I had been looking for years for someone to maintain my bob. Terry not only maintains it but she has my hair growing and healthy. I just love her. The shop is always busy so I'm assuming all the other ladies are just as good at doing hair. Definitely 5 stars.

Not sure how this business has the number of stars it does. My experience with just trying to make an appointment was beyond rude and off-putting. When a potential client is requesting service, common courtesy is to say "hey, no availability today but how does this day work for you?" It surely shouldn't be "Not today!" In a rude tone and definitely not followed by a curt "no!" When a different date is proposed. It's little things like this that will always turn me away from a business. So, sorry this didn't work out for us but I hope you read this review and learn that customer experience is really everything.

It was great. A wonderful hair dye experience. I went from brown to blonde. Before I went from long to short. It was a great transformation. Joesie was really nice

I love my Stylist Candace. She is talented, kind, and creative! The salon is clean the other Stylists are kind and hospitable, their clients are all look so good when they leave the salon!

I was recommended to Candace by a guy who I only met once. I'm so glad he took the time to share with me. I highly recommend Candace to anyone who has natural hair: blow outs, twist, neo-afro, dreads, you name it. Candace is your girl. What makes Shear so wonderful is they have a diverse group of stylists who can work on a variety of hair types. The staff are professional and welcoming. During my recent visit a woman and I had been chatting with one another for 20 minutes. We were waiting to be seen. One of the stylists asked her who she was there to see? It turned out she was at the wrong salon. She was so upset that she had to leave. "I like this place! I've already made friends," she said. Instead of convincing her to stay, the stylists directed her to the correct location and said she was welcome to return in the future. That is professionalism and it shows integrity. I'll keep coming back for sure. They work on both men and women's hair.

I am from out of state, new to the area. I walked in to simply ask for rates. All ladies were attending clients and after a few minutes one came up with an abrupt, defensive attitude. I had asked if I could find out how much experience they had. She was immediately offended. I had to explain, I was a cancer survivor with thinning hair and had a bad experience in the past. The lady, still very defensive, expressed that they all had 30 yrs. Experience & what was she suppose to say that they don't know how to cut hair for cancer patients. I'm certain they are all exceptional but I will never give them my business. They have much to learn about customer service. Shear Poetry Salon, your not that fabulous.

I came from out of state and moved to the Greenhaven neighborhood . Terri and her crew are amazing!!!! I recieved the best pixie cut ever. I found my stylist!!! Thank you Terri!
