I have used Lina for both chemical peels and for eyebrow microblading over the past 2 years. I trust her completely and believe that she truly cares about each person and their outcome. She is very particular with her procedure steps to ensure safety and sanity precautions which is very reassuring!! She also has lots of high quality products to purchase.

Truly don’t know where to start. I’ve received facials in the past but nothing like this place. Ms. Lina started me off by showing me how to properly cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize my face. Then she started my facial - a chemical peel. Prior to, my skin was dehydrated, dull, uneven skin tone due to sun damage. I purchased 2 sessions and received my 2nd one today. My skin looks brand new and I’m just in complete awe of how amazing it looks! Ms. Lina did such an amazing job and has blessed my skin so much. It’s hard to find an esthetician that truly cares about you and your skin. The most amazing, sweetest lady ever, I’m so grateful! Thank you a million times. I can’t wait to book more sessions with you!

I have been going to Lina for years. She is a wonderful ladies! I Have had other chemical peels in the past, And they don’t work remotely as good as the ones that she gives. I have also gotten other services from her. She’s outstanding. She really knows her stuff. Highly recommend her.

I had no idea where to start and I’m so grateful I found her spa. My skin has gotten much brighter, smoother and clear. After another spa cancelled on me last minute b/c the owner didn’t feel like taking in clients anymore, Lina saved my day. I highly recommend the services that Lina provides in her spa!!!!! I came to her with thousands of tiny bumps all over my face that I had been dealing with for months without any relief. Nothing that I was trying at home was helping me at all. I finally came here for a consultation and after evaluating my skin I was given the chemical peel that best suited me. Within two weeks I saw major changes and now my skin is glowing so much I get constant compliments!

I would highly recommend Lina for acne facial treatments or any other services. I have experienced hormonal acne for awhile & it has made me self conscious for years but Lina has changed that for me drastically! I wasn’t able to see my dermatologist for 3 months so I needed something to help me during that gap & I am amazed at the results. This was my 1st time here because I’m trying to find a spa that I really like so this one was on my list to checkout …… well it was Okay I think the masseuse I had was new . Her pressure was great but her technique was as a little off from what I’m use to . It just felt as if she was new which is fine however they need to make sure that the service you’re providing matches the cost of what customers are paying. She did an excellent job on my feet but everything else just felt like pressurized rubs not working out of knots or anything however The staff is very helpful, nice that’s about it for my visit

Don't go for vichy shower. Table was wobbly shower heads were broken. What a waste. Dishonesty. I told them specifically I wanted the shower if the shower heads weren't working I wanted to cancel and they said no no no the shower heads would be working and the showerheads were not working 6 were working unevenly 2 we're broken the bed was wobbly the whole system needs replaced So dishonest to charge someone for service $80 they cannot provide that service... She did she did offer me another option of some infrared solid dad solid bed that I don't believe the infrared is working I refused pay my money and will not be going back

I am a satisfied customer that goes to Lena and has sent many people to Lena who were also satisfied. My girlfriend from New York will not having anything done to her face unless it’s Lena. And she’s been to many different specialists for different procedures but none were as good as Lena and that’s why she spends the money to come back to Raleigh from New York. She won’t take a chance of anyone messing her up. She is older and it’s hard to get good results with someone her age. Lena got rid of black spots on my face that she said tend to be with people of color (like Morgan freeman has) and my mother’s face was covered with those spots. They plagued the both of us. My mother and I are satisfied. These are spots I THOUGHT I could never get rid of!!! makeup didn’t cover them, nothing covered them. She totally removed them. A dream come true!! And with very little discomfort. I know we’re all different with skin texture and color. It worked for my mother and me. Lena has improved my skin texture and overproduction of oil and big pores. Am I happy, oh yeaa! It’s not just me saying it, she was awarded the best facial in Raleigh for her microdermabrasion treatment. If you’re interested I have the before and after photos to prove to you the removal of the fibromas , that’s what Lena calls them, people think they can never get rid of.

I can't say enough GREAT things about Skin Essence a Day Spa! For years, I searched for an Esthetician that could improve and maintain my skin type-- while properly explaining needed regimens and products. Well, I found that in Skin Essence. I have been a customer here for almost 4.5 years. Lina is extremely knowledgeable and her level of customer service is TRULY unmatched! She cares about her clients and the well being of their skin by creating customized treatment plans for each client. She knows exactly what my skin needs each and every time I come to see her. Honestly, no matter where I am in the USA I either fly or drive back to see Lina--she is JUST that amazing. I can honestly say I leave just as happy as I did the very first time I was ever serviced. Look no further for all of your skin care needs. You won't be disappointed!!!

