one she had great communication with scheduling my appointment. Such a cute salon too!!

Not happy at all! Too expensive, Sherry was asked by my daughter and myself if she can do specific cuts & she said yes & we are both very disappointed! Not even close, don’t waste your time or money!

Took my granddaughter to get a cut and accessment. Summer was absolutely phenomenal. Shop is amazing itself but her knowledge and instructions were worth a million bucks. She walked out feeling like the true beauty she is! We will definitely be back for color and cuts. Summers skills with curly hair was the best. Would recommend this salon to everyone!

I saw Cherry last week and had an amazing experience! Prior to the appointment to communicated with me a ton, even late at night, so we could plan the style and color I wanted for my hair. The appointment itself was great and I felt very involved with the process to make sure I had my hair turn out exactly how I wanted. Looking forward to my next visit!

This place is such a vibe and the interior design is freaking awesome😆! The stylists are very welcoming, care about their clientele, and can accommodate those who need to get their hair done at unusual hours.. super grateful for my new hairstyle here and will be coming back to Cherry 🍒 from now on! 🖤 definitely recommend!

summer has been coloring my hair for close to a year now and i LOVE her. she has been able to transform my hair and make it look so beautiful all while keeping it healthy. she always talks you through everything she does and gives you the reasoning why she’s doing things which is not super common when getting your hair done. even when i initially started coming and my hair looked a mess she was never judgemental and was always so kind. i’ve told so many people to come here and i even brought my bf to my last appointment and she completely transformed his hair!! she is the sweetest, never pushy (like some other stylists) and always delivers amazing results. i always leave feeling better about myself! definitely book an appt at shear misfits!!

100% RECOMMENDED!!! Cherry was a life saver and did excellent work and on short notice. I called her asking for help as I had gone to get my hair dyed and what I got was not what I asked for. I messaged Cherry and she rearranged her schedule to help me and I could not be more grateful!

I just moved to the area and needed a new salon. I was so excited to find a salon that has my vibe and was given very indivialized attention. Cheryl was fantastic and though at one point I was feelingvery "blue" lol...Cheryl was able to counteract an unexpected chemical reaction and my hair is perfect. My buddy’s wife recommended that I’d go get my haircut at shear misfits. So I went to check it out, made an appointment with summer and expressed how I don’t really like talking during getting my haircut and when I did get my haircut, she kept the conversation pretty short but if you like a talker, I’m certain she’s more than capable of talking your head off. Great customer experience and it’s a nice little shop. 10/10

New to the area and have been he hesitant to try a new salon, but this place did not disappoint! In all my years of getting my hair done, I’ve never had my highlights done so good. Cherry did amazing, was very welcoming and personable. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Summer did a great job catering to my wavy/curly-ish hair! Asked if she had enough time for a regular haircut, went in realizing I wanted color (for the first time ever) and she willing accepted and did a beautiful job! Love the atmosphere of the salon too!

Summer did an amazing job bringing the rose gold vision to life! I explained what I wanted to achieve and she gave me a few options on what we could do. The final results are exactly what I was looking for!! Not to mention super friendly and such a cute studio!

Very disappointed. They only know how to work with white peoples hair. I called before appointment to ask specifics about my type of hair and was told they were able to work with me. At the time of my appointment (I was there on time). The girl started watching and blow drying an other persons hair. She was very nice and pleasant as an individual but did not know how to work my curly hair. I had to step out of the chair and tell her to stop to take her out of her misery because she looked like she was about to cry. I’m writing this review because on top of not being able to do my hair I still got charge $45. Never again. I feel like I got tricked and robbed.

Cherry is queen of color. I have given people a 2nd and a 3rd chance before and had to explain. Cherry took a quick assessment, was appropriately dismayed, and knew she could complete the look I was going for originally. She absolutely did. Cheryl did an awesome job on my hair! I tried a hairstyle and color that was a big change for me and I love how it came out. Every step of the way she explained what she was doing, putting in my hair, etc. and asked about the length and the look I wanted before cutting. The shop was very clean and the decor is awesome, and Cheryl was great to talk to. I'll definitely be back!!!

Cheryl is AMAZING. She does my hair perfectly every time and makes me feel gorgeous. I lost my last hairdresser to barber school and was scared to find someone else but BOY am I glad I did. Her studio is super cute and cozy. As a person she is very funny and awesome. She is so freaking accommodating. She fit me in at 7:15 am on a weekday so my hair was done for a big interview. She really is amazing and my hair literally always looks amazing because of her (color and cut). She even reassured me I can show up in sweatpants (I previously went to Aveda's and what not and it was like a NO NO if you weren't dressed high glam everytime) so now I get to enjoy my appointments even MORE. Anyways, choose this place, you won't regret it

I brought my 10 year old daughter and 6 year old son to get hair cuts for Back-to-School. The salon is beautiful and welcoming. Summer was fun and professional. Both my kids and I love their new looks! Thank you so much Summer! You definitely boosted their confidence and they’re ready for school! I’m definitely going back, and next time I’ll schedule a cut for myself!

I got highlights done by Cherry in early September and they still look amazing! I called random on a Friday morning and she got me in the same day for my appointment - which was wonderful! The salon is gorgeous as well and very clean! Definitely recommend and definitely will be going back soon! Before and after picture below!

This was my first time at Shear Misfits and I‘ve got to say I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. Summer cut and styled my curly hair beautifully. She was such a delight. The interior design of the salon was so cool & pretty. I got so many compliments on my hair. Definitely will come back. Thanks again!
