Made a first time appointment a month in advance and then she cancelled an hour & a half before the appointment. Told me to reschedule on her website and didn’t bother to text me back when I let her know that cancelling so last minute definitely was frustrating to me & the plans I had made.

Vanessa has graciously guided me through my hair journey for the last 6 years and I’ve never felt happier or more confident with my hair. She’s really gotten me outside of my boring box and always given me styles and color that I’ve absolutely loved. She is a true professional and helps to clearly educate me any time I have questions. Beyond that, she is just a truly amazing person. She provides a safe, loving, and SUPPORTIVE space for everyone that comes in to her orbit- it always leaves me feeling like I could conquer the world. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Vanessa and Nicole are. If you are considering a new stylist, this is the place you need to be.

I’ve seen Nicole at Sister twice now and she has consistently been able to help me figure out what I want to do with my hair and provide an amazing result. The vibe is so friendly and relaxed, I wish I could get around to visiting more! Looking forward to booking my next appointment here again when the need presents itself. :)

Hands down my best haircut experience. Vanessa and Sage were phenomenal and incredibly professional and kind. Nicole greeted me when I walked in, and made me feel right at home. They are all incredibly humble, knowledgeable, down to earth, strong women, who are amazing at their craft. I’ve been glowing all weekend with my new hair!

This place has changed my life. Nicole has changed my life Prices are very fair. The location is nice. The space is absolutely beautiful. I can go in and know that I will leave 100% happy. This place turned me from someone who went to hair salons as infrequently as possible to someone who sticks to a strict 12 or so week schedule because I genuinely love the experience and know my money is going to a great place that will deliver amazing results. Can’t say enough good things.

5 stars for every category. The salon itself is fresh, clean, vibrant and welcoming. The location is perfect to grab lunch, dinner or a drink after at Welcome Diner or Gallo Blanco as well. The real show stealer is Vanessa herself. I originally discovered her on Instagram (@vanessayvonnehair) and fell in love with her before and after pictures of her clients. She transformed hairstyles of all different lengths and colors so beautifully. I decided she was the one I wanted to do my first pixie cut! Almost two years later, I continue to return to her. She is now helping me grow out my pixie, which isn't an easy task to accomplish. Vanessa has a beautiful and creative vision that she follows through with her execution. Not only is she a badass professional, but she is also a sweet and genuine person to boot. I would recommend her services to anyone!! Go see Vanessa! She will change your life and give you fierce confidence every time you leave her salon.

Best service. Best location + great conversation. Nicole cuts my entire family’s hair and does an amazing job ( even with my 2 squirrelly boys). I wouldn’t even think of using a different salon.

I love Sister! I’ve been getting my hair done with Nicole for years, and I am absolutely loving her new salon. It’s fresh, modern and absolutely stunning, plus they have Rose ;) Nicole is an expert at keeping my normally brown hair a natural blonde color (no brass, no orangey tones) and she keeps my extensions fresh and natural. The ladies at Sister are absolute experts at their craft, true artists!

I’ve never seen a more beautiful space to get some serious hair magic. I’ve been seeing only Vanessa for my hair the past 10+ years bc she’s the best and now teamed up with Nicole, these women are an unstoppable duo. Love this space, love these women! Gotta book in advance and keep your appts bc they go fast!! Also it’s the best location ever so hop over and get a new plant at Pueblo next door or walk to Gallo or Welcome Diner across the street to celebrate ur new lqqk

Sister is a stunning salon in downtown Phoenix. I have been going to Nicole for 10 years and I haven’t had a bad hair day since. She is a wizard with color and performs magic with cuts.

This place is so perfect! The salon is welcoming and a place you want to just hang out at. I’ve never been to a nicer space, truly. Located right next to two delicious restaurants, you can walk and get tacos or a cocktail to show off your new hair. I’ve gone to Vanessa for cut and color for years! She makes me feel like a total babe every time she works her magic! Also, love that I can buy all of my favorite hair products now without having to order online! Definitely recommend checking it out.
