The ladies here are so nice and amazing. My 16 year old had her first experience in a salon getting a silk press or any kind of salon service and she had such a good time. She was nervous and the stylist made her feel so comfortable. And she looks absolutely stunning, not that she wasn’t before.

I loved the experience and the shop’s easy booking site. Although I think this shop is for women who already have heat trained hair or perm. I believe the only product that was used on my hair was heat protector spray no oil or grease or anything to moisturize my hair. I also feel as if my hair doesn’t do well with heat protector spray and it’s not for everybody’s hair. I had lots of fly aways and my $100 silk press only lasted 2 hours (went straight home). It was so poofy by night that it was impossible to wrap. She gave me good advice during my appointment on some natural hair care products and I enjoyed the steam treatment but I have to be honest, I feel like I should have just gotten braids or something else done.

I just love the atmosphere of the shop. I always leave uplifted and CUTE! The silk press with curls is my go to and it is perfection everytime. Chef's kiss to the ladies at Silk Press Beauty Bar, especially the Silk Queen Meek!

After years of looking for the right stylist to give my 14 year old daughter a silk press. We finally found the place!! Meek had my daughter smiling ear to ear as we left. We got in the car and she told me we finally found the place!! Very professional and done in great time! Highly recommend!!!!

Beautiful and professional quality service in a relaxing environment! I am very pleased with the service I received and knowledge on hair care to grow my healthy natural hair. My Deluxe Silk Press was wonderful and felt so amazing with scalp a massage to stimulate my hair growth. My hair trim brought my hair back to life cutting of all of dead end while still maintaining my length. I also purchased the BFB "FLEEK-EDGE" edge control so that my edges will be on Fleek! with *Superior Hold* I'm excited and can't wait as I'm going to add some highlights and lowlights to my new style! I had given up on finding a hairstylist that actually knew how to handle 4c low porosity hair. I’m so glad this gem caught my eye! Meek is excellent! She is patient and takes her time with my hair. She’s knowledgeable on how to care for hair with low porosity. The steam treatment is heavenly!! So glad she is in this area. She also values your time, and only books one client at a time. I pray this spirit of excellence, respect and value of client’s time, and love for natural hair spreads throughout other salons in our community.

I was visiting the area and was looking for a hairstylist that could do my thick type 4 hair. I read the reviews and it looked like this was the place. I just left my appointment and it did not disappoint. Kelema was my hairstylist and she is awesome. Great conversation and awesome skills. I love my hair ❤️. This is somewhere I would recommend to others and would return if I’m in town.

We are locked in here! I wanted a purple color so badly, but without any bleach. It turned out beautifully. I can see the color with or without light, and they did it while keeping my hair healthy. 10/10 recommended

I have received several services from Meeka. She is excellent at what she does. I have only been going to her for a short time. But my daughter referred me to her. I love her work! I will give her a 5-star rating for her expertise. I recently received the tape-in services and she did an excellent job. I will recommend her to any one that has textured hair.

Meeks House of Hair is THE BEST!! Meek took me in at the worst part of my natural hair journey. And 2 years later, my hair is banging! When I'm here, I'm home.
