I truly understand why Skin Etc Spa has great reviews. Makeea Arnold did my facial yesterday. She’s professional and down to earth. I felt comfortable around her. She was fully detailed with me about my skin issues. She also offered me complimentary snacks and drinks. I’m looking forward to doing business with Skin Etc Spa in the future.

I am rating 10/10. If you are looking for a LUXURY spa experience and a good facial, I recommend no where else except Skin Etc Spa! Always on point. Always professional. Always clean & organized, & always on time. Makeea the owner is very professional, very friendly, very knowledgeable of how to take care of your skin and I highly recommend her for your facial! She puts me to sleep every time! I love her.

10/10 service!!! Tia H. did my Brazilian and Facial and again I say service was 10/10. Wax was quick and easy. Left me smoother than smoother. My facial was so relaxing I drifted away. I've done my facials over the past 2years consistently with Skin ETC! The only quality that surpasses the very cozy atmosphere and calming ambience, is the exceptional care provided by the Kirstin, one of the Estheticians. The booths are evidently well taken care of, with selectable options of aromatherapy during the facial, complemented by choice of music. I find the facial itself therapeutic and is an integral part of my self-care routine. I would HIGHLY recommend Skin ETC for their facials and all other services provided! They're voted best in Jax for a reason; thank me later!

Just had THE most relaxing facial with Tia. Went in for a wax and a facial. Wax done in 10 minutes, clean! Facial, smoothing, calming. I have sensitive skin and she really took special care. Hands down the best facial I've ever had!

TIA IS EVERYTHING!!! Doesn’t matter what side of town she on she’s the only person I trust with my wax, facials beauty and treatments Sis is that good! My skin is beyond sensitive I can’t use any type of scents a bug lands on my arm I break out I’ve been going to her for a year and I’ve never reacted to anything. She makes its so painless the room is spotless and she DOESN’T DOUBLE DIP!! Everything she brings out is brand new! You can set the vibe I like to have music going and girl talk and she’s ready as soon as I walk in the door. Thanks girl for always answering me on you off days and making yourself available

Tia and Makeea are the best esthi's hands down. The way I was taken care of from the time I stepped foot into the building from the time I left was more than just a wonderful experience. It's the standard that these women uphold. Makeea is the epitome of a leader and it radiates throughout the spa & through her team. Tia did a Facial and Brazilian wax today and it was perfect. Left me feeling baby smoothe and looking refreshed, glowing and golden. Love her and this whole establishment. If you've been looking for a place to go that not only leaves you glowing, but the vibes are there and the prices are right. Then look no further, SkinETC is the place to go. I will be booking my next appointment immediately. Also the products have done wonders for my skin!!!!

I received a facial and installation of individual lashes. From the moment I entered the door, the setting was accommodating and relaxing. Staff is polite in answering any questions I had about services. The facial was so relaxing that I fell asleep. I requested lashes that looked natural and received exactly what I asked for. I had an overall great experience at Skin ETC and would highly recommend it to everyone in search of a facial and/or natural looking lashes.

This was one of the best birthday gifts I've ever received and I have been gifted international trips and the best of gifts. What I've always wanted since growing older was how to take care of my skin and what was wrong with it. Kirstin, my aesthetician was the best ever. She explained every step, what each product was and how it would benefit my skin care journey. I was able to meet the owner, who took the time to speak to me and explain even further how she would assist me on my skin care journey. When I walked into the spa, the ambiance was so inviting. The location was clean, smelled good and the level of professionalism exuded in every step. But the customer service is what drew me in to the experience. From the mimosa to the warm bed against my skin, it was amazing. If your aesthetician isn't giving you a massage afterwards, call Skin Etc. to experience this whole vibe. I love it and thank you ladies for making such a memorable experience for me. I can't wait to come back.

Aja is amazing. Entire staff is friendly. Very clean and took safety precautions for Covid. The Quench facial is the best facial I have ever had and Aja is highly skilled. Very relaxing and excellent massage.

I chose the Custom Facial and Lip Mask. It was my first Official Facial and Makeea was MORE than amazing! She set me up with some Eucalyptus (my choice out of like a million scents) aromatherapy. The facial itself was very relaxing, despite my inability to relax in any salon setting. The dermaplaning and extractions were my FAVE part. The lip mask was refreshing beyond belief. TO TOP IT OFF the CHOCOLATE scented Jelly mask at the end .... SHEWWWWWWWWW SO REJUEVENATING !!!!!!! She explained every step before doing it including the product she was going to use, what it was for, what it would do to my skin EVEN how it might feel on my skin. Made sure I was comfortable the WHOLE way through the service. Went above and Beyond to make sure I had a pleasurable facial ! I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK !!! THANK YOU SO MUCH MAKEEA!!!!!!

My husband and I received our very first facial with Makeea and Aja ✨ Beyond what we could have imagined. From the time I walked in, I instantly felt relaxed and at peace. They walked us through each step of our service and made us feel warm and welcomed. I selected lemongrass for aromatherapy, and Makeea explained each of the skin treatment options I had. My husband was so relaxed while Aja did his facial that he started snoring lol. They offer an array of complimentary beverages before and after your service. We were very happy to find a black owned spa that we thoroughly enjoyed, and we highly recommend that you support this growing business!

This establishment operates in EXCELLENCE! I don’t mind spending my money, my time, or making the drive from the airport to San Jose for services. Makeea is amazing and works hard to create an atmosphere of what I often refer to as “Black Excellence”. She is professional, knowledgeable and you will want to return over and over.
