Diane DaCosta is a master cutter, colorist, and stylist of textured, natural hair. She knows what she is doing and also uses great products. I also love the Simplee Beautiful Dry Gloves. Wash day game changer--they really help maintain the curl pattern when drying your hair, setting you up for good product application and fast air drying or diffusing.

My hair was thinning terribly on the sides. After several cuts, special conditioning, and taking her advice, my hair has never looked better. I have been getting compliments left and right. I also enjoy the natural cut she gives me…especially like the little stylish curly sideburns.

Come and and get your CBD for your pets I got mine from here and omg it works for my Jack Russell pit mix. She is nutz! They also have human stuff too that is CBD. Come by friendly staff and a lot to pick from.

Dumb expensive and she doesn't even know how to do a fade but will charge you for it shamelessly. Fairly quick cuts and good with curls on top but, don't ask for anything more unless you'd like to be dreaming about getting that money back. All in all a generous 2 stars.

I am very happy with the natural 'shape it' haircut that I received at Simplee Beautiful Curly Texture Bar. Diane is a skilled stylist and I especially like the way she tapers the cut. She uses shears for a clean, polished look. The hair products that she recommended helped my hair to grow and help me to maintain my hair in between visits. I have gotten a lot of compliments on my hair since I started coming here. Thank you, Diane for helping me to discover a style that suits me and that I am happy with.

Love it. Got one of my best hair cuts ever here. Best products I have ever used. My senior citizen thinning hair has ceased falling out. I've got finicky hair that folks almost never "get". I'm almost never satisfied or I cannot maintain the look I get when I leave. Not so here. Diane delivers a flattering cut I can feel good about all day, everyday. Good conversation too. LOL. Great location. Cute shop.

Once again I had a wonderful experience at Simplee Beautiful Salon! Eduardo, the receptionist greeted me with a smile and followed all proper Covid protocols. The space was spotless as always. Diane gave me a wonderful trim and styled my hair in flat twists to perfection! If you are looking for a salon that has a wealth of knowledge all things hair and excellent customer service, look no further.

Simplee Horrible!! I went there twice (fool me twice) and had 2 terrible experiences. But, this last one took the cake. 1st visit: 2 weeks ago I asked for a “glam wave twist out” with clip in extensions added. Diane, the owner recommended a hair company for the extensions and I followed her recommendation. Prior to my appointment I asked Diane if the hair texture of the extensions were correct for my hair. She said yes. Appointment day approaches: Time of the appointment - 10am. When did I leave the shop? 9pm!! She twisted, took it out, re-twisted, looked left, looked right, up and down and basically seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. Diane’s reasoning was that the extension hair didn’t match my texture. I paid $261 dollars and left out feeling dissatisfied with the style. (Also her attitude was horrid) however, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and returned 2 weeks later. *************** 2nd visit: Today. Now this is the part!! This time around I asked for a Sade ponytail (as it states on her site) which is basically a low ponytail that is braided with extension hair. I will let the pictures talk for themselves. I paid $125!! Again, she blamed the braiding hair, she blamed my hair length and everything else except her lack of skill. $125 and 3.5 hours later and voila!! (Lucky for her Google doesn’t allow posting pics for reviews- go to Yelp to see the pictures.) I hope this helps someone save their money. Client beware!!!

This was my first visit to a salon since the la rona, and so worth it. Not only did I get a great conditioning, cut and do, I got lessons on caring for my particular kind of hair. Although it was my first time visit, the vibe felt like a homecoming!

Diane DeCosta is a true “PRO”. It was a pleasure to have a place for me to take members of my family to get their hair done — especially during the pandemic. All health precautions and CDC guidelines were followed and we felt very comfortable in Diane’s salon. Everyone was pleased with their beautiful healthy hair, locs’ maintenance, and expert haircuts.
