I went here for the first time on 8/9/24. It was amazing! The staff is all smiles and laughs. I went in with this giant messy bun on my head and walked out looking like a rock star! I made an appointment for my 3 year old son tomorrow. If you want a quality cut with a great atmosphere, this is your place! Heads up though gratuity is cash or check. My gal McKenzie also has venmo but I’m not sure if they all do.

Leanna is not only a wonderful hairstylist but an amazing human being who works miracles with kiddos. She's like the Ceaser Milan (the dog whisperer) of tiny humans & has been fantastic with my 4 year old boy. He has some sensory needs & hates getting his haircut or hair getting on him. She's not only kind, caring, & talented but also patient. She works with my kiddo & takes her time with him. She talks to him about his interests like video games etc. Before cutting his hair she always takes the time to get down on his level & talk to him eye to eye & just start a conversation with him & talk to him. Then she'll ask if it's ok to cut his hair & she explains what she'll do & ask if he's comfortable with that. She respects his wishes when he says no clippers etc. His hair always looks great after seeing Leanna. This is the 2nd time we've seen her. I highly recommend her. She's a gem.

Awful service! I have short hair and the guy didn’t know how to style my hair , he didn’t even know how to use hairdryer and the iron ! What a waste of time and money ! I ended up standing up from the because the guy was lost and confused! Extremely expensive for a bad service 😖

I chose this salon because I needed color correction and this place claims to specialize in it. My appointment was with Frank. I had black hair color on the ends of my hair and red from my roots down to the black. So I explained that he could cut most of the black off because I wanted to go blonde. He said I can never have blonde hair because my hair is too dark. I told him that I had blonde hair before. He suggested a test strip so I agreed. My hair turned blonde. I told him I wanted my hair blonde all over and he said no. He told me he would do some highlights. I asked him if he could do highlights with brown lowlights and he said no that's too much and brown doesn't cover red. Then he told me that I needed to make another appointment to do the highlights because we don't have enough time today. Then he said I don't even want to do this. At that point I said I'll just go somewhere else and he said no that's ok I'll do it. I'll just have to do my mental gymnastics that day. Obviously I didn't go back. I was very disappointed with the whole experience I don't understand how he claims to be a color expert and doesn't even know that brown covers red. He was very unprofessional and came off as lazy.

I will start by saying that as soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with smiles and good energy. The front desk staff goes far beyond their duties to make you feel at home and welcomed. The atmosphere is very comfortable, relaxed and professional. I have never been to a salon and felt so welcome and attended too. My artist and magical Cosmetologist, Renee Allingham, is hands down THE best. I have gotten many different styles of hair throughout my 40+ years on this earth, some were beautiful some weren't. However, no matter how beautiful the results I never felt "pretty"....until she touched my hair. I never in my life could look into a mirror and honestly say I "felt" beautiful, until now. I smile when I look in the mirror now, and she gave me that. More than just a hair style, she gave me the confidence to love myself and see beauty where I've never experienced it before. So thank you SO much Renee for being so understanding, meticulous and kind. Thank you for showing me how to love myself. I love you. I will never go anywhere else. Shortinos is the place to go for everything you need.

DO NOT let Kaileigh color your hair. I arrived at the salon with several photos of how I wanted my hair colored. I wanted a simple SUBTLE highlight; nothing chunky or unnatural looking. My hair is literally orange and the highlights don’t even go all the way to my root. And the bottom of my hair is darker than the top. I contacted her directly and asked if she would fix me hair. She stated she would, but not for at least a week, as she was busy. I paid to have my hair colored and I’m embarrassed to even go to work like this. I should be entitled to a full refund.
