Both myself, my daughter, and her boyfriend's mom went to Silver Salon for hair appointments. Initially, I was the first customer and received a very decent cut a few months back and the staff was so friendly and nice during that visit, so when my 16 year old requested a balayage, I said let's add you to my appointment and talk to to someone beforehand to make sure they know EXACTLY the cut and color she wanted. We sent pictures and filled out the huge form they sent for consultation. We spoke with someone over the phone a number of times to guarantee services and was quoted at $311 before the appointment. Her boyfriend's mom also requested an appointment the same day and went in for initial consultation before because she had previously colored hair so she wanted a test strand done to make sure they can achieve the desired look. Long story short with her is she was quoted at $200 for service for a bayalage and left with highlights and spent $400 for (with a 20% tip because she knows how the service industry works and even though it was nothing like she asked, service was rendered). Jump to my and my daughter's appointment on the 31st. I went in for my consult for a chemical straightening(which turns out, they don't even do but then how am I going for a consult for something they don't provide???) and shag with bangs while she went for an edgy short cut that was supposed to be a mushroom ash blonde at the ends and goes to her natural at the top so it is lower maintenance for someone so young. They instead gave her highlights, not a balayage at all and the bleach job is absolutely horrible. There is blond all the way to her roots in some places, missed patches, stripes, uneven tones, hard bleach lines, and the color of the blonde is no where near what she wanted, showed her, or asked for. The cut itself is a 90s Jennifer Anniston friends throwback with some blonde highlights thats about half an inch longer on one side than the other in some spots. We continued to say it was too long and she wanted more layering since we have curly hair. My shag is uneven and not even close to what I asked for. Then, we get tired of dealing with the back and forth so we go to pay and instead of my quoted amount, it came to around $430. When I brought this up, I was told my cut was not the $56 I was told (when I arrived because I saw someone else instead of my original styist) but it was $78, my daughters "complimentary" hair treatment for first time customers wasn't taken off and because my hair was considered a "transformation cut" There would be an added cost. We went back and forth over this for a while and I ended up leaving there spending $342. I was later messaged and told the $29 for my daughters hair treatment would be reimbursed to my card but neither of us are happy with our cuts and her colors is completely messed up. Normally, I dye her hair and do a very good job but didn't feel comfortable doing a balayage as I've never done one before. I could have done this myself and 10 times better than the final result achieved for less than a quarter of the cost. I do not feel like this is professional in any way and doubt we will return due to this awful experience. Now I have to figure out how to fix my daughter's hair Edited to add: Once the owner saw the review, she reached out to me directly and we have a plan in place to correct the issues with my cut and my daughter's cut and color. I am ecstatic to know a business owner has such integrity and isn't throwing excuses around or trying to fault anyone in this matter. Things happen and as long as my daughter is happy with the final result after the next session, I'll be happy. I will update based on final results and interactions. I also want to say how amazing it is to have her come in on a non business day to correct things for us.

What an experience to say the least! I’ve never been in a salon that practiced such an attention to detail! From the tour, to the friendliness of the staff, the flow of the space and curation of products; I’m inspired and hooked. I came in today for a dry cut from Alondra (dealing with breakage from a bad blonde dye job) she revived my hair and brought it back to life while maintaining my hair’s integrity. She also educated me on proper product usage and how to mindfully take care of my hair. I’ve never prebooked an appointment before and made sure I did with her for 6 weeks later! Highly recommend

Teresa is an expert stylist! She’s given me the best haircut/highlights I’ve had in years. Teresa is kind, fun, and efficient. Plus, she gives great head massages during the shampooing process. Total pro!

Amazing salon. First it’s only 20 minutes from my house. Greeted with a choice of hot or cold drinks and a goody bag with some freebie. Place looks spotless. The shampoo station was the most comfortable 1 that I’ve sat at. Brittany was my hairdresser and she was a wonderful conversationalist. We had sooo much in common even though I was more than twice her age. She listened to hair desires and my hair looks and feels great And she suggested my next appointment for 8 to 12 weeks out. Very fair pricing.

First and foremost, the service was amazing, the people were amazing, and outcome was amazing. It 100% exceeded my expectations. However, it was extremely disappointing and angering to come to the end of a 6 hour appointment to be told that I was going to be paying almost TRIPLE the amount that I was told. Because of how unexpected it was, I didn't leave a tip. I truly did feel horrible about it, but all at the same time, what else do you expect when you tell someone that they're gonna be paying under $500 but then hit him with a number closer to $1,000. That was 10000% a rip off. While I'd recommend this place for the service, that was uncalled for. I wouldn't recommend it for anything else.

Haley is fantastic. When I go in, my hair looks good because she is my stylist, and I go to her on a regular basis, but it needs color or cut, etc., when I leave it always looks amazing! She has my hair looking and feeling gorgeous, I've never known anyone like her. She even assists me with other things, is sweet and wonderful to talk to. I've developed a relationship with her anyone looking for a stylist longs for, and I am so grateful.

I had an amazing experience today. Alondra was so sweet and my hair turned out exactly how I wanted it. The staff were also super professional and it was nice seeing everyone help each other. The shorter blond girl (I didn’t catch her name) who assisted Alondra with coloring my hair was just as amazing. I plan on coming back and making this my home salon.

Natalie did an amazing job! She took her time and listened to exactly what I was looking for. She also was able to use her judgement when I didn't know what type of cut would look best and I ended up absolutely loving my hair when I left. I'll definitely be booking with her again!

Olivia was a great stylist! I appreciated her thoroughness to understand how I treat my hair on a normal day, and her attentiveness to ask along the way if I wanted her do anything differently. Omg!!! I had an AMAZING first experience here! I felt super welcomed and so taken care of the whole time. Ruthie was the cutest and listened to what I wanted and delivered honey. All the staff were very helpful and informative of their products and offered some great deals. Highly recommend :)

Great first experience! I loved the new client kit and the free deep conditioning treatment. Another thing I noticed was transparency in pricing. There’s nothing worse than sticker shock after the service is performed. The price for a haircut is about what you’d expect for a high end salon like that and the quality matches. Ruthie did a great job and was very sweet. She understood what I wanted, suggested a few things that made my haircut even better, and made it a great experience. I will definitely be back.

The deep conditioning treatment and scalp massage was incredible! The salon is pristine from the outside to the inside, and all staff members were friendly and welcoming.
