I have been seeing Sydney for a long time, and I cannot recommend her service enough. Not only is she courteous and kind, but she is so skilled at her craft! She genuinely cares about what she does and it shows in the experience and in your hair. The salon itself is very clean and everyone is friendly. I love coming here and my hair has never been healthier or happier!

I have had trouble finding someone to cut my curls in a way that made them thrive until I saw Chelsea. She took the time to teach me, step by step, how to care for my curls. I have never felt like a hair dresser truly understood my hair until today, when Chelsea was able to look at my hair and understand just how to cut it and dye it to look amazing. I have never before left a salon feeling like my hair looks the way I wanted it to until she cut and colored my hair. Every thing she did was meticulous, thought through, and explained to me so that I can continue to properly care for my hair. I cried tears of joy when I left because I FINALLY found someone who understands what it means to have curly hair. I am so thrilled and pleased with my results. I will never go anywhere else!

Loved my stylist work on my hair. She was very knowledgeable to curly hair and really worked with me and made sure I got the cut and dye I desired. She even let me come back for a second finish to really make sure the dye job was perfect. Awesome salon and will be coming back again in the future.

Had a fantastic experience. Chelsea, the lady that cut my hair, did a phenomenal job. We talked the whole time and she did exactly what I asked of her. The ambiance was great, her attitude was great, and even though it was an hour from where I live it was definently a trip well worth it. Would recommend for anyone and everyone.

Hailey is amazing! I have difficult hair. She knew exactly what to do and and gave me the exact cut i wanted. She even showed me a new styling technique I hadn’t seen before! She was thorough, kind, and I felt well attended to. I haven’t had luck with my curly hair in other salons but now that I’ve found Hailey, I’ll only go here while in SC!!

I’ve been going to Sydney since April, and I haven’t been this happy with my hair in years! This latest cut has grown out so well with the layers she added in, and I’m actually excited to do my hair everyday. It added body and texture. I can’t wait to go back. I love her so much, she’s wonderful!! Any time anyone mentions needing their hair done I tell them about Shear Xpectations, and specifically Syd. Check her out!

My son hated getting his curly hair cut. He's had so many bad haircuts, it took a lot to convince him that his hair needed at least a trim. I booked an adult shampoo/cut as I didn't want someone to rush through his cut - but we weren't charged as an adult, which is much appreciated. I sent in pictures of his current hair and the picture that he picked from the internet. I wish my husband would have gotten the name of the stylist, but she is in the after picture. She did an amazing job! He has never smiled after a haircut. He absolutely loves his cut and makes sure to part it where the stylist reccomended every morning. Thank you!
