I was a regular at this salon for 4 years. When the original owner sold everything changed. I continued to visit this salon for a year. The new owner Bella does beautiful nails and the salon is clean but, doesn’t seem to know how to manage staff. Each time I visit even with an appointment I still wait 30 minutes because there are never more than 1 or 2 techs working. My appointments are nearly always interrupted for walk ins sometimes leaving me in limbo for another 30 minutes. Today was the last straw I booked an appointment for a nail fix and lash removal. The website doesn’t list a charge for removal and there is a fee. In addition my lashes were falling out after 2 days when I went back to fix them they argued with me about how long I had had them. It’s not worth the drama. Between the lack of care for appointments, consistent interruption and lack of transparency on pricing this salon has made my self care routine feel like a chore and an imposition. I’m sad to leave this place and for years it was amazing. Unfortunately it has changed for the worse.

I’m not sure why they have only 3.7. This should be 5 stars. This was my first time here. I must say that this has been the Best Experience since I have been in NC. I have been to several Nail Salons. This place was by far the BEST. VAN is who did my nails She was very Professional the Quality of her Work is far beyond Amazing. My nails are the shape and short just how I like them. My pedicure was the best that I have had since I have been here. Will I be back OF COURSE this is going to be MY PLACE

Ever since Jenny & her crew left this nail salon has gone down. They lie to you about the wait time. The one person who I still went to (Angel) has been out. I was told she would be back today & when I got there I was told she would be back Tuesday. I wouldn't be surprised if she quit. Today was my last day spending money at this establishment. Update: I'm not here to argue with you. I just gave a review based on my most recent experience at your establishment. That's the least you could've done being as though my 15 minute wait (your words) turned into almost an hour. That appointment you mentioned you forgot about until she showed up. Had you mentioned that before I sat down to get my nails done I would've made an appointment to come back the next day to be able to get both the services I was there for.

Angel took great care of my nails and paid special attention the then length and retention of the length. She was detailed and efficient. My service was completed within an hour.

This was my first time getting acrylic nails and they did a great job! The customer service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. If you’re wanting reasonable prices and a relaxing time, I highly recommend!

This review is strictly for the nail tech that just started in January. I specifically told her I wanted just an acrylic fill, cut down, and two designs. She spoke about gel and I told her twice I was not interested at this time. The original color I chose I told her did not match the shade on the sample nail. After showing her side by side she continued to say it was the same color until I showed the comparison under the lamp. No big deal, we found a better color. When she pulled the lamp out I asked what is this for the sticker she recommended on my nail and she said yes. Other techs in the shop never used a lamp so I went with it. I asked for a second drink she said okay and I didn’t get it. When I said I wanted to pay to avoid cuticle oil on my phone, we went to pay and she told me gel fill $45, cut down $5, and $5 for easy designs, $5 for a tip yet my pending is $64 and some change. At this point, I felt rushed and treated like we did what was convenient for her time; not the usual vibe of Sky. My me time was completely rushed and now when I decide to go here I will not see anyone but Angel who is fabulous, she has wonderful social skills, asks if you want another drink, if you are comfortable, gets to know your name and tells you hers before you are accommodated. I really want to see development of the new nail tech that started in January because the shop is so zen and again Angel is amazing.

Today is my 3rd visit and I will continue to come back. I got Vital gel nails and a pedicure. My nails lasted, no chips or peeling. My pedicure was phenomenal. Prices are fair and they offer drinks. Their customer service is awesome even when there is a wait. I've had service from Bella, Van, and Mula.

I enjoyed my visit to Sky Nail Bar & Day Spa! The service was top-notch, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The salon had a relaxing atmosphere, and the nail technicians did a fantastic job. I left feeling pampered and with beautiful nails. I highly recommend Sky Bar Nail & Day Spa for a wonderful nail experience!

Overcharges for simple nails. Fill, french tip and rhinestones for 3 fingers on each hand cost over $120. Also have to pay an extra 2% to use your credit card. Asked for rhinestones and did not tell me it would be an extra $60 ($10 per finger) until I got to the register! If you like to be RIPPED-OFF, this is the perfect place for you!

Had Acrylic nails put on in Sept…had fill in 2 weeks later… soaked them off …and look at the indentation on my nails….she grind them so much to do fill in …will never ever step foot in there again..my nails still hav3nt grown out !

Nail tech was very rude my nails was still wet I told her Several times And she just regarded me. I also wanted somebody else to fix it, but they wanted me to wait. Almost an hour just for a Polish change. And Charge me full price. I recommend nobody comes to this place. I shouldn't knew better when it was empty. I wish I can give 0 stars.

Professional nail care, Jenny is an excellent hostess and owner of one of the best nail bar salon on the Eastside. I been going there over 10 years and the services get better and better. I highly recommend anyone who wants healthy nailcare services along with nail art beautification to come get your nails care groove on. The Nail products applied to your nails are natural and organic products. They offer so much incentives, discounts and nail spa package for a whole year. I give it a 5 +++ stars. You can thank me later

Unfortunately, I probably will not return to this nail salon. The manager is amazing! I was recommended by a friend to be serviced by Jenny, but unfortunately, she couldn’t see me, and I felt like an afterthought. It’s disappointing that I drove over 45 minutes to get to this location and specifically booked for her service. If I knew I was going to get just anybody, I would have definitely stopped at one of the 25 nail salons I passed on the way there. The manager really tried to make up for the situation, and I appreciate her so much for that! The work that the nail tech did was very good in the end, but unfortunately, the manager had to come over, and we had to change the color of my nails a few times because he didn’t understand what I was saying. I appreciate the service and, of course, remained kind, but I probably will not return.
