I've been getting my haircut with Angela Bailey for oh maybe a year or two now? She's always great, listens to what I'm looking for and is fun to talk to. But this time! Woo hoo! I went in and asked for a "beach cut" because I moved to the beach recently and she gave me the absolute cutest cut ever. I truly don't need to do anything but wake up, run my fingers through it and it is PRECIOUS. I'm also a bit more "mature" in my years and I appreciate that Angela gives me cute, timely cuts without making me look silly. Thank you Angela!

I came here a few times due to high reviews and it was closeby. I asked the salon specifically to recommend a stylist who is experienced with layering Asian hair. I was told all their stylists could do this easily. I tried a few. They were not good. Even the master stylist. No basic understanding of how to layer at all straight Asian hair. Don't know to layer bangs. And charging double of Asian hair saloss with none of the expertise. I flew back to ny first chance I got to correct my style. My old hair stylist was aghast this was done at a salon. I have gotten better hair cuts at $20 places on Devon and Flushing. Salon itself is pleasant and very nicely run. But I do not recommend this place for straight Asian layering.. At least salon should know its weakness. Reply to owner: I have been there and have credit card receipts, email confirmations including an email from you Laura B. I know the names of stylists I was paired with. I am not sure what kind of records you keep that's is on you but do not assume all reviewers are fake just because they are negative. I never asked for refund because you did not post that policy in your salon. Your response says more about your salon than all the positive reviews. You treat any negative feedback as fake and attack any negative customer feedback.

This is the best salon in Andersonville and I’ve been trusting Paige with my cuts and root cover ups for over 5 years, she’s styled me for headshots and my wedding hair. The salon is also a relaxing upbeat fun and welcoming vibe. The R+Co products they use are top notch. Every time I come in the door is a self care moment I look forward to

Wow! Great first experience with Sine Qua Non and Zachary. I was a nervous chatterbox, and he was patient and kind. He gave me exactly the color and cut I had requested. The staff members are so warm and welcoming as well. My hair looks just wonderful and I can’t wait to return. Thanks again!

**Update** Laura must be nervous to claim she didn't fire the manager of this location in favor of providing reasonable accommodation in accordance with ADA law. They say hindsight is 20/20 and she may be regretting all the times she used the R slur to this employee and her language around disability in general. Best to pretend it didn't happen and that this along with any other negative reviews are just trolls and not people unhappy with their experience at Sine. 😊👍 Owner fired a long term Autistic employee after telling them there was a job to come back to upon returning from time off due to health issues. Stay clear if you have a disability that requires accommodation, compassion or knowledge of ada law.

First time client, also likely last time I come. It was just an okay/meh experience for $70. I had a simple haircut that was delayed 20 minutes past my appointment time by the stylist who was working with another client before me. Hair wash was not much more than getting my hair wet for cutting. My requested curtain bags aren’t amazing. I think my stylist was pretty tired by the end of the day, so I don’t blame them. The salon also automatically keeps your credit card info on file and won’t remove your info if you ask them to since they need it in case you book future appointments. Your mileage may vary.

First time/last time client. Despite showing stylist Kiki Jimdar a photo of the cut I wanted, she proceeded to hesitantly do her own thing. I would have another stylist fix, but it's too short as it is. The receptionist was extremely rude and made my entire visit at this salon uncomfortable. He was just standing at the front and folding towels, not making any conversation - Bizzare! She got her tip, but if I'm coming to spend $75 for a mens shortcut, I expect the stylist to not play " pretend." I appreciate transparency. If she had any doubts about successfully executing the type of haircut I wanted, she should have spoken up and referred me to one of your other stylists to cut my hair. For a salon that has such glowing reviews, this honestly kind of surprised me. The end.

I love this salon. Its friendly vibe is a refreshing change from other salons where scowls can be the standard! I especially want to praise Angela B, an incredibly thoughtful and talented stylist who must be adding enchantment dust into my partial highlights because they always look amazing when I walk out of the salon, and for months beyond. I can't recommend Andersonville Sine Qua Non enough for its warm atmosphere and for Angela's exceptional skills!

Staff is great but the owner overworks and underpays them. She says things that makes them uncomfortable. Also just illegally fired one for asking for accommodations. Do not patronize.

This is my second visit here and I have received great service both times. Haylee is so nice and gave me a wonderful cut both times. She really listens to the client’s needs and takes more than enough time explaining and answering questions repeatedly. I definitely will be back!

Zachary is so talented and wonderful and the rest of the staff is too! I've been a color client for over a year now and I love my service here every time.
