First, let me say that I have come here for multiple skin sessions and really appreciated the esthetician’s expertise and professionalism, as well as the actual results from the treatments. However, I recently had a bad experience with customer service that will prevent me from returning for anything. My husband scheduled a 90 minute deep tissue massage as a birthday gift. Consulting with the therapist, we discussed the desire for deep tissue, especially my upper body neck, shoulders. As she began, she asked if I had ever done cupping. I had not and we decided to try it. I really enjoyed it (helped the tight upper body muscles). However, the massage itself was far from deep tissue. The pressure was light … and relaxing … but definitely not what I came for. I asked the therapist to spend more time on my neck and shoulders, which she did, but unfortunately it wasn’t the deep tissue I desired. I chalked it up to a mismatch in therapist. She was very professional just not deep tissue. Here is where the service took a nose dive. When I checked out I confirmed that deep tissue costs additional, paid and tipped my therapist (she was lovely). I left but called back immediately to discreetly provide the feedback about the lack of deep tissue. The person I spoke with made me feel like it was my fault for not speaking up. I attempted to explain that I tried to do this by redirecting my therapist. Although she apologized, she again insisted that the customer should be communicating with the therapist. The conversation was circuitous and, quite frankly, made me feel like I did something wrong. It verged on argumentative. Here I was wanting something special for my birthday and instead was put on the defensive and at fault. Every business has occasions where things go wrong or customers are disappointed. To maintain trust, businesses should make customers feel like they are heard and their feedback is valuable.

My experience at Skin Renew has been good overall. I signed up for their services for the first time earlier this year, but was unable to continue with my laser tattoo removal sessions. Although I was not given a refund I was able to get a credit and use their other services with the money I put down on the sessions I did not use. I was impressed with how professional the technicians were. I received an eye lash lift and spent time in their water pods instead of finishing my laser tattoo removal. I honestly did feel renewed. 3 stars!

Had a one hour massage and it was amazing. They are professional and kind, and know their stuff. Here's a summer hack....schedule a massage before hitting the lake for the weekend. Highly recommend!

Theres a reason this spa doesn't need to advertise, 5 Stars all around on every level & all the time! Excellent spa for massages whether it be at the Southport or Greenwood location. I have been to both for massages. Price are middle of the road AND you're guaranteed quality staff, facility, services & products. Love the hot moist towels so much!!! Such a lovely place. I got my eyebrows microbladed by Makayla and I cannot say enough good things about her and the process. She did a wonderful job in enhancing my brows and making me feel more confident. Not only did she do a great job at the microblading itself, she is so professional, extremely personable, and walked me through the whole process including healing and follow-up sessions. Go visit her if you'd like a great spa experience! Additionally, Sierra provided exceptional customer service and was very helpful in the scheduling process.

Esthetician was very good and very knowledgeable. I have no issues with the services I received. However I feel that I was lied to by the owner. I had a reaction to the eye cream I purchased due to what I think was due to eye meds I am taking. The owner told me that they don’t typically do returns but would contact the manufacturer of the cream and see if they would refund me. She called me back a week or so later (after I canceled my next appointment) and said that I could return the product. I returned the product to the spa and was told that they would send it back to the manufacturer and i would then receive a refund. After about 4 weeks I still hadn’t received the refund so I called the spa. They then told me that because the manufacturer did not have pics of my allergic reaction they could not refund me. If the owner called the manufacturer to get approval why didn’t she know that they wanted pics? IF she contacted them she should have know that. It makes me feel like she never did. Don’t know that that is the case but it feels that way. She now wants to give me spa credit instead of giving me my money back. I don’t really want to do business with this type business owner.

Got a facial, she recommended dermaplaning. It was painful but i trusted the process. Now my face is bright red, raised, inflamed, and painful all over. it has even scabbed over in places. It hurt badly when she applied some product she said had "paprika" in it, but she assured me it was "activating" or some nonsense. Really she was just rubbing capsacin into an open wound! I told the esthetician i was going on a tropical vacation the next day and now i'm here with a raw, scabby face. Pretty bland "signature" facial aside from the skin burn. No massage on head, shoulders, hands, or arms...she just used one of those annoying wire scalp-tickler things they chase you with at the mall kiosks. That's really not what I expect for $130. No education on the products or recommendations for home care at all. Really disappointed for the price.

