This was my first time coming to this establishment. When I walked in there wasn’t anyone to greet me at the desk. I heard a stylist who was doing someone’s hair, ask me “how can she help”? I Replied. She sent me to the back for a wash. I waited on the line for 8 mins. The woman who washed my hair did an excellent job. She used a fine comb to scratch my scalp to remove the dandruff. My hair felt squeaky clean when she was done!!! Cudos to her!!!! I paid ten dollars for a deep conditioner but they did offer me a five dollar one as well. I asked for a blowout because it was very crowded and I didn’t want to sit under the dryer for a hour. The lady who clipped my ends and blew my hair out did an excellent job. I was very happy with my overall experience and I will return back again. Thank you for making me feel comfortable as a Biracial non-Hispanic woman.

I had a great experience here! I have type 4 hair and Romana did such a great job! I’m on day 5 and my hair is still straight. I’m not heat trained at all. I did wash, rollers, blow out and trim. I would go back! It was my first time doing rollers.

They ateeee downnnnnn on my hair!! & that’s a compliment for those who don’t know , and today was my first time going . 10/10 and I just walked in . I asked for a wash and blow dry and to put my clip ins in , they asked if I wanted to add leave in conditioner , glad I did , I haven’t done anything to my hair in a while , so it needed to be softened too. Service was quick , I waited for two people to get they’re hair washed before me, but they came before me so I had no problem waiting my turn , as I had a free day today. I had to go home to do my baby hairs , but overall the service was a 10 . I’ll be back , I like walking in , I do my own hair when I’m in a rush .

I'm disappointed this time around. Yall played in my daughter's hair and literally chopped her off. I asked for a silk press and she got a straight, chopped blow out. Nothing silky about it. The first time yall did her hair, it lasted a month. It frizzed up within hours this time. In my opinion, yall should do the same routine each and every time when doing a silk press. I paid too much not to get what I wanted.

Long post alert- 🚨😡 I went to this salon in October with pre-washed hair. I requested a blow out and was told it would cost $65. I thought this was a bit high since my hair was already clean but that doesn’t seem to matter. Fast forward to this month, I went into the salon expecting to pay the same price for the same requested service with the same pre-washed hair and was quoted $80! And this time she didn’t even use the flat iron after the blow like she did the other time! The woman also didn’t know I understand Spanish as I overheard her telling a coworker how “nice my hair was for a black girl!” Disgusting. Even worse, when I objected to the quoted price of $80 explaining the last time I paid $65 they all shouted in protest “no no no mami!” Then the one seemingly in charge dropped the price “this one time” to $75. I paid, did not tip and left. After receiving my emailed receipt, I went to look at my bank statement and behold, there it was, my October visit price for $65. I screenshot it and sent them an email with the bank statement attached and still have not received a response. They are so unprofessional and hate on anyone with a head full of hair that doesn’t look like them. It’s wild. Please spare yourselves and go anywhere else.

The worst haircut I ever had. I told her to cut my ends and she cut half of my hair. Also I had a layered haircut and she cut it with straight scissors making it look like somebody bite it, I’m really really sad.

Um where do I start… so I went to get my hair colored a week before my birthday. The lady who did my hair just put the color in my hair like it was shampoo but before putting it all over my hair she tested the color on a a huge strip in the back of my head. Therefore I have two colors on my hair now! Furthermore, when it came time to blow out my hair it’s like she didn’t even do a thing because as soon as I walked out the salon my hair puffed up!

Virgin natural hair girlies *DO NOT Come HERE* my visit they insisted to add deep conditioning and I believe it has a perm in it. My scalp felt tingly and after the deep conditioning they parted my hair to the side so I couldn't see they cut the front of my hair. You know how hard it is for our hair to grow nicely and they cut the front and didn't say anything to me. I only came here for a wash and set nothing else. Not even a trim!!! I have attached photos so you can see the difference from the left to the right. My hair is also breaking easily after visiting the salon. I'm assuming my hair is trying to get rid of the perm. Please don't waste your time! I came here after years of doing my hair myself and they cut off the front of my head and possibly permed hair without my consent!

