First time coming here and Lindsey was fantastic! I had a color done in my hometown that left my hair blocky/patchy/not blended. Lindsey was able to squeeze me in for a custom color to correct everything. She was super nice and incredibly thorough in addressing the areas of concern. Would definitely recommend!

I'm so happy I decided to go with Simply Stated for my bridal hair! Katlyn was so easy to work with and got the exact style I wanted for me, my mom, and two of my bridesmaids! We did a trial first and I originally wanted an updo, I later texted Katlyn saying I might now want it half up and half down. She quickly assured me it wouldn't be any problem and we'll get it right on the day of the wedding and that's exactly what she did! It stayed in all night and I had so many compliments on it! Thank you so much Katlyn! I will definitely be using Simply Stated for any future events when I need my hair styled!

Simply Stated Hair Studio, much like its owner Kristi, is an absolute gem! Mary’s expertise with curly hair is unparalleled. After years of searching, I finally found my Pittsburgh curl expert. I left the salon armed with special styling techniques to manage my natural kinky coils. The intricate color work, thoughtful dimensions, and strategic layering to complement my curls were exceptional. The welcoming atmosphere and talented stylists at Kristi’s salon make it an essential must-visit. 🌟💇‍♀️

Won’t go anywhere else!! I absolutely love the atmosphere the ladies bring to this salon. You feel pampered but not uncomfortable. I started coming to see Kristi and Mary in 2017 when it was just the two of them in a small studio a few doors down. I’ve never had my hair done anywhere else since! I trust all these ladies with their creativity and talent!!

Lindsey is the best!! I’ve been going to her at simply stated since April 2022 when I was looking for a salon to do my highlights for my wedding. I always leave my appointments feeling educated and knowing more than when I came in. She listens to what I want and explains how to get the colors I’m looking for. She’s really easy going and good to talk to even if you’re not Someone who likes to talk. You can tell she loves what she does and is motivated to try new things and learn new techniques. The salon itself is beautiful and is comfortable, the washing sinks are the most comfortable sinks I’ve ever sat in with good neck support. I love everything about this salon and I’m not sure why I didn’t write this review sooner. I’ve also had facial services and tanning services here before and enjoyed them as well. The pictures I’m attaching are from some of the color services Lindsey has done for me over the last couple of years.

I found Delaney Nuzzo through her insta page and went to her for a free consultation to see if she could help color correct a previous job. She booked me on a Sunday and dedicated 8 hours (yes, 8 HOURS) to turn my brassy highlights into a lived in dimensional bronde. MIRACLE! I was so happy with my hair and trust her implicitly to get my dark hair to blonde safely! Cannot reccommend Simply Stated Hair Studio enough! The space is so light and comfortable and everyone there is so kind!

I have FINALLY found my forever hairstylist in Delaney!! I have been her client for 2 years and she is AMAZING. She really listens to what you want and takes so much pride in her work. She also becomes truly invested in you as a person. Not to mention she is the sweetest human being on the planet. All of the salon staff are so friendly and the salon itself is adorable! I highly, highly recommend Simply Stated Hair Studio!!! You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been going to see Mary for almost ten years now and Mary and Kristi are simply the best! I once had a nightmare where I went somewhere else and they botched my hair, so I took that as a sign to go nowhere else. Mary and Kristi even did my wedding hair and makeup, and slayed it. I’ve been seeing Mary at Simply Stated since 2019 when she helped save a botched haircut I received at another salon. Not only is Mary an incredibly skilled stylist and colorist, she’s a lovely person and I always look forward to being in her chair. Kristi, Simply Stated’s owner, has created such a comfortable and welcoming salon. It’s like a magical beauty oasis in my own neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Simply Stated is absolutely wonderful! I always enjoy my visits. All of the staff and stylists are absolutely wonderful, such a positive and welcoming environment. I have been seeing Veronica for the past few years and I highly recommend her. She always makes me feel comfortable throughout the appointment, from discussing my goals and ideas for the appointment to asking about my day. I have a hard time knowing what colors and cuts would look best on me and Veronica is always willing to talk through options and ideas. I also have fine hair that I have often felt insecure about and Veronica has recommended different hair care products to meet my hair goals. I always feel very safe with my hair in her capable and talented hands. I have always left her chair feeling confident, comfortable, and happy with my hair! I recommend Veronica and Simply Stated as often as I can.

We travel from the North Hills to the South Hills for Delaney. I took a chance on Instagram looking for a new stylist and have not looked back. I have trust in Delaney that even I don’t understand. I believe in her 💯- I receive more hair compliments now than I ever have. She never disappoints. My daughters have also fell in love with her and the salon vibe. Delaney is our girl but simply stated is a salon above the rest. All the ladies go above and beyond for their clients. 👏🏼🤩♥️

I showed up to my appointment with a ton of inspo photos and no idea how to get to what I wanted. Natalie explained how the new color would sit on what I had previously and made sure I was completely comfortable with the change I was about to go through! She talked me through what kind of dye would be best for my hair needs and I felt super confident in her chair. I can’t wait to come back for a touch up! <333

Simply Stated is nestled in a cute, aesthetically pleasing space by Brentwood Towne Square. The owner, Kristi, has created a beautiful, relaxing space where clients feel welcomed and appreciated! My stylist, Delaney, is extremely talented! Not only is she easy to talk to & hilarious, she is meticulous & thorough. She always makes sure we are on the same page, explains everything that we will do during my appointment, & always goes over price points before starting.
