Called to schedule an appointment and was told no need to and can just work in. Then I walked in and wait for over an hour and still not being called. People jumping lines and it was ok. This shop really doesn’t value other people’s time.

One area of hair was sticking up a bit. Instead of using water to get it down before cutting, he proceeds to blowtorch the area with the blow dryer at the hottest setting, holding the device less than an inch from my scalp while furiously combing my hair downwards for a good 20+ seconds. A couple of days later, someone asks me what happened to my hair. I find out that the area where he went scorched earth on was completely bald .. and stayed that way over the course of the year. Hair refused to grow there .. and I ended up going to a dermatologist to treat the issue. Not only that, it also caused additional patches of hair to temporarily fall out. His little maneuver apparently caused a immune system reaction, that thankfully eventually resolved itself. Watch out, barbers here don't treat hair with much care.

I asked for a straight hair cut and for them to take off 5 inches. They proceeded to take of 7 inches even after I told them not too and even showed them where I wanted them to cut, and without telling me, they curved(?) it so now it looks extremely choppy.

My go to for haircuts in Austin. I get a basic haircut once a year, cut about 4-5 inches off each time, sometimes get layers and other times not. I ask for Trisha, she is not there every day so I usually call in advance to make an appointment. She has open availability usually so not hard to get in quick. Always satisfied with her work! She really cares about the health of your hair too.

I always bring my brother here to cut his hair and its a hit or miss. Sometimes they cut way too much off or they actually do a decent job. I brought my brother in as usual and this time I was getting hair cut too. We both showed our reference photo to the people cutting our hair and they completely went off references. I assume they just heard “cut it short” and just went what they knew how to cut. My brother was supposed to get a two block style but it was layered choppy. It looked like what you would give to a 10 year old. I wanted my hair shoulder length with curtain bangs. Instead I got a bob which I did not want at all. If you just want a quick, simple cut then this place does the job but if you want any “modern” hair cuts then you need to explain very carefully to them. Probably wont cut my hair here again

I just had such a great haircut from Todd that now I only want Todd to cut my hair!! Ive been to many cutters he did a very good job!! Others do not do as much as he does. I'm not extremely good looking and can't get that much done with my hair but I felt much better and really great after my haircut!! I'm only coming here now to get my hair cut even though there were places more nearby me!! I actually didn't even read the reviews this time and just decided to get a cut today!! Just came by again for my hair cut!! Today I forgot my wallet lucky I called ahead to ask they take apple and Google pay so I was able to pay on my phone!! Just got everything done!!

Amazing staff and service. I was a walk in at 9am. At 9:20 I was done and my hair cut looked great. Vin was my barber. You can’t beat their price for the quality either. Appointment is preferred here but they won’t turn you away if they have time. I’m going back in 2 weeks.

I came without an appointment to fix my son's messy haircut from another barber. He did really well in fixing the fade and made everything neater. $16 for a 12 year old haircut. We will be back.

Today I came in for an appointment to get long, face-framing layers. My family has gone to see Hau for as long as I can remember. He consistently does a wonderful job even though I’ve changed up my hairstyle over time. I no longer live in TX and still come in to get my hair cut here when I’m in town. I want to gatekeep this but can’t recommend him enough. He charges a very reasonable price, and I always love the result.