Y'all I have 4C hair which is at my shoulder . I came to the salon with my hair puffy and coily, I ask for wash, set and blow dry, they wash my hair I didn't have no problem. When it's time to go in the front for set and blow dry - They didn't put me under the dryers or give me any curling Rod only used the brush and blow dryer ??? that's not the service i've paid for! Also charge me 75. If this is an own black Dominican salon why don't they treat black people with respect the same way they treat other people with long and straight hair ??!!

I came in for a wash and set, the wash was very pleasant and through. How ever when it came time to roll and blow out they did not know how to manage my curls, they tried to put less rollers to save themselves time. Then when it came to blowing it out my roots were not fully dry and still kinky. Why ? Because they did not use enough rollers to secure the hair and have a good enough grip so the roots would properly dry. Then as I was getting blown out, one of the workers proceeded to ask me to check out before my hair was even done when I asked if it can wait til I am finished she asked why? And said that she would like to start to close the register.On top of all this, they assumed I didn't speak Spanish and spoke about my hair and its texture multiple times. They were extremely unprofessional,I would not recommend this place if you have textured hair.

I have 4c texture, natural hair. I came to the salon for a wash and blow dry and trim. When I went to the salon they suggested I use the deep conditioner, I didn’t want it but it was suggested so I accepted it. I’m not sure what is in the deep conditioner, if it is perm or texturizer, but its been 3 weeks since I’ve been to the salon and my 4c hair texture hasn’t come back. My hair texture is looser and thinner than before the salon! I’m disappointed because I paid extra for a deep conditioner I didn’t even want, and tipped the ladies just for my hair texture to be different. If there’s perm or texturizer in the deep conditioner, they should tell their customers. And if they don’t know how to take care of kinky coily hair without it, then they shouldn’t service people with those hair types. Or they should learn from a black natural hair salon about what products to use and how to take care of kinky hair. Very sad and disappointed.

I took my daughter in this place and ask the price for her hair. I showed a picture of her hair to Erika bc her hair was in braids. I was told between up and 100 dollars. So a week later or so later o. October 15th, I took my child in for a was and roller set. I was told she couldn't get a roller set due to her hair type and it had to be blown. Cary was trying to charge me 120 but bc Erika had already said 80 to 100 she had honored the price. She let me know next time 120 though. She seemed bothered and but w.e. She kept checking the person washing my baby hair, they all seemed annoyed with the process except Scarlet. My daughter has really thick and long hair. So I understood bc it drives me crazy too, that why I didn't do it this time myself. Scarlet blew her hair and then was directed to do someone else and make my baby wait. Before Scarlet could get back to her Lucy miserable self was blowing her hair. Did it in a total of about 5 minutes. Blew and wrapped. I felt like she rushed it, mind you when Scarlet was blowing another customer, who seemed like a regular called her name and said put more moisturizer on her hair. I'm realized why she made that request and was appreciative for her input. I asked Cary to do her hair, I was told no. Overall, Scarlet was doing a great Job but Cary directed her to help someone else so we was stuck with Lucy attitude. Lucy tapped my daughter and told her to go when she finished. Her attitude is so disgusting. She was in there arguing with customers. Took a lady used, wet towel to use for another lady. When the customer took her towel back. It led to a full blown argument. Scarlet had to tell Lucy to stop. That's so unsanitary but she was wrong and strong. My daughter senior pictures was the next day. Her hair was a puff ball and I was confused what I paid 100 dollars for. Bc the pic were the next morning, I couldn't take her back. I took a pic of her hair and showed Erika the next day. She said bring her after school to get it redone. I explainwd her pics were today, that makes no sense. She said well for retake, we will give you a $15 conditioner for free. So I was confused. You will do her hair over free now after pics are taken but for retake, I would have to pay the $120 that Cary had demanded but get a free conditioner. I said okay. Inside, I would never trust them to do her hair properly and for the last chance to have her senior pics come out nice. If we were Hispanic, they would have done her hair right from the start and would not have disregarding their F-up. I got a sorry and $15 free conditioner offer for next time. If they couldn't manage her hair they should have said that. They didn't attempt to flat iron. I feel like they just wanted the money, we were not regulars so they didn't care.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My daughter came here for a silk press. She has shoulder length curly kinky hair. They were extremely rough with her and change the price from $80 to $100. Luckily for them I was not at the hair salon at the time of this or I would be very upset. They didn’t think my daughter understood Spanish and spoke about the texture of her hair as well. This is not how you treat your customers. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Stylist was amazing, but overall customer service needs vast improvement. Shampoo individual had a full conversation over my face, stop shampooing, laughing loudly, conversed more, gesticulated over me and finally came back to Shampoo. Truly disappointing, lessening an otherwise pleasurable experience.

