Everything about SHi Salon is pure elegance. But what I love the most is the transformation. Owner, Marie, has satisfied literally every hairstyle I've had from a short pixie cut to long blonde hair and now - a natural look - and to see how long my hair will grow ... just a hair goal of mine. With her expertise in healthy hair growth, yes, she's a master, but it's bigger than that. When I visit SHi Salon, it hits my soul. She has built a relationship with my hair and teaches me how to style my hair when I get home because transparency moment: I do NOT know how to style my hair outside of a ponytail and bun. From the products she uses and styling accessories, I always feel super empowered to try the styles she taught me. I'm so grateful for her. Parking is available on and off the street and when you arrive - knock. I highly recommend Marie! If you're looking for a stylist to grow with - she's the one for you! She showcased her amazingness all over the world - Fashion Week to Magazine covers - Marie is heaven sent!

My hairstylist Yana Smith was excellent I felt at home when I walked in the shop the hospitality was great being surrounded by beautiful black women. I was very happy with my results.

Shi Salon is the best salon in the St. Louis area. Owner Marie Simone has been my hair stylist since the 90s , and I'm still always happy with her service. She's creative, professional and an expert in her field. I love the way she takes special care of my hair. She's an excellent hair stylist! Shi's the best!!!!

I really love this salon. My first visit was amazing and love the work that the beauticians does. But i wish i had not gone back after noticing that my hair on one side has come out. I got a relaxer in the back of my hair only a month prior to coming back but I did not get the front relaxed at the time. I wanted just the front relaxed this time around but mind you the beautician said i needed both top and back relaxed after telling me the appointment before that my hair was damaged.. So I trusted that. She knew when i came in last so she should had known that it was too soon. I should had listen to my first mind and not had her do it. Now on the right side of my hair is damaged further than it already was. It looked beautiful before this last visit. But now its a space in the back of my bob where my hair is broken off.. I wish i would have let the owner do my hair instead . She seem more knowledgeable. But I won't be returning. The last straw on why i won't return is the young lady that did my hair rubbed me the wrong way when I asked could she use rods on my hair rather than heat on the next appointment. The response I received was shocking she said Really you already get relaxers why does that matter weather she use heat or not.. I laughed it off but really pissed that she would say that. That was the last straw because You should never address a client on their hair when your a paying customer. I won't say her name but I would hope in the future that she would get more training and listen to her customers request.
