Traveled 2 1/2 hrs. Was worth it. I was feeling a bit discouraged after contacting several places & could not find anyone to help with fixing my locs. Honestly, i was about to cut them all off if i could not get them fixed, and was nervous whether my travel was going to be me hearing the same thing i heard from others i contacted. But was quite the opposite after i got there. She exceeded my expectations. I Enjoyed the atmosphere, peaceful. Good music, Good spirit. I would leave a 5 star review, but there is always room for improvement. So I leave 5 as a 4... Besides, it makes the review more realistic. I am very much pleased with the work Diamond has done in fixing my locs. I came in with a terrible part down middle my scalp. She filled that in very well. Much appreciated Diamond 💎. She has shown a great deal of dedication to her work, & much experience. And as I told her , she just made herself my new go to for maintenance. Thank you. YAHU Most High, bless!

Diamond is an excellent loctician! My human hair permenant locs were falling out --- Diamond washed, reattached, and styled. (Loc maintenance)... I can't wait for my next appointment, you got me right in and out. Very professional and the shop smelled amazing. I absolutely love my bangs and buns ❤️. May your business grow abundantly.🎊

OMG Tip Slater has officially been slayed (in a good way) by Mrs.Diamond! To start, very clean and relaxing environment great music, snacks upon request and unlike some more recent places she doesn't demand that clients show up with their hair pre-washed. She is very professional, very informative and knowledgeable about natural hair. She also gained my trust starting from me observing how she handled my dear friends hair one day. I am from NJ Recently relocating here I was unsure of where and who to go to to help me manage my natural hair. She asked what style that I wanted and I texted her a picture of it and she nailed it! She exceeded my expectations. Prompt appointments and to top it all SHE DIDN'T TAKE ALL DAY TO SLAY! I most certainly will return!

Carol is knowledgeable regarding products to use and retwisting. However, I hate to leave a bad review for a black owned business. A decade of growing my hair is gone. I was thinking about cutting my hair and should have listened to my gut instinct when I told her I'll wait. I decided to cut because I thought it would be done correctly and look better. I confirmed that I wanted to remove the bleached color only and keep my hair shoulder length. I am not a stylist but I have seen people cut hair and they usually do it by sections to ensure the hair is even all around. Carol did not do this and started cutting away. My hair is not shoulder length and to add insult to injury, there are areas that are about 2" & 3" long. My hair will grow back but I'm starting shorter than when I got locked. I regret getting my hair cut by Carol. For how short and uneven my hair is now, the whole service should have been free. It never hurts to be honest and say I can cut but don't know how to do it properly versus messing people's hair up. Based on this experience I now have to decide if I'm going cut all of my hair off to restart. Definitely won't be back

Diamond is the bomb. She has wonderful customer service. My hair is always on point, and I always walk away satisfied. Diamond has been doing my hair for 9 years, and she has always been on time. My son is now getting his locs done by her, and he loves how she does his hair he refuses to let anybody else touch his locs. Diamond is s superb stylist.

Very nice and professional. Completed my hair very quickly, and was very gentle. Got braids done and they do not hurt at all. I would definitely recommend going here

Diamond truly lives up to her name! The quality of service provided was awesome! I'm happy with my Dreadlocks because she made sure my satisfaction with the installation was to my liking before leaving her chair! Her experience as a Stylist is great. I look forward to being styled on my locking journey. I'm glad I found her!
