I've been seeing Nallely for the past 10 years, and I can't recommend her enough! From haircuts to highlights and color treatments, she has worked wonders with my thin and short hair. Not only does she have an amazing eye for what works for my hair type, but she also tailors every session to suit my needs and the latest trends. She’s a true expert, always up-to-date with the latest techniques and styles, which is so important for maintaining the health and look of my hair. I trust her completely, whether it's for a quick trim, a bold new color, or even delicate highlights. She always gets the right balance—never too much, but just enough to bring out the best in my hair. Her professionalism shines through every time—she listens to my preferences, makes thoughtful recommendations, and delivers results that make me feel confident and polished. Over the years, she’s become my go-to stylist, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!

A friend of mine recommended me to Alan back in 2021, and he did not disappoint! Since then I’ve gotten haircuts and color by him. He’s truly amazing super sweet and friendly always makes sure to take his time and understands exactly what I want. Cut, wash and a little chat are always my favorite. Thank you so much Alan :)

Amanda is amazing - I’ve been seeing her for 10 years and just love how wonderful she is! I actually loved from. Rooming, and now commute every 3 months in to make sure that I can see here. Highly recommend!

I’ve tried so many barber shops in Park Slope, but I was never completely satisfied, until now! I have long hair and wanted a place where I didn’t have to over-explain what kind of haircut I wanted. A friend recommended Slope Suds, and I’m so glad they did. Alan took care of me and did an absolutely amazing job. He took the time to explain everything, and his professional advice made me feel confident about a haircut that reflects my personality while still being professional for work. I was so happy with the experience that I booked my next appointment as soon as I was done. Highly recommend!

I have gone to Nallely for years- she is so sweet and talented- I have never once left disappointed! She is reliable and flexible, and always knows exactly how to get my haircut back to where it makes me happy again, and her skill with color makes root coverage and highlights so natural-looking it’s amazing! Receptionists are always responsive and friendly, on the phone and in person. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I’ve been a loyal client of Mila’s for over 15 years, and she is truly one of a kind! I have a lot of hair, which used to overwhelm other stylists and made me dread getting my hair done. But from day one, Mila embraced it and made me love it too. I always look forward to seeing her! She prioritizes my hair’s health and knows exactly how to cut it in a way that makes it thrive. My hair grows beautifully into her cuts. Now, my two sons—who love their longer hairstyles—also go to Mila because she’s the only one who truly listens to their visions and makes them a reality. She’s patient, skilled, and incredibly passionate about her craft. I can’t recommend her enough!

Living in South Slope I was bummed when the shop relocated but I have been so well taken care of by Amanda and the team at Slope Suds, I can’t imagine leaving! The quality of products alone makes the salon a gem! But back to Amanda! She is such an artist when she approaches a client. She listens so well and works with you to make sure you’re 100% happy! Her color and cut technique is so impressive and she’s a great room reader. If you’re truly happy, or questioning your decision. If you’re feeling chatty or prefer to melt into your phone, she’s got your vibe in no time flat!

Nallely did an amazing job with my gloss and haircut! I came in wirh drab and greasy hair with gray showing at my roots. She came up with the perfecy brown and golden combination that covered my roots and gave me a warmer complexion. Haircut was out of this world... most importantly she listened to what I wanted and gave me that exactly but better. Thank you!!

So a lot of negative reviews on Alan. who apparently is the owner. i am gonna support these reviews. I have been going to Slope Suds since 2021 for a men’s haircut. I have always gone to Nikki and she has been amazing. but due to recent scheduling i have been going to Maria and she has always been amazing. Both Nikki and Maria usually spend 30 to 45 minute on my hair to get feedback and modify to make sure it’s to my liking. I went in yesterday and Alan stepped in to cut for Maria and I agreed. He asked me how i like it so i told him and asked me how my day was going. good start so far. then he began to cut and was proceeding at a vigorously fast pace. i didn’t mind. five minutes later he had my hair washed. and then another five minutes later after a few snips here and there and adding some product to style it he sent asked if it looked good. i looked it was ok. so i did my usual thanked him. tipped and was on my way. the cut was 15 minutes long. when i got home and took a shower did i notice all the imperfections. when the product came off. hair over ears and back not tapered long ends here and there. and other areas not looking even. how can you do this. send me off on my way after 15 minutes for a 90 dollar haircut. i don’t get it especially if you are the owner. look at the history, i have been going to your place for a very long time at least pay me the respect of spending more than 15 minutes on my hair to truly focus on it. i could go to a barber shop and get that type of haircut for way less.

The fade was very well done and the color lasts a long time. However, they did not follow instructions and explained after they had already started coloring my hair that they were going to do something other than what I asked for reasons that were not relevant to me.

Went in to get 1/2 head highlighted in May 2023 and a had consultation beforehand. The owner Alan did the highlights, gave me something completely different. Three days later washed my hair and the water was dark blue, took about 5 minutes to get the water clear. Once dry my highlights were blue and some blueish greenish. THE OWNER SAID TO COME IN TO FIX IT and asked for a "shout out" on Google reviews Here it is.... Went back Alan tried to fix the color. Didn't tell me what he was doing and then I smelled bleach/ammonia as he is washed my hair. The color was still wrong. I had 3- 5 different shades from light browns to reds, to oranges. my curly was hair now was fried, stripe of the moisture knotted and breaking. This salon previously did the color that existed in my hair 9months prior. After Alan's 2nd attempted to color my hair he failed and damage my hair in the process, told me to come in for a treatment. I refused to trust him for a 3rd time to handle my hair. When I asked for a refund a since I spend over $200 more on products and treatments to repair his damage, he never responded to my ask. Very unprofessional. This man should be ashamed to call himself a color correction specialist and a hair stylist. SAVE YOUR HAIR and pay extra, go to a real expert to get your color done.

Tina has done an amazing job at cutting and color correcting my hair! I came in with partial home-done highlights, she corrected it completely and fulfilled my request for evenly spaced streaks of red. I love it!

I had an appointment for a haircut with Alan. I said that I haven’t felt good about my hair in a few years due to how my hair changed with pregnancy and that I was open to anything, I just wanted to feel confident. I think the nicest thing he said to me the whole time was “at least your hair’s tame-able.” He kept pointing out how my hair wasn’t curly anymore — “look, I even used a ton of extra product and it’s hardly curling at all” — but when I said ok, should I style it straight then he said no it will be too frizzy. Left just feeling like my hair was all wrong and a hopeless case. Certainly not the confidence-boost I was hoping for.

The salon has Italian high quality products and the hair stylist - Alan Davidoff - is very talented and professional. He’s also a very nice person, I had the best time chatting with him during the whole process. He’s a blonde specialist and I’m glad I found him. He understood how I wanted my hair done and also got the right color. I highly recommend!!!

Nicki is incredible! I don’t trust my hair to anyone and I was very anxious when I came in. They immediately offered me water/tea/coffee, which was very nice. I didn’t have to wait at all. Nicki was so nice, attentive, you could tell she has years of experience in coloring. She listened to what I wanted to do, suggested a couple of things, asked a few more questions and as a result, I got the most natural sun-kissed highlights on my hair! I am so glad I found this salon by recommendation and definitely will be coming back!
