I saw Donovan today for facial today, wow, what an experience, his facial massage technique is amazing😍, his fingers were dancing doing the massaging on my face to the rhythm of the classical music he was playing in the background, the atmosphere was so relaxing, smelled so good, and the neck massage was awesome, I feel so relaxed and happy. I received the service as a gift from family it was an amazing gift🙏🏼 thank you so much💕. I highly recommended.

Donovan fit me in last minute and made my eyebrows beautiful again. He asked questions to make sure we were on the same page about what I wanted, and executed perfectly. I am so glad I stumbled in to SHY and look forward to making it my new brow place.

Sarry was warm and welcoming and got me in and out in 20 minutes! Experience was great, you can tell this place is run by professionals. Easily one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had and most efficient to boot!

Had my first waxing experience here and it was quite pleasant. My estheticaian, Donovan, was not only quick and effective, but he was a wonderful conversationalist. My time was up and my skin was clean before I knew it. I absolutely do and will recommend Shy to any and everyone.

I had the shy glow facial with Donavan and omg my skin was looking so glowy and hydrated ! It was much needed for my skin to get pampered and get the care it needs. It was such a relaxing experience where you go to a dedicated room for facials, which is super clean, organized, and the lights are dimmed. Its very vibey with a dim colored light, for my session it was red and it was perfect. As a mom, I need that type of relaxation. You really feel the products working as he works through the steps but the exfoliating part feels subtle tingling and not too much. I highly recommend ! I will definitely be back to do it again!

Sarry is so talented with doing hair. I’ve never had extensions because of my sensory issues but he made sure to find something for me that felt like i had nothing in my hair! Not to mention the amazing color he gave me! Also, Donavan gave me one of the best facials I’ve ever had!

I was able to get into Shy Salon for a Brazilian and chest wax today. Donovan helped me out with a complete refresh. He was very kind a quick with his motions making it as painless as possible. The vibe of the staff and salon were so great, I could not recommend them more.

Haley is great!! I got a bikini, stomach and arm pit wax and she did amazing. Didn’t hurt at all! I also did a signature facial with her and my skin is so clear and glowing. Great personality and really knows a lot about skin. Will keep going to her! 10/10

Hunter gave me the best hair cut of my life! He really listened to what I wanted & executed it perfectly. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair and definitely feel like I have found "my" salon. Hunter is incredibly nice and easy to talk to, as are the other members of the staff. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and welcome, and the salon environment is easy-going, inclusive, & friendly. Love having this place in the neighborhood and definitely recommend giving them a try!

10/10! I had a haircut with Sarry and a lash lift with Donovan. Both were so kind! A past haircut at a different salon left my hair looking a bit thin, and Sarry was still able to give me a beautiful haircut and help me make a plan for growing it out to be full and thick again. :)

I just recently moved to Chicago back in August of ‘23 and searching for a hair stylist was STRESSFUL. However, when I found this salon and my stylist Sarry, I knew I was in good hands. I will NEVER go to another salon, Sarry is by far my favorite hair stylist in Chicago!
