First time getting my hair services here. I received crocheted boho knotless braids. Lady were very welcoming. Aimee did my hair fantastic. She was gentle and made sure I loved it. Price was reasonable Very pleased with the service.

I learned about Sister Sister Braiding through a friend I met at an airport, whom I had to approach when I noticed her superb braids. I live in Albuquerque and was dying to find a stylist who can properly do micro box braids for my wedding as a way to honor my blackness. They did not disappoint. I have worked with Umar a couple of times now, and she's so patient; her artwork is just incredible. After 12 years in the US, hopping from one bad stylist to another, I've finally found a place that I'm happy to drive 12 hours round trip to get my hair done. Just incredible work and professionalism!

I’ve been going to Sister Sister hair braiding since 2008. I love going because I know once I leave I’m gonna be happy with the results. Yesterday I got my hair braided by Ndeye and I absolutely love, love her work! She’s very meticulous with her work and she takes her time to make sure you’re completely satisfied before you leave! Shout out for Ndeye because not everyone takes pride in their work now a days as apparently she does! She’s a keeper! Welcome to the Sister, Sister hair braiding family! Okay this is an update from a previous review. The previous review I gave 5 stars but after I reviewed I realized that I had some issues. Although my braids look fabulous I was dealing with tightness! I’m aware after getting braids it may be tight a couple days or so but this lasted longer than usual. I reached out immediately, I would say next day and let the owners know my concerns. After it went on the sisters invited me to their home to access the situation and they fixed it! When I left I was completely satisfied! I’m so glad I let them know my concerns! They were accommodating and they are still #1 hair braiders in my opinion in AZ!! Kudos to sister sister! Keep up the good work! 🩷

I just moved here from Washington State and came here with 3 week old braids that were falling out. Sister Sister gave me a new set of knotless braids and I could not be happier! I know they were done correctly and with really good quality hair! The ladies there are so nice and know what they are doing! Get your hair done by them!!!

I have been using Sister Sister for approximately 3 years. They are so friendly and kind. Their work is EXCELLENT!! I have never had braids that they did poorly! I will always use Sister Sister to do my braids.

My first experience was the best ever! I called in a panic and they got me right in. Amy was very professional and friendly which was awesome, then Alicia braided my cornrows they were phenomenal!! I loved them! Everyone who saw them complimented them, my fiancé said “those braids are the best yet!” So I personally thank you! I am a Therapist/Counselor and my appearance matters! They do not listen, they do what they want to do with your hair. I asked for box braids and they’re not even box braids the parts are too small and I asked her not to braid my hair too tight, she braided my hair so tight my scalp is sore. The braids are so heavy. If you want tight braids and want to be in pain every time you turn your head or try to relax this is the place to go to “Sister Sister Braiding”. The whole experience was horrible. I do not recommend this place.
