I always have a good experience at Silk Spa. I've been going for about 4 years and they never disappoint! I've seen Zach the last few times and he is fantastic! He will have your back/neck pain disappear. You can't go wrong with any of their staff but Zach is great!

I honestly hate to see other bad reviews because my experience was great. I was a walk-in and I never felt better! The massage was 10/10 and I will be back!! Everyone was so nice and I feel like the amount of work they do? They def deserve a tip! These people really helped my back and I have been having back problems for 2 months now and for the first time yesterday I felt like myself again.

Recommended by a friend a long time ago, I finally had the chance to try this place with my husband. We both got Swedish massages and absolutely loved it! The therapists were very professional. Danny worked on mine, and he was fantastic. I usually don’t like too much pressure during a massage, so I asked him to go lighter. He adjusted perfectly to my preference. When he noticed a couple of sore spots, he mentioned that applying a little more pressure there would make a big difference afterwards. He was absolutely right! I left feeling relaxed, lighter on my feet, and with much less tension. Lisa worked on my husband, and he said her massage was phenomenal! If I could, I’d give this place 6 stars.

Stopped by recently on a whim without appointment, haven’t been there in a while And because of that, you never know who’s gonna greet you at the door. Luckily, I was greeted by Zach. Wasn’t sure about him at first (boy was I wrong!) started out with one hour session,15 minutes into the massage I had to go for the 90 minute session. (Worth it) His techniques are very unique. I’ve had many massages in the past, but his was different (in a good way). A soothing combination of mild and firm pressures, with long strokes using his hands ,thumbs, and fingertips. after many times being on a massage table,it was so refreshing to experience something new. I will definitely be returning soon. Thanks Zach!

Here's A TIP... Don't waste your time! Called ahead of time to reserve a spot for me and my sister. Appointment scheduled at 3:30PM EST, Walked in and stood in lobby for three minutes before ringing bell to be greeted. Requested separate rooms (for reasons I will mention below). Instead they wanted us in the same room (no big deal). Room we entered is right off the lobby to the right (first door). We immediately undressed and were getting ready to lay on the table, and get massages. By the way a 90 minute massage is $100 per person =$1.11 per minute. (I live in Chicago, and get a massage and facial combo for $130.00) Overall the massages were unenjoyable Both techs were all over the place no consistency in the massage (didn't do the same from one side to the next) Felt like just a rub down of oils on our bodies. Walked out the room twice (to greet others walking in). Left door open so anyone walking in could see directly at my body on the table (when asked to close the door the guy tech stated "its open so it doesn't get too hot". Requested a new person, as massage was unenjoyable, such a language barrier, no one there to really understand what we were saying. Was replaced with a lady, who was better but did not understand anything so she was too soft, and did not provide a deep tissue. SHE ALSO WAS ON HER PHONE DURING MY MASSAGE! When the dreadful massage was over and it was time to pay, the total came out at $206.00 ($200.00 for the two 90 min massages and a 3% service charge for using my card). I signed the receipt and did not leave a tip. Upon me putting my card back in my wallet the lady who serviced my sister and took care of the transaction looked at the receipt and said where is the tip. I said I did not enjoy it so I am not providing a tip. LANGUAGE BARRIER She pulls out google translator and shows me the screen "Required tip" I stated, no Tips are OPTIONAL. She proceeded to have me speak it into her cellular device. I did and she again stated Tip for 2 people. as she continued to go back and forth and I politely left the establishment and will NEVER RETURN.

Idk how they got 4.4 stars if you believe a review believe this one. It stinks like they never washed the sheets covering the little face hole. And they keep opening the door kid massages while your body is exposed. Etc

Had one of the worst experiences ever at Silk Spa. My partner and I booked a couples massage. Took them 15 minutes before starting the massage. The massage was terrible – the manager the one giving the massage it was clear they weren’t even qualified to do it properly. It felt like they had no idea what they were doing, making it an extremely uncomfortable and disappointing session. After the massage, I spoke with the owner via phone, who did absolutely nothing to address the issue. All I got was an insincere ‘sorry for your experience.’ To top it all off, after the massage I found out that he asked his staff for me to pay for partners massage and did nothing to try and resolve this unacceptable service that I recieved. Unprofessional, not clean, rude, and a complete waste of time. Never coming back to this place. I would suggest to not waste your time or money.

