The lady that was at the front desk is the same lady that was going to thread my eyebrows, she was very rude. When she asked me my name I told her Raven and she wrote another name and I stated no it’s Raven. She said “it doesn’t matter” and then pointed for me to go in the room with an attitude. I told her never mind and she said “huh” and I said NEVERMIND and she just stood in the door way confused why I was leaving. I will never go back there, I was interested in stopping for a while now but never again!

I had the absolute worst haircut experience of my life recently with Fatima. My hair looks like it has been severed with a dull sword, jagged and uneven! My bangs are angled the wrong way, longer closer to my face and shorter as they go back and are completely unblended and chunky. I’m a very easy customer and always ask for a simple trim, nothing more. On this evening, I didn’t insist that we dry my hair all the way because I knew it was later in the day and that I was only going home anyway. I thought this was an act of courtesy so she could go home because I knew I was her last customer of the day. When I got home I was HORRIFIED at the hack job that I received, so I drove back and politely pointed out the issue and she tried to haggle with me to come back the next day because she already put her supplies away but I couldn’t because I had to go to work and didn’t want to look foolish. To that she begrudgingly obliged with a very DRAMATIC AND LOUD SIGH! I was appalled!! She even tried to blame me for the terrible work she did at one point and after two seconds of touching up my bangs unenthusiastically I settled and said that’ll be fine because I didn’t want to risk it anymore with her & she SLAMMED DOWN THE HAIR SHEARS. Im an horrified by the experience and despite my whole family coming here for years we will not be returning thanks to this woman’s terrible attitude and awful customer service. Sheri is great but I just feel too uncomfortable to return after being treated that way by Famy.

My kids and I won't go any place else for our hair cuts!!! Mrs. Sheryl and her Gang of Extraordinary Stylist are like a second family! Always so personable, inviting, and sincere. My mom introduced me to the salon in 2007 or 08, and we've been going to see these fabulous ladies ever since! I always recommend Shears to my guest for all their beauty needs. They offer a lot of services from cut n color to spray/ UV tanning. The prices are also competitive. KIDS CUTS FOR $15 ADULT CUTS FOR AROUND $25. <<That's a great deal since you never feel like your in salon. It's like being at home with family n friends! I'm sure this is never said enough, but THANK YOU SHEARS ETC. FOR ALWAYS BEING SO AWESOME!!! ***The remodel is so fresh and beautiful!!!***

I just went in there for a very little trim and even know the woman was leaving when I got there she still stating trim my hair for me I'm very grateful while I was there and watching someone else get their haircut I noticed how good the other hairdresser also did this place is very clean

I went in for a balayage back in June with Amanda, the process she started on my hair was literally foil bleaching my whole hair not once but both visits I saw her. I brought it up to her about how terrible of a job it was looking especially for someone who calls herself the "color queen". She refused to refund me and refused to fix my hair. My hair was so brassy (orange toned), she saturated the bleach which bleed through both sides of my hair and the quality was just SO BAD from the get go and I had brought it up to her and she said that's her way of doing hair. When I asked about my refund ahe first said she wasnt in the position to pay me back then the following week she said she wasnt going to refund me because I stressed her out by messaging her lol. She left me with my hair looking like this. Also she is independent what I learned afterwards and doesn't work for Shears as she claims. Had I know that ahead of time that my hair work wasn't guaranteed I would of never gone there. I've had my hair colored over 15 times from brunette to blonde and it was always done in one session, it may have been 6 or 8 hours later but it looked awesome and not fried at all like what she did to my hair. When Amanda did mine from start to finish we were done in 2 hours the first visit and 3 hours the second visit. She did so little on my hair for the price that I paid which was $355 and this is what she left me. I would never EVER recommend her to anyone! I am still having to get my hair fixed from the damage she did and let me also mention I had to cut 5 inches off my hair after she completed destroyed it to where it was falling off in the shower. Use your money with someone else..SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE A LICENSE and I did report her to the board. I filed a civil claim and she never showed up or responded to court even after she asked me to take her to court. So the board will be handling her license and also the City of Baton Rouge will be proceeding with further process so I can get all my money back. She also tried charging me $700 plus for just a balayage which I was able to get it done for $150 and it was the best of work! PLEASE USE SOMEONE ELSE IF YOU WANT QUALITY WORK DONE...

This is absolutely the most pleasurable experience I’ve had in a long time! Amanda Gambino did her thing on my hair I absolutely love it! The employer is there we’re absolutely helpful and sweet! It has been 16 years since I have professionally had my hair done out of fear of getting another mullet but I am glad that I face that fear with the help of Shears Etc ! I couldn’t have asked for my hair to look any better! Thank you god bless

Absolutely horrible, and I'm a Male so me and my sons haircut should have been easy, the middle eastern woman left both of our haircuts totally uneven and long hairs all over where it should be short, now I have to pay for someone else to fix it, wont be returning.
