I was looking for a new look and fresh perspective and Marcee was just what I needed. We talked for about 10 minutes and she had some great suggestions. I went with everything she suggested (lowlights and highlights) and was super happy with the result! With my new style, I can go natural, straighten or curl it even more. Marcee was amazing and I booked the next appointment before leaving the salon.

Love this chic place! It was a wonderful experience. Mary listened to what I asked for and delivered. Great job on my color and cut. I highly recommend this salon I will be returning.

I have experienced that Marcee is very accomplished. She can fine tune your men's cut based both on your best look and what you'd like. Once you give her the work, you'll be very happy! Six East is very well organized and welcoming.

Best haircut I can remember getting. I have curly fine hair and they knew just what to do and help me with my goals of growing longer hair. As a guy it can be hard finding folks who can cut longer mens hair. This place is it :) They also crushed my 6 yo hair cut and were super patient and helpful in answering all the kiddo questions. We will be back !

I absolutely love this salon! Mary took care of me and did an amazing job! I had gone to two other salons and pretty much got the same boring bob hair cut. Mary listened to my ideas and gave me the best shag hair cut and color of my life. I will be a forever client. Thank you Mary

Just moved to Frederick and found this place google. They are so cute and Roxanne was amazing! Made me feel so comfortable after not having my hair done in a while. We talked about what I wanted and didn’t want prior to my actual appointment and she talked me through what she was going to do the entire time. Also… she was so fun to talk to! She did great with my hair. Showed her a picture and we discussed what would work with my hair and my every day routine. Will be back!

I just moved from Ohio and needed a new salon. With great reviews I chose Six East Salon. The salon was easy to get to, a very charming atmosphere. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. They all gave me recommendations for cool places to eat and drink in Frederick. My stylist did a great job with my hair color! Best it has been in a long time. I was very happy. I also had my eyebrows waxed and it was fast and easy. Great job! I really appreciated the manger calling me a few days after my appointment to see if I was satisfied with my visit.

The salon is very cute! Everyone is super friendly. I haven't had a haircut since I was 14 and I think my stylist did a great job! She brought life back to my hair!!

Hi, my name is nichole golobo I was visiting some family members in Frederick Maryland and decided I need to come in and get some layers in my hair at the time I had extensions in my hair did not know how to cut layers with extensions in. I think it was the owner tried to help her. She did a couple cuts on me and when she asked the owner to go around my face because she was afraid I guess she was going to chop me. She said no I cannot help you. I have to get back to my client For a shampoo and blowout cost me like almost almost 90 bucks. I would not recommend this place. It’s not the cleanest either.

Mary and the entire team of Talented and Amazing women are absolutely fabulous! Mary is skilled at listening to her clients and providing the best color and haircut style. Mary colored and highlighted my hair. Then she cut/styled it. This was my first time at this salon, and I am pretty sure that this is my new home!!

I love my hair!! This was my first visit and I was tentative about going to a new salon. But beginning with my call with Maxine to Mary my stylist to The front desk owners I was treated like a queen. Mary took the time to in the beginning to fully appreciate and understand what I wanted, though I had trouble articulating it. She provided a holistic approach to the color and care and the treatment. The results were perfect. There were some nuances like massage chairs while being shampooed and warm towels to dry my hair after shampooing. Finally, she took me upstairs for waxing brows and upper lip. The atmosphere was serene and the character of the building was intimate. After the services, I got goodies like samples and discounts for return future visits. I will be coming back and plan to tell all my family and friends. Thank you for an enjoyable and perfect afternoon. PS this is a no tip salon. The prices were reasonable and appropriate.

Six East Salon & Spa is a non-gratuity venue - tips are not expected or accepted! Warm towels are standard! Complimentary make-up touchup is yours for the asking! Everything about this Salon & Spa is classy, comfortable and populated by warm welcoming professionals knowledgeable about industry trends and products! For 10 years I have been a monthly client so I have had abundant opportunity to observe many other of their clients and without exception everyone leaves looking revived, rested, and fabulous!

Everything was perfect, from the salon and its incredible building to the extensive selection of Oribe products (my fave) to the friendly and professional stylists. I love my color and treatment I received from Marcee. I will definitely be back and can’t recommend this salon enough!! Such a gem!

From the time I enter the front door to the time I exit, I feel like I've had a spa experience. The setting is creative, organized and beautiful. The staff are receptive and responsive to my needs. The high quality of service is the reason I return again and again.

I had a great experience here! The customer service was amazing and I'm very happy with my hair. I saw Stacey and got highlights as well as a trim with long layers. She did exactly what I was looking for and styled it beautifully afterwards :)