I walked in to to get a 1 hour massage focused on just my neck, shoulders and lower back because I sit in a chair for over 12 hours a day at work and I was starting to ache. This was absolutely the worst massage experience I have ever had. She kept ramming her elbows up and down my spine and I asked her to stop, but she kept on. It wasn’t until I raised my voice for the 5th time that she finally stopped. Then, she switched to just rubbing her forearm on my midback- which I understand is done in a regular massage… but that is ALL she did. For the rest of the hour. The brief moment she used her actual hands, her nails were scratching me. The elbowing was so painful and my back pain is 10x worse now. She didn’t massage my lower back at all, and by that point I was reluctant to say anything- scared that she would do more harm than good. Overall, a bad experience. No technique. No fluidity to movements. No real focus on any area. I have had a heating pad on my back continuously since I left there. I am in real pain. I would not recommend this place

We liked the massage but felt scammed since we were told one price over the phone and, when we were going to pay, we were told a different price. They have a menu with prices at the counter, that matches what we were told over the phone. However, the lady told us that those prices were outdated and charged us more. It used to be a great place, but we are not coming back, that didn’t feel right.

Just had one of the best massages of my life - and I’ve had a lot! I was so relaxed that I was certain the masseuse must have gone over and given me 90 minutes instead of 60. Nope, just 60 incredibly relaxing minutes! Mix of Swedish and Thai techniques which is perfect for what I wanted. Thai techniques I’m sure could be skipped if that’s your preference. I asked for medium pressure and got in between pure relaxation and some muscle tension relief. If I’d asked for firm or deep tissue, I’m sure a lot would have gotten worked out. The masseuse was also very friendly and I felt extremely comfortable with her. I don’t put in the effort to review often, but the quality of service deserved it!

It was so hot/stuffy that it was hard to breathe. The massage was ok (a mix of shiatsu and massage). The other staff not working were so loud in the room next to me that the therapist left the room to tell them to be quiet. It wasn’t the relaxing Mother’s Day treat I was looking for.

I can't even put in to words show happy I am with my experience here, but I'm going to try. Lol My partner and I treated ourselves to a couples massage for our 8th anniversary, the room was quiet and the tables were very comfortable. We were paired with Tony and Mia, and they really took the time to work on the knots in our shoulders and legs. They were so professional, and had a gentle touch when moving my body or underwear. In every moment of our experience it felt thoughtful, they did great work. I hope they know how much we loved the experience, we can't stop talking about it. I want to come back every month!

This was the most relaxing experience that I have ever had. My fiance and I got the couples massage with the aromatherapy and hot stones. The music and ambiance made it so easy to relax. I loved the fact that I got to pick from a wide variety of fragrance oils and that they applied just the right amount of pressure during the massage. Will be going back soon.

Visited this place on Sunday good location and was actually empty. I called around 10:45 for a noon appointment got there no wait . Immediately I had to let them scan the Groupon first which I thought was weird but no problem. Place seemed clean and bright but a few things led me to the amount of stars I gave : Pros: male masseuse was effective and did actually try to work out kinks and knots. He used ample amount of oil and also used the hot stones and worked on a particular area i pointed out . Good value for the price . Cons: there were no paper towels in the restroom and I found it odd that my masseuse used it right before me and walked out abs sat down ( I hoped /assumed he used hand sanitizer ) . The masseuse sneezed into the air without covering his mouth as both of his hands were on my back. He then proceeded to sniffle the rest of my massage which made me a bit uncomfortable since I felt it could drip on me I would have preferred he stopped and just went to blow his nose. The second sneeze he opened the door and sneezed into the hallway . He also applied a bit too much pressure it hurt but I let him continue bc I needed the extra work in the area but my back was left with actual bruises the next day . All in all it was a good massage ( very focused ) but I likely won’t return . The bathroom episode made me think of he doesn’t wash his hands right in front of me, they may not was the blankets I used to lay in and cover with.

We did the couples massage with hot stones and aromatherapy and it was AMAZING!!! That hour goes fast when you are relaxing. It was my fiance's first time and he rates it 5 stars. We would definitely come back!!!! Thank you Silk Spa 💚💚💚

We saw a coupon on Groupon for a couples massage. It was okay but not as relaxing as i hoped.. The masseuses were talking the whole time, and they massaged very aggressively.. We were being jolted around a lot. They also did an odd leg pull at the end where they pulled each of your legs across your body by your foot and yanked really hard at it. My boyfriends lower back has been in pain ever since. We won’t be back.

Wonderful pricing, especially for Buckhead. Jipped me a few minutes but still good
