Really disappointed with my latest visit here. It was my second time here since I purchased the Groupon 2 pack. I mainly do facials for the extractions but my esthetician probably spent less than 5 minutes doing this part and just said my skin was really good and didn't need much attention. I paid for a 50 minute facial but like some other reviewers have said, it was only around 30-35 minutes so I feel a bit scammed.

I've been going to Skin Spa for almost a year if not a year now. Doing hydrafacials and also tried the laser and hair removal. I did all my hydrafacials with Skylar and she was fantastic. She's no longer there but I still think the hydrafacial express is really great. Most places only have long and longer services but I'm a stay at home mom so I don't like to be out too long so an express service is a great option for me and I leave with my skin feeling really rejuvenated! Hair removal was with Rima I believe and she was also great, took special care and was sensitive to my needs!

Been going here for a while. There prices when you buy in bulk are unbeatable and they always do a great job - fast, clean and efficient! However would not recommend getting advice here on what procedures to get done since I have had mixed experience with that here.

Had a mixed experience here; I'm not usually one to leave reviews but I left with a bad taste in my mouth after feeling judged for my skin during a facial. I've had trouble with my skin ever since I was a teenager and went in knowing I was due for a facial. My esthetician was friendly but made comments about how there's no reason my skin should have been as bad as it was and that I shouldn't have let it get to that point. I don't think it was meant to be demeaning but it was unkind. Services like facials and expensive skin products are a luxury and I left feeling judged and criticized. Other than that, the facial itself was good, the place was clean and the receptionists were great.

Fantastic experience! Purchased a Groupon for three microdermabrasion facials and had my first one today. The facilities are beautiful and all the staff could not have been lovelier. Skylar gave me an amazing facial and was so sweet and nice to chat with while I got my service. Can’t wait to go back!

I had 6 sessions for multiple areas but started my legs and hands after about 2 sessions. Called them to make my appointments and confirm how many I had left, when I went to the front desk after my appointment the girl told me I would have to pay out of pocket as I didn’t have any sessions left, although they made the appointments and told me what sessions I had left. The women who did my laser were very nice but I will not be returning there for another 6 sessions. Edit: I’ve seen people commenting about how laser hair removal left them with streaks of hair or bald circles exactly where they put the laser to your skin and hair around it, I had that same experience. You could see all the spots that were missed by the tech and strips of hair left over with bald circle spots everywhere, not a good experience here

Tali is an amazing skin specialist! She’s quick but very thorough .My skin is always so glowy and hydrated after she does my facials. She’s the best!

The facial itself was good. However, my appointment was at 3, I wasn’t called back until 3:15, but it still ended at 3:50 as if it were to have started on time. So I paid for a 50 minute facial, when I really only got a 35 minute one, which was quite disappointing.

Don’t waste your time. They do the bare minimum with laser & will leave you with random streaks of hair because they don’t cover the full body part you’re paying for. They even leave very large surfaces untouched if it’s too close to a different body part, despite it still being a part of the body part you’re getting serviced. Besides still using gel for laser?? What year is Skin Spa in. 2015 is long gone. But I’d take annoyance of the gel if they actually covered the full body part you’re paying to have serviced. Not worth the price, service, & attitudes they also have here. And with all that, they still think people should pay 20% tip for an expensive service that last literal minutes.

First time going to this location and I was NOT disappointed. Did a facial with SKYLAR and she was amazing. She was very detailed and ensure my concerns were addressed. The service she gave made me took a package deal, so I will be going back here on a monthly basis. The receptionist was very nice also and attemptive.

I enjoy going to Skin Spa every time. I always receive excellent service. On my recent visit Olga M. who provided the service went above and beyond by walking me through my facial and how I can maintain at home. I really appreciated her wealth of information and her warm demeanor. I am recurring client and definitly will continue being one.

I had an exceptional experience at Skin Spa, both at their Midtown and Flatiron locations. The welcoming atmosphere, coupled with knowledgeable staff, made my visits truly enjoyable. The team's patience in listening to customer concerns stood out, and sessions with Sylvia in Midtown and Daphne in Flatiron were always a pleasure. From the manager to the entire staff, everyone exudes professionalism and friendliness.

I have been a Skin Spa client since they first opened and my skin is the best example of their experience and talent. At 71 my skin is literally flawless- no lines or wrinkles and so toned that my jawline is my best feature. The aestheticians are perfectionists and the front desk will go to all lengths to accommodate your requests and schedules- I consider the staff my friends and that is high praise. Your beauty may be more than skin deep but if you value your image then make an appointment- I prefer the advanced genesis but the facials are fabulous and there’s no reason to look elsewhere. Remember your beauty is your smile- and your skin!

I love this skin spa! The best in the city! Great service always and great staff. I’ve had a few esthetician’s and all of them have been lovely and professional. I’ve been coming here for two and a half years and it’s amazing every time. Olga and Betzabe are outstanding. They have been part of my skin journey and my skin is looking better every time. I highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a place that cares about your skin and skin needs. Beg who is also the front desk is amazing as well for every time I come in she is welcoming and warm. Thank you skin spa flatiron!

I recently got a Laser Genesis facial and Facial at Skin Spa with Marianna. She always provides excellent service. She has a great personality . Works efficiently and in a skilled manner to ensure my facial treatment is thorough. She doesn’t try to overly upsell products. She moved locations and I definitely will visit her more regularly at the new location going forward.

Love this Spa! Been going for a few months for laser treatments. First off- the office manager, Beg, has been amazing and helping me with everything from booking appointments to soothing my nerves! I have had two lovely people work on me and honestly, everything went soooo smoothly. Also want to note, the front desk receptionist couldn't be sweeter. The spa is sparkling clean. Would give more than 5 stars if possible.

Please don't come here for laser hair removal. I came in May for a half-leg laser hair removal, and I left with permanent burn marks on my ankles and lower legs. When I called them, they said to come in so their aesthetician could look at the burn marks and see what could be done. They gave me some sunscreen and moisturizer and said that it'd go away. 5 months later, and it hasn't. I even consulted with my dermatologist, and she said it likely would be permanent as leg scars don't go away easily. While it's tempting to save money and get a deal at Skin Spa, I regret not spending more and going to a board certified dermatologist. The staff at Skin Spa tried to refund me initially, but the permanent damage to my skin is not worth $100. Their customer service is so, so bad, it's shocking. The back and forth over email and phone calls (and many left voicemails) just is not worth it. Please save your skin and go somewhere else.

Very friendly staff. They are very honest when it comes to assessing the right treatments for you. If you're not a good candidate, or the technology you are looking for is no longer the best available, they will let you know. It left me reassured about the treatments they do recommend (which are often cheaper).

Wanted to love it, but it wasn't the experience I was hoping for. I wish I had been explained the process throughout the facial, what skincare was being applied, etc. I felt a bit judged through my consultation when I asked for some care to be taken with my face since I have shoots coming up. A friend recommended another location, which I may try instead next time.
