Brandyn is awesome! He was very patient with me when I was uncertain about changing my hair style and I left with a great new cut and beautifully lightened roots. And the vibe of Sinister is awesome, love it there everyone is so nice and chill. Definitely found my new stylist!

I used to love this place, they're so inclusive and accommodating. But they've been getting more and more unprofessional. The last several times I've had an appt for a haircut I've waited for 30+ minutes for them to be ready for me, and the last time she had overbooked, which she does often from my understanding, and had to pass me around the office for someone who wanted to take me. And I just showed up for a wax that I booked 2 weeks ago to learn that she quit the day before and I did not receive a call about it. Previously to that I had an appt with her and it was canceled 15 min prior while I was on my way. I can't anymore.

I love getting my nails done by Grace! She’s so sweet and makes me so comfortable getting my nails done. The amount of growth Ive had and how healthy my nails have been since I’ve been going to Grace is unreal. She does all types of styles and is always willing to bust out her own creativity when I’m not sure. I love Grace as my nail tech so well rounded truly. Love the salon always feel so free and comfortable!

Grace is the best nail tech I’ve been to. The salon is so welcoming. Grace does an amazing job with nails. I leave happy after every appointment and the days after my appointment are filled with compliments about my nails and it’s all thanks to Grace. Highly recommend.

I've had a ton of haircuts in 49 years on this mortal coil, but of all the haircuts that have ever graced my dome, I think Blake might have given me the best one I've ever had. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted. Just a lot less than what I had, and something 40s/50s inspired. Not only didn't he hit those notes, but also something that was easy to maintain, modern, and has gotten many comments on the David Lynchian style of it. Blake and his band of merry misfits is the best place to visit if you want to get a haircut from folks who are passionate about seeing you leave feeling more like you!

This place knows color. I took my daughter a few months ago and she really liked the result. I went back with her and scheduled my own appointment. I gave a picture to Rose and she determined the best way to get the cut and color to work with my hair. I can’t be happier!

got a walk-in haircut with nadia and had the best time! my hair turned out better than i could’ve imagined and the vibes at sinister salon are so fun. i felt super comfortable and the music was great and everyone that worked there was very friendly and knowledgeable! i’m excited to come back next time i’m in the area and in need of a hair cut :^)

100/10 recommend!!! I had an appointment with Blake. First of all everyone is so nice in the shop! And Blake was super amazing and listened to exactly what I wanted! Anytime I asked for anything or asked to change something small he did it without hesitation! I literally couldn't be happier with my hair! Especially my first time at an alt salon! The entire time I was there, the whole staff was so welcoming and friendly. I can't say enough great things about this salon!!!

Came in with my girlfriend to get her hair cut, immediately we are welcomed and asked if we had an appointment, once meeting up with her stylist, Blake, they talked style and color, and it was an absolute breeze! Once Blake got started, we almost instantly knew he was going to blow it out of the water, and boy did he. Even as we were waiting for the lightening and drying, and coloring, we were met with fun an entertaining conversation from the entire staff! Blake also made sure to put my girlfriend first and always made sure she was comfortable, they even offer water or soda at your chair! Everyone was so nice and hospitable, you better believe when I need MY hair done, I know exactly where I'm going. Thank you Sinister Salon!

I went to Sinister Salon for the first time tonight. I loved the look of the salon. I felt like i walked in to a teenagers room. The esthetic of the salon was so cool. Ashlee took care of me, and she was awesome. She was so sweet, and got what I wanted out of my haircut. I know I will be back in 4-6 weeks to get my hair trimmed again. I love how they are open longer too. The hours are really convenient. If you need an alternative hair salon, then go hit up Sinister Salon. Make sure you have Ashlee take care of you.

