It’s stressful to go get a hair cut for my 4 year old. The clippers make him nervous. The sounds make him nervous. I’m sure my stress responding to his stress probably doesn’t help. I love this hair salon. We’ve done multiple places and tried a bunch but this one gives us the best experience every time. The people are CALM. The environment is CALM. The stylists are CALM. When Eli is nervous about the hair dryer they accomodate and use a soft brush. The atmosphere is playful but not over stimulating. There’s toys to play with while you wait, coloring sheets and a tablet for videos. They made me a coffee that I could enjoy til our turn. I love love love this children’s salon and highly recommend. Sarah took great care of us and was so good with our kiddo, but I haven’t had a bad experience with a stylist yet. All are wonderful.

My sons first haircut was a success! Even though he basically cried the whole time the nice woman that cut his hair (unfortunately my brain can’t for the life of me remember her name) was super sweet and patient! Love it! We got a picture at the end plus some play dough and an optional lollipop! You could also choose to keep a lock of hair but I had already gotten one at home! Will be coming back for sure :)

My wife brought our toddler son here for a haircut. I recognize cutting children’s hair might be difficult but I’ve never seen such a bad haircut in my life. Would caution anyone coming to this place.

The stylist said almost nothing at all the whole time. There were no attempts to comfort my son who is 2 and terrified of haircuts. This experience made it worse for sure. Maybe I just got a stylist who was having an off day? Left feeling like I should have stopped the person halfway through. Unfortunate.

We did a kids first ever haircut with Sky and had the best experience! Our daughter smiled the entire way through and Sky was so patient and fun and the hair cut was great! So glad we picked Sit Still for her first hair cut.

We love Sit Still! Our 11 month old guy has been to see Sky twice now and she’s so great with him! The cuts turn out great and she’s so flexible with him being so young! Definitely recommend Sit Still to all of my friends with little ones!

Kailey is amazing! She has cut my 10 year old’s hair a couple of times now and every time it turns out so cute! The salon is clean and designed with kids in mind without being loud and overwhelming. We love it every time!

We took our youngest in for his first hair cut and he did so well! The stylist was so patient and kind! We couldn’t recommend this place enough. Everyone that works there is so nice & they make it fun for our kids every time we visit. They also have the cutest accessories!

Best kid’s haircut experience by a long shot! My 8 year old has gotten many haircuts and this was a very calm experience that is tailored to kids and parents. Will be back!

Kailey did my daughter’s hair the other day, and I just want to say SHE IS AMAZING! She was so patient with my daughter and just went above the standard. She was the only employee working and was handling everything gracefully. I will definitely be coming back!

We had a great experience here. It is by far the cleanest kids’ hair studio that we have been to across both OKC and Tulsa. The salon is bright, the staff is very friendly, and the introductory haircut + glitter tattoo is a great price. They have an awesome selection of games for the kids while you wait, and the coffee and mimosa selection for adults is great too! There is a coloring area, tablets for each kid to watch a show while having their hair done, and a wall of products (both hair related and toy related) that you can shop while you wait. We absolutely loved our visit and can’t wait to return for years to come!

Kailey is absolutely amazing with our boy. He’s had sensory processing issues making haircuts a nightmare almost his whole life. She is so patient, kind, understanding, and accommodating. She NEVER and I mean NEVER gets flustered when he is uncomfortable. We sing her praises every chance we get!

Our little guy was born with a head full of hair and when it was time to cut his long hair after he turned 1, we were wanting somewhere that would make it a memorable experience and Sit Still delivered. They offered us something to drink when we got in as well as big brother who tagged along. He got to color while we waited. Everyone was so sweet and very patient! A first haircut can be scary for a toddler but they were completely unphased with the squirming and some tears and got the job done. The cut looked great! They collected some of his hair for me to keep as well as took a picture. The printer wasn't working for the picture when we were there and they offered to mail it to us. We got it so quick in the mail after the haircut! Overall a great experience and we will be back again!

Came in without an appointment, and the stylist squeezed my son in for a quick cut. I couldn't be any more happier with the outcome. Clean, bright salon and friendly staff. I will definitely come back again and refer anyone looking to get their kids hair done!
