Couldn’t recommend Skin Zen Spa enough! I got a massage and facial and literally left feeling like I was floating. It was so clean, relaxing, and everyone was extremely friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

One of the best spa experiences I’ve had. They are professional, friendly, and they really tailor your service to meet your needs. Claire did an amazing job on my facial. Plus they carry my 2 of my favorite skin care lines Eminence and SkinCeuticles! They have their own skin care line too which has some great products as well! 10/10 would recommend

I am so grateful that I have finally found a fantastic place to get a massage every month!!! Holly, the receptionist, is so friendly and always has a smile on her face when I walk in!!! Jamie, my massage therapist is unbelievable!!! He sure knows his business!!! It's so hard to find someone that I want to stick with. To management....keep these two employees...this is why I keep coming back😊🥰...thanks y'all

This is by far the best facial in Austin. They have chairs that turn so you aren’t laying on a flat table and then incorporate so much massage I’ve never experienced something like this it’s LUXURRY

I’ve been a member for 12 years, and Skin Zen has been a physical and mental haven for me each month!!! The massage therapists have been consistently amazing!!!! (They’ve kept my migraines at bay for all this time, and recently helped me heal through a back issue and sprained ankle.) The spa is always warm, friendly, clean, and relaxing. The front staff has always been exceptionally kind and friendly, and remember me each month. And of course, the membership prices are very reasonable for the quality of service. I’m moving away soon and am so sad to be saying goodbye to my monthly massage and the incredible people at Skin Zen. I highly recommend this spa for any wellness service. 💛💛💛

My Wife and I went to get a facial and Skin Zen Spa was the choice. Inside, it really gives a Zen like feel. Quiet, clean, good smelling, and pleasant employees. Our facials were nothing short of amazing! We will be back!

I am surprised to see they are voted the best facial in Austin. Their facial is more a face massage vs an actual facial. The quality of the estheticians is not consistent and you may not be assigned to your favorite esthetician for each appointment. However, the staff is nice and the facility is clean.

I want to give them 5 stars because Karen and others there are great but their membership is the worst. I signed up not realizing that if I missed a month my credits would just build up and if I cancel I lose them. I now have 8 months paid and can't add on services when I go, so I'm stuck. So go there for a great facial and calming experience, but don't sign up for the membership.

I've been a long time member of Skin Zen Spa. It's the one thing I treat myself to each month - a facial. The change in my skin has been amazing. They have a great selection of products from Eminence and Skinceuticals along with their own line of products. I like several of their facial cleansers along with the microdermabrasion powder. I am a Premier member so I switch between Eminence and Skinceuticals products every month. I occasionally will do an add-on service of a stronger mask. The extra shoulder and hand/arm massage during the facial is wonderful. Also, don't forget the scalp massage! I leave with wild hair but I'm so relaxed I don't care! My only complaint is that two of my favorite aestheticians left after working there for many years due to career changes and moves. Luckily I've found a new employee that I really like. Thank you Stacy! The do offer walk-in facials or you can join an pay a monthly set fee for a facial. If you have the ability to do the monthly facial I really recommend it. If you don't, it's still a great place to treat yourself. I've never encountered any hard sales tactics to get you to join. Occasionally they have special events for members like discounted peels, holiday parties, etc.

Found this place on Yelp with great reviews! Decided to make myself a priority and try this place out. My chemical peel was fast, but. comfortable, and the esthetician helped me understand my skin needs better. I decided to become a member and was not forced into it, but was provided all the information without trying to upsell. Very excited to become a part of the Skin Zen family! I decided to become a member after all to ensure lower prices and consistent services! I have been coming to Skin Zen for about 3 years now, and still love it. Although staff shortages created limited availability for services, the staff made sure I got in as soon as I could! The masseuses are each amazing with different strengths which makes me leave feeling like jelly and so relaxed each time. The facials are so amazing and my skin has never looked better! This new location is gorgeous and they have upgraded their gowns and added robes! I used to be a person who could skip a facial and be happy. Now I look forward to both the facial and the massage every month! Years in, and I fall more in love with going each month! The staff is so friendly and they each have their own ways of interacting with me, it's always enjoyable! Vanessa is so kind and thoughtful in her choices in products and their Holiday Parties keep getting better! Support a local business and stop in to take care of your skin, muscles, and mental health!

I love this spa. I've been receiving services for 3 years now. I have visited some more "high brow" spas at the Domain, BC Lakeside & Westlake. Their facial services are better, in my opinion. At the very least their service is better before, during and at the end. I cannot speak to the products per sey but I find the experience superior at a more reasonable price point. As far as products go though, I have and will continue to purchase products from Skin Zen. Both their house brand, skin zen and their higher end, Emminence, have impressed me and provided results that exceeded my expectations. I encourage anyone searching for a spa to try them at least once. I do not think you'll be disappointed.

I've been going for over a decade. After one year of facials and using their products, my forehead lines were finer and my crows feet had disappeared. My overall skin tone was balanced, no more red areas! I have not worn foundation or powder for years now. Extremely happy with results and the excellent service and plan to stay a loyal customer!

If you’re wondering why there aren’t many recent reviews it’s likely because this “spa” is running good clients far, far away. I paid for a 3 month membership which I requested to cancel in July (I paid for all three months) and yet I’m still being charged. I don’t live near this part of Austin anymore which one of the reasons I requested to cancel. This business requires you to sign a paper form requesting to cancel (which no one told me about until today when I asked why I was still being charged) In addition to filling out a form, you are forced to pay them an additional month because they expect a month notice from customers which I find very odd. If you have to keep your clients in a chokehold for the sake of retention, that says a lot about your business. On another note, Ashley is super helpful and understanding and I hope she ends up a better establishment.

UPDATE: As of February 14, they are STILL trying to charge my debit card. I cancelled the membership in writing with the form requested at the end of December. Here we are, 6 weeks later and it's still happening. WARNING: DO. NOT. GET. A. MEMBERSHIP. HERE. Unfortunately this is one of those places where you sign up for a membership and then after canceling in writing they go ahead and continue to charge your card for services NOT rendered. In fact, they didn’t even let me use my last service for January— they said I had to use it by Jan 31 and since Jan 20 I have been trying to schedule and they never called or emailed me back in 11 days so I lost out and now I am getting charged of $89 for a membership in Feb that I already cancelled??!! Definitely reporting them to my bank and BBB because they cannot be trusted — they will continue to charge you. I had to cancel my entire card and they are still charging it against me; they will not honor a cancellation in writing or over the phone apparently. I even filled out and returned their so-called "Membership Cancellation" form. Furthermore, Holly and the owner, Vanessa were incredibly rude to me when I tried to contact them and they just tell me "we did email you" as I'm staring at the email thread with no response. Vanessa mentioned: "We didn't charge you because your card declined" -- Um, no ma'am I cancelled that card, thank you, no reason for you to put it that way. But that just goes to show, they didn't cancel because I advised them in writing, no, it must have been some fault of my own. As if I would ever be back or recommend anyone else to, the lack of professionalism here is shocking.

Would leave zero star if possible. Avoid this place at your own risk. Very unprofessional staff. Called and confirmed my appt the day before then 30 min before my scheduled time they called and cancelled my appt due to the girl being sick with a hangover. They argued with me that it was my fault that they called my appt that I drove in early from 2 hrs away.