I'm really bad about maintaining my own hair. I have a tendency to just let it grow until I get super sick of it, and then shave my head. The last time I got a haircut was a little over a year ago, and I recently found myself wanting something fun, shorter, and lighter for the new year. Something that I wouldn't have to invest a ton of time in for upkeep. I started researching salons, as the last person I had cut my hair isn't currently taking appointments. Enter Sinister Salon. I know a lot of folks who have gotten their hair done here, and I follow them on social media. The idea of an alternative salon was super intriguing to my gothy little heart. Sinister Salon is the first salon I've found that doesn't do gendered pricing. No "men's haircut" or "Long women's hair cut" prices here! Prices are based on length of hair only. Long cuts are one price, no matter your gender. Short cuts are one price, no matter your gender. Inclusivity is super important to me, so I absolutely loved this. Booking online was easy. I arrived a little early to my appointment. The salon DOES have a parking lot, but it is a little small, and was full when I arrived. (Its in a strip mall with other businesses) Not to worry though, there is a public parking lot across the street that I was able to use. I walked in and was greeted warmly, asked if I had an appointment, and who with. I let them know I had an appointment with Blake, and was shown to the back of the salon where the waiting area is. Alternative/Rock music playing on the speakers, Lots of fun, funny, and alternative artwork and stickers on the walls...I fell in love before I even had my haircut done! When my time came up, Blake showed me to his station and asked what I was thinking about. I showed him my inspiration photo, and we got to work! I don't remember the name of the person who washed my hair, but they were awesome. They kept checking in with me about the temperature of the water, and I was very relaxed during my wash. That's always my favorite part of a hair cut! Blake did an amazing job with my hair. He made me feel super comfortable (as someone who isn't always comfortable with small talk, that's a bit of a feat), and really made me feel like the style I had chosen was a good one. I feel like he tailored the cut to how I normally treat my hair (air dry, not blow dry, and not a lot of product needed). My hair looks SO cute now, and I am confident that I can get the same results without too much effort/upkeep. Blake is the owner of the salon, and I am super pleased to have had him do my hair for me. I'm already planning to come back to see him again for my next cut. in addition to haircuts/blow outs/styling, etc, Sinister Salon also offers waxing and nails! Cannot wait to go back to what is now my new salon! Huge thanks to Blake and the entire crew at Sinister Salon for a great first visit!!!

My Wife Recently went here. She is disabled, but really enabled. Sinister Salon went above and beyond to take care of her needs. This place is so Punk Rock. The owner went way above and beyond and hooked my wife up. Never judge a book by its cover as this place took such special care, and made my wife feel like a princess. Sinister Salon completely took care of her, did her hair, colored it, and made her into a princess. The owner even covered her nails being done. Zowie her hair dresser was amazing. They Say "We definitely aren’t your grandmothers salon, but grandmothers are MORE than welcome" My wife is not a Grandmother, but some could see her that way due to her disabilities. Sinister Salon went above and beyond to take care of her needs, and they get 2 Metal Horns Up! ...So the bottom line is, this place is amazing, they don't judge, they are extremely friendly, they are extremely professional, and they are extremely F-ing Awesome. Would recommend this place to all my Metal, Punk, and Personal Friends. Also: They play Great Music!!! Kick Ass! Amazing, Professional, And Most Of All ...Caring From Their Hearts!

Sinister Salon is such an amazing place. You can come in and experience a judgement free zone with impeccable service and an extremely likeable staff. The aesthetic is dive bar meets goth teenagers basement hangout spot. Cool artwork everywhere and enjoyable music. This place has become like a second home to me and gets better and better with every visit. Euphoric and enjoyable in every single way. You won't regret coming here

They do good work, and the vibe of the place is great. However I stopped going because scheduling is kind of a disaster. There were multiple times I was scheduled with Blake, but then they said it's a mistake and he shouldn't be on the schedule. One of those times, I decided to go with someone else- I was really happy with her work, but it took legit 3 extra hours, and I wouldn't have signed up for a 5 hr total appointment that day. And the thing that sealed the deal on me not going anymore was that every time it happened, I never got any "sorry, our bad"- just got kinda weird attitude. I'm pretty easygoing especially with smaller businesses that I mostly like, but that was annoying. Still giving 3.5 stars because they do good work when the appointment succeeds