need to work on time management. came to get a wash and set at 2 and didn’t leave until after 8. i do not have long hair and it should not have taken this long. I was under the dryer for two hours after getting a hair mask and after being set in rollers. that is too long for someone who has medium length hair! also, I understand it gets busy in the salon but it has never taken six hours for me to get a WASH and SET at any salon ever. side note: what is the point of scheduling appointments if you don’t honor them. this is a walk-in salon.

Honestly very happy! The lady was nice, and gave me a price estimate from the start and even asked me what type of blowout I want. The shampoo station was thorough and relaxing. Will be coming back!!!

Since when a wash and blow is $88 ?? The customer service is terrible and they act like doing hair other than Spanish texture is difficult. The lady complained about my hair as she was washing it and seemed annoyed then the Second Lady rushed to blow it out , I was done in less than 2 hours and was charged way too much ? I never spent over $55 on a wash and set ever ! And my hair is medium length .

This is not a salon you should go to if you are a dark skin black women with natural hair!!!! They were very mean and was talking about my hair the whole time in Spanish. My hair was washed with no conditioner then combed with a fine tooth comb which caused a lot of tears n pain. I was told I would get charged double for having thick hair and it was an extra $20 for conditioner. I left in tears

Does not honor scheduled appointments. I purposely booked a blow dry appt right before an important event at work (which I needed to arrive on time for) that was going to be filmed. When I arrived 10min early for my appt (which I made using the website's online portal) I was informed, "Appointments don't guarantee you a time, they just get you in the system." And then I was told there were four people ahead of me and they had no idea how long I'd have to wait. Why do you offer appointments if you don't honor them?!? Just say you are walk-in only! I knew I would miss my important work event if I waited so I left in a panic and scrambled to find somewhere else that had immediate availability. This place is very unprofessional and poorly managed. Buyer beware.

I initially called them to ask for the price of a layer haircut, and the lady said $25. However, after the haircut, they said $40. I was like, okay sure. Then I tried tap pay using my phone, but they didn't have the option available, only card!! I didn't have the physical card with me. So, I had to run to the bank in the heatwave to get the cash🤦🏻‍♀️I've been coming here since I was a teenager. But I wish they would upgrade more, especially customer service and payment services.

Did what was supposed to be a silk press on my daughter’s hair for her prom, we left around noon and by 2:30 it was almost back to its natural state completely. Called them and they were rude and blamed it humidity or maybe my daughter did something to the hair. I drove my daughter home in my air conditioned vehicle and we went straight home. She was very sad about her hair heading to prom. I am extremely angry and wasted $140 that I was charged for my 10 year old daughter’s hair!!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!

My daughter referred me to this salon. I never make an appointment. When I get there as soon as I walk in the door in the door a stylist is walking toward me saying "HI, how can I help you?" I never have to wait. I was worried about coming on a Friday. I still didn't have to wait. They had 4 people washing hair and more than 5 doing hair. I really L❤️VE this spot. Their hours are great as well. I appreciate their great service!!!! 👍 👏

This salon is not recommended for those with natural hair. One of the staff members with lighter skin was discourteous and attempted to overcharge me for a basic wash. She also neglected to apply any leave-in conditioner. It's disappointing when someone with a negative attitude is in a customer service role.

Salon has nice staff but they don’t have security systems on door like a buzzer for people to press when entering it’s always people walking in the salon and selling things I heard a girl got her wallet stolen by someone who wasn’t a customer.. that’s not good because now it’s rumors to not go here because you don’t know who could be there to cause any problem with you or take your things sad because you have to really watch your things and the salons aren’t usually crowded either everyone can see each other etc don’t bring your kids either because if they get stolen then that’s a problem police won’t even handle correctly and the salon cameras don’t work poor girl I hope she can find her wallet but definitely don’t go to this salon good services just bad security.should be comfortable to place stuff down when getting hair did even if you are watching it but one look away it’s an issue.
