I received facial botox for the 4th time from Alyssa yesterday. She has always done a great job. She has a great skill set that builds on knowledge from working with the plastic surgery department at UNM. I have known her since I was a surgical resident and I'm happy to see SkinSpa doing well. I will be sending all of my friends and family there to get the best care in her field.

Skin Spa is hands down the best aesthetic med spa in town. You will not find anyone with more experience than Alyssa. She spent 7 years working in plastic surgery at the UNM main hospital treating patients with maxillofacial trauma, training residents in botox and filler injections, and assisting with plastic surgery procedures. She is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. Would not trust anyone else with skincare and aesthetic needs. She and Jack are extremely kind and welcoming, and you will have a great experience.

I decided to try out SkinSpa when visiting Abq and couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. They were professional, incredibly friendly, and fun, which made the whole process enjoyable. Alyssa did my initial Botox treatment. There was some slight movement in my right eyebrow, which has always been a problem area for me, but Alyssa did a touch-up a week later before I left, and it was perfect. The rest of the staff was also very attentive and made a lasting impression. Four months later, I was back in town and scheduled another session. While everything was great the last time, we tried a couple of tweaks and included treatment for my crow's feet. This was THE best combination and amount of Botox for me. My skin texture has become smoother and less oily, and I've experienced fewer breakouts since starting Botox. Overall, I highly recommend SkinSpa! I live in NYC and used to go to this place in SoHo, but honestly, I’ll just be making this a routine stop when I visit NM from now on.

I purchased a series of skin treatments for my mother to lighten some age/sun spots on her face. Not only does my mom’s skin look so much better, but she feels better! This is a well establishing business - excellent location /easy to find (heights people don’t travel to busy Rio Rancho) , safe location , clean facility layout , glass plates with white spectrum lighting , professional atmosphere, positive attitudes- well done. The staff makes each client feel valued and welcome from the time they enter the spa to the moment they exit the door. I called and while on the phone the staff came out to greet me in the parking lot! Scent free zone - superior for asthmatics (no solvents/nail products/ hair spray/ cologne that induce asthma attacks and allergic reactions). Liked the white /clean attire vs black shirts or street clothes ~ represents a high end clinic type atmosphere, with a sterile environment. It is apparent that cleanliness of the facility is a high priority. Website is well displayed (colors / gold expresses richness) - again as high end clinic vs the typical hole in the wall. Easy to navigate. Makes clients feel like they are getting their money worth of high quality products led by a team of professionals - something other spas don’t have. Atmosphere is similar to settings in Houston or NY, not the typical NM setting. Reminded me of spa treatment center in Harrah’s Las Vegas (back in the day). Almost made me look for a glass dispenser of water or brewed light green tea with ice/citrus - to hydrate and relax. The cold bottle of water offered was a pleasant perk and refreshing prior to the procedure. Bathroom was upscale - clean without a single water spot on the sink. Fixtures were modern with soft lighting over the mirror. Definitely not something I expected - more like an elegant spa type bathroom that welcomes clients to look at themselves and view their beauty in the mirror. While there take a moment - look at your results in the mirror prior and after. You will be amazed at the immediate results. Anyone can inject Botox or fillers but Alyssa is a perfectionist with symmetry when injecting filler and listens to the clients expectations which is appreciated - word will get out with her quality of work. How small adjustments of injections and/or Botox will make huge difference to one’s appearance and self esteem. I left the facility with my head high and proud - feeling that it was money well spent. Looking forward to Botox touch ups - I can drop in while out shopping. A quick in and out the door. Appointments are conveniently available - staff personally communicate with the clients before each procedure and upon completion - to ensure expectations have been met. Alyssa goes the extra mile by taking time to personally follow up with each client approximately one week after the procedure. She actually cares about her clients and their end results. I suggest giving the spa a call - tour the facility and discuss what services are provided. Staff will assist with what products are available - which ones are applicable to address your specific areas of concern. You will be surprised at how reasonably priced the services are. Enjoy the peaceful journey to this elegant spa ! It is well worth the trip and conveniently located in the heights area of town. You won’t be disappointed.

If you are looking for a spa with an array of treatment options and very experienced staff, this is the place. I have tried a few places here around Albuquerque. I’m very uncomfortable with all the opening of med spas combined with weekend warrior classes to do botox and fillers, so I pick my injectors wisely. These ladies have tremendous years of experience in aesthetics and plastic surgery. I had Morpheus 8, filler and botox here and extremely happy with all my results. My treatments are done with such care and precision. My appointments never feel rushed or like I’m another person in line. I’m glad I finally found a place that doesn’t have that corporate feeling and can count on to deliver results I need plus a few laughs. Truly the best staff!

I would give skin spa New Mexico 100 stars if it was a rating. The office was very clean and friendly. All the staff are welcoming and very knowledgeable in their fields. Alyssa is the best injector in town. She doesn’t let you leave the chair until she’s done what you want to perfection. She has perfected her skills, has an eye for what she does and her background speaks for itself. I won’t go to any other spa in New Mexico again after my experience here.