I don’t know how I feel about this experience yet but I decided to leave a review now in case I do not have a good one to leave later. I do recommend coming here. I don’t recommend you being naïve and uneducated as I was. I booked a For Her package that consisted of a massage, facial and foot detox. I’ve never had any of these services done nor have I been to this establishment before. I went in with no expectations and little to no questions , definitely my mistake. I got there, the ambience was on point! The music, the way I was greeted, the oil diffusers, all of it tied in together so well. I had my massage first. Absolutely NO complaints, Kelly did amazing! Then I got to my facial and everything went so quickly I can’t even tell you how we got from the standard facial to a chemical peel. There were so many steps I couldn’t tell what was what. I had no idea this process would be as painful and restrictive as it is. I should’ve spoken up but I was left in the room for 15-20 minutes alone in between each step. I always find it hard to be rude to someone in the service industry. I am more displeased with myself but definitely displeased with the facial because I apparently allowed myself to be talked into a wayyyy more expensive experience that requires wayyyy more maintenance. I can’t be in the sun, there is a whole process I have to go through to wash my face AND my skin is peeling. I’ve had to go to work all week like this. Now I respect that this is a place of business but as a first time client that knew nothing before arriving I feel a chemical peel was highly unnecessary. I had maybe 3 bumps on my face and some dark spots. That’s it. Also, probably partially my fault as well, I had something to do that afternoon. I booked my appointment at 10am, thinking I’d be gone by 1p, no later, since the services combined were only 2 1/2 hours. I was wrong again. I had to leave without the door detox. I feel if I’d gotten the standard facial I thought I was getting, there would’ve been time for it. I was also charged for all this, of course. So expensive! I paid half at booking only thinking I’d have to pay the other have and it really put a damper on my funds for the day. She THEN made 2 additional appointments. She was going to do that foot detox at a later appointment but I’m not interested. I have since cancelled them both. I just wanted a regular day at the spa but I think I’ll stick to doing spa days at home. This 4 star rating is solely for the massage.

I had a wonderful experience here. My esthetician was so kind and thoughtful. I had come for a wax and left feeling great about myself mentally and physically. Lina is so quick and my wax took almost no time at all, which was a big change from other estheticians I’ve been too. FABULOUS!!

I highly recommend Lina and Skin Essence. This spa is so relaxing. During the past 6 years I have had many treatments here including waxing, eyelash dyeing, glycolic peels, facials, detox footpaths, exfoliation and recently, microblading of my eyebrows. Lina is an artist and was able to perfectly shape my brows, fill in and match the medium blond color for a more natural, symmetric and youthful look. Everything is so peacefully and hygenically clean.

I highly recommend Lina. I used a Groupon and drove more than an hour for my first micro blading experience. Skin Essence spa has a lovely atmosphere. Lina is a consummate professional with years of experience that shows in her work. I also returned for a touch up. I am very happy with the results and intend to return for a facial. Lina is the real deal.

I went there for a micro dermabrasion her work was outstanding she would tell you it’s going to cost you $200 and she would charge you more $300 to $400 I had to stop going it was a big rip off

I’ve had the pleasure of trusting Mrs. Lina for over two years now with ALL of facial care needs and products. With 22 years of experience, she’s earned the title of EXPERT in the field of aesthetic care. She’s kind, knowledgeable, patient, and trustworthy. Even when I moved away, she kept my skin care regiment in tact and I would fly in from Atlanta routinely JUST to see her. I suffered from mask acne during the pandemic and can confidently say her treatment plan worked beautifully. There is no quick fix to facial care plans unfortunately. BUT quality work makes the difference and I can proudly say I’m in great hands with Mrs. Lina. If you’re contemplating seeing a professional to aid in your skin care journey, look no further.

Lina is phenomenal, I feel like she cares about getting my skin clean and clear as much as I do. Not only are the treatments amazing and effective, but she takes the time to teach you about your skin. I've struggled with acne for my ENTIRE LIFE! Two rounds of Accutane and every topical in the book, nothing worked. I'm finally seeing the results with Lina's guidance.
