My massage with Lizzie was top notch! She listened and read my preferences. Her pressure/touch were exactly what I was hoping for. A little self care in the middle of the hustle and bustle was just what I needed. I’ll be on the lookout for her to join full-time, and will be returning for future massages.

I've been on a skincare rollercoaster for years, trying both traditional and holistic alternatives, but nothing has really done the trick. It was essential for me to work with someone who aligned with my values of pursuing the natural route, and more importantly, someone who possessed empathy and a determination to help me regain my confidence. Alex has been a saving angel! Not only is she incredibly kind, but she's also highly knowledgeable. I cannot express how happy I am with my results so far after booking the "Triple Threat." I look forward to continuing my skin journey with Skin and Muscles!

Love it here! Had a facial a few months ago that was amazing, and just came in for a massage with Lizzie - divine! The 60 min massage was at a discount (“intern massage”) and is honestly the deal of the year. The massage was as good if not better than ones I’ve paid $150+ for! Will 100% be back and have already sent 2 friends her way.

The staff was nice but I probably wouldn’t come back here myself. The booking process was complicated. The website didn’t describe what each of the scalp treatment options included. If it did I probably wouldn’t have booked a scalp treatment with them. I’ve gotten about 7 scalp treatments in the past from other locations ranging from $120-$140 with an hr and a half of service. This service was less than an hour long and was $170. If you’re looking for a scalp spa like the ones you see on Instagram these are a few things that s&m does not offer but other locations do: Scalp analysis-where they show you your scalp before and after the wash Mini facial Basic blow dry Heated socks Eye mask to help you relax The music was loud so it was hard to relax When the treatment was over the person combing my hair said I would see flakes from the exfoliation but it will wash out , which I thought was the purpose of going to a scalp spa, doing a thorough wash so you don’t have any flakes or build up. I guess I just had an expectation based off of past experiences at other locations and it didn’t meet that

Absolutely lovely studio - Heather is an incredible body worker. The integrative body work is so restorative and adding on facial cupping for some depuffing post wedding weekend was so worth it. By far one of the best massage experiences I’ve had in Denver.

I have been receiving different services (massages, facials, acne treatment) at skin&muscles for over 8 months now, and am so grateful for Alex, her healing hands, and her knowledge. Alex has specially helped me in supporting some really difficult acne breakouts I have been dealing with this year; and has even provided me with holistic information about how to support my gut/acne issues beyond what we target during our appointments. I am excited to try out other services at the boutique spa <3

I've experienced the scalp treatment, a facial, and a massage at Skin & Muscles and each visit was outstanding. The ambiance is perfectly serene, enhancing the personalized care tailored to my preferences—like choosing between a quiet session or a chat. The services are consistently excellent. Just had a 90 minute massage and cupping session with Heather and I feel absolutely heavenly 😌 I had a lot of tension that she was able to release while also making me feel so relaxed that I dozed off a couple times throughout. I'm visiting Denver on a work trip and I couldn't be more grateful to have had the chance to come to this place. I'll definitely be back the next time I visit!

I’m a little delayed in posting this review but I came in for a scalp treatment back in may on my birthday and it was the most relaxing amazing treatment ever! Was the perfect way to spend my birthday and my hair was literally the shiniest it’s ever been for my bday dinner that night!

I had a scalp treatment from Bella today and it was wonderful! Bella was professional, courteous, and made me feel so relaxed. I also appreciate that this is a smaller boutique experience - it felt much more personalized to my needs and the quality of care was a lot better than some of the services I’ve received from larger businesses. I’ll definitely be back! Give yourself time to grab a coffee from next door’s Queen City Collective as well as a breakfast sandwich (made my Pandemic Donuts - I think).

I have been going to skin and muscles for a couple years now and am always so impressed with their work! Alex is a wonderful esthetician and Heather is an amazing therapist that constantly adjusts to what I need. I love coming to them for services and always know I'll leave feeling refreshed :) have recommended to many and they feel the same!!

My sister and I came in today and had the BEST experience. The ladies there are so sweet and make the experience feel so comfortable. We had Bella & Katrina and they both were extremely sweet and did amazing. We both did the Deluxe Scalp Treatment that included a scalp massage and an arm, hand, and shoulder massage. The entire thing was amazing!! Definitely recommend, such a relaxing enjoyable experience!

Awesome way to kick off my birthday with a massage and facial! Loved the vibe of the whole place, the massage was exactly what I needed with excellent pressure, and the facial was amazing! I loved the arm/neck/shoulder massage as each mask was drying on the face - truly felt pampered. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing an amazing massage at Skin and Muscles. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was calming and inviting, setting the perfect tone for relaxation. So cute! The massage therapist was attentive and professional, ensuring I was comfortable throughout the session. They skillfully addressed my areas of tension. What impressed me most was their ability to personalize the experience based on my needs. Whether it was adjusting the pressure or focusing on specific areas of concern, they were responsive and knowledgeable. By the end of the session, I felt completely relaxed and revitalized. The absolute best local business for your skincare and wellness needs. The owner, Alex, goes above and beyond and dives into the internal issues that can cause external skin issues. Every time I meet with Alex for microneedling, she always showcases her deep understanding of how the body regulates itself. I usually book with Alex, but I don’t think you could go wrong with anyone who works here! On top of providing amazing service, this business is extremely ethical. I have never once been pressured into buying products that I may not need or been charged an unreasonable price for any service, unlike other big name companies or salons that may try to sell you on products or services you don’t need to keep revenue up/achieve quotas. Great place!! And maybe most importantly, I see results from my services!

Treated myself a a scalp and facial combo today and it did not disappoint! I basically came out of there feeling like a noodle and smelling nice :). It was my first ever scalp treatment and my hair is thick and heavy and I really enjoyed everything about my experience. Katrina was very nice and personable and I loved her vibe and bedside manner. Would definitely book again!

Just wow! I get a massage 10-15x/year and Heather is one of the best massage therapists I've come across in a long time. The experience was absolutely lovely. I came in with a decent amount of pain and I left feeling none. I cannot wait to return! Thank you!

Wow! Alexandra is fantastic!! Can’t say enough about how relaxed I felt and how enjoyable the experience was. My kids gifted me a massage and facial and it was thoroughly enjoyed. 🎄😍 A few things to note as a first time patron…If you are following google maps and see the barber 💈 shop sign or the tattoo shop - you’re in the right place! Either park on the street or in the FREE parking lot directly across the new location. Let yourself relax and enjoy! (The music might seem a little loud at first but it is appropriate!) Fantastic studio! I’ll be back. 😉

Skin and Muscle is the best place over ever received a massage and a facial. I always leave feeling relaxed. My skin has only improved from skin and muscle. My favorite is a massage with cupping from Alex. Hands down the best massage. I highly recommend skin and muscle for treatments or just a relaxing spa day.

Wow is the word I would use to describe the scalp treatment from Amy at Skin and Muscles Salon. The treatment is so relaxing and used products that smell and feel amazing . It includes the halo water feature. This feature alone is something you have to experience for yourself. Imagine a head massage with hands and water at the same time. The dry and wet hair combing were both relaxing and help detox your scalp. There is also a massage including arms, hands, neck and shoulders. Finally after your head and hair feel amazing, you end the treatment with a blow out. My hair and scalp feel amazing. Amy was fantastic. She has hands of gold and a beautiful presence to help you feel comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend Amy and this treatment.