I LOVE Skin Renew! The staff is so warm and friendly. I always feel ‘at home’ the moment I walk in the door. The environment is beautiful and very tranquil. They offer SO many services and at affordable prices when you compare to other local day spas. Their membership is a great deal too! I can’t say enough good things about Skin Renew and everyone that works there ❤️

I absolutely love this spa! The staff there are extremely welcoming and kind. Just has a wonderful massage by Nicole, she was extremely good at the deep tissue upgrade. Even scheduled my next massage with her. I highly recommend this spa.

I happened upon this place when looking to pamper myself for my birthday. I previously had a few facials at other places before, but they were just frou frou with perfumey low quality products that irritated my skin. I decided I wanted to experience a "real" facial with quality organic skincare. I was pleased to discover Skin Renew right down the street. They got me in and I am hooked! I joined their monthly membership & really look forward to experiencing all they have to offer. I'm learning about my skin, finding products that are effective & am excited to have found this place. The staff are so helpful. I am definitely going to be referring my loved ones... what a wonderful find! 😁

I just want to say if you’re considering laser hair removal, do it! I struggled with course black hair and I am now hair free and no 5 o clock shadow! Casey was thorough and knowledgeable. It was painless and she went above and beyond my expectations! I had a deep tissue massage with Natasha and she killed it! Also had a chance to meet the owner during one of my sessions and she was so sweet and hysterical! Plus, the spa carry’s Eminence skin care, which I fell in love with when I was an esthetician and have been desperately looking for a spa that carries the line while also providing amazing services and is results driven. So glad I found my spot after moving 3 hours from my home and favorite spa. The ladies up front have texted me a few times when earlier appointments become available and are so sweet. What more could you ask for? 5 stars! 🫶🏼

Revising my review; staff has been consistent in the excellent provision of services. Every appointment (facials, massage, waxing) has been amazing, the service providers are friendly and very knowledgeable in their respective fields. I definitely look forward to continuing my membership and trying out their hair removal next - I know I am in good hands with Casey! They also do seem to have some great specials and events, so do sign up for their listserv.

The rooms are nice and tranquil, staff friendly, products smell amazing and they offer a wide variety of products and services. Makayla gave me the best facial I have had in years. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

There's a reason why I drive nearly 90 minutes – roundtrip – to Skin Renew. Well, several reasons, really! The facility is amazing and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I've been a member for more than three years, and I felt welcomed and pampered from my very first visit. That TLC continues today, and I’ve never felt anything less than a VIP. The services are high-caliber and reasonably priced. I’m continually impressed, too, with how the owner closely follows the latest trends in skin care lines and new technology used to treat a variety of skincare issues. The suggested products I use for home care are worth every penny and my skin has never looked better. The time, money, and effort I’ve spent are well worth it. And so am I. Certainly, looking younger and attractive is a goal, but the way I feel is even more important. Thank you, Skin Renew!

I had an AMAZING signature facial experience today at Skin Renew! It wasn't "just a facial"....it was the whole relaxing sensory experience with soft music, low lighting/salt lamp and heavenly aromas from Eminence skincare products (which meet my strict standards for safe ingredients!), PLUS an unexpected hand and foot massage. My face is so smooth, nourished and happy😁. I will definitely return and check out the other services offered as well! ETA: I have since been a member and regular customer. I highly recommend Stephanie's massages and Casey's facials. I always leave refreshed and relaxed! I'm also blown away by Stacey's state of the art pain-free laser services, especially the results for sun spot removal!

I had an amazing experience with Makayla at Skin Renewal. She is the most kindhearted and amazing girl! She tells you exactly what products you should/should not be using and always takes care of my face. She also helps me to remain confident and always trust the process! I have been a member of this spa for almost one year and it’s beginning to feel like a second home to me. The services are really great, as well as the atmosphere. Sierra goes above and beyond to be helpful and answer any admin questions I have. Laura is newer to the team, but has given me one of the best facials I have had in a long time:)! You should definitely consider booking any type of pampering service here:)!

I have looked all over Indy, had several consutlations at other places and never felt truly confortable. I met with Amy for our consultation and she had pictures, explained the whole process, explained how the laser works and what I can expect from begininng to end. I just had my first laser appointment and Amy was quick and very impersonable! Highly reccomend this place espeically if you're a person of color with thick hair!

My husband and I have a membership here, we both go once a month for a massage. We have seen both Stephanie and Natasha and they are both great! We always leave feeling so relaxed. Doing this membership and going once a month has been the best thing that we've done for ourselves. Everyone is always so nice and makes you feel so comfortable. Cannot recommend them enough!
