I’ve never been one to go to the same person for a haircut because I tend to do different styles each time. But I was extremely impressed with the service I received for the price package I requested. I’ve gone to Supercuts in Salisbury 3-4 times in all five years I’ve lived here and was disappointed to find out that they quickly became understaffed, with an online system that is dysfunctional. When attempting to try other salons, I found that most were either all booked or stretched my budget more than I would like. When I decided to try SmartStyle, I noticed that Chakika treated me and the customer before me with extreme dedication and care. She made sure the angles of the inverted bob I wanted were cut to perfection. Additionally, she also made sure to ask if I was happy with the cut and length, and she even went the extra mile to lightly straighten some pieces that were out of place. I will 100% make sure to come back!!

This hair salon was good I liked it it was good and not pricy and I got my hair in a silk press and it turned out cute the lady who was doing my hair was really nice and really sweet :)

I live about 40 minutes away from SmartStyle but I have been known to drive the 40 minutes to get my eyebrows waxed there. They, hands down, are one of the best that I've been too! They take extra time and care to ensure that it hurts the least bit possible. Anytime I'm in the area I make sure I stop by and have my eyebrows done. I have not encountered a staff member that hasn't been unbelievably nice and personable.

lady cut my hair shorter than I wanted and didn't cut my hair strait it was crooked and I won't ever go back there be careful going there!! DON'T!!

I started going here a couple years ago and received a great hair cut from the stylist Chakika. She spent time listening to what I wanted, kept referring to the photo I brought and gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had. Since then, I have cut my hair short. The first time was awesome. A cute pixie cut with the sides and back doing a little flip or curl as I have naturally wavy hair. A few months back I went in for a trim. Because I already had the cut I didn't bring a pic. Chakika cut it so short and trimmed up the sides so much, I couldn't scrunch and go like I had been doing. I let it grow out a bit so I could get the cute pixie cut I had before. This time I brought her the pic again, told her I didn't like the way it was cut the last time and explained why I didn't like it. She said no problem that it needed to be cut shorter, I said that I didn't think so because she is cutting out the wave like in the pic. She said that she just going to cut a little shorter so it'll last a few more weeks. She proceeded to cut my hair into a butch man's style, so short I looked like a boy. She never referred to the pic and when I told her that she didn't give me what I asked for she argued with me and said that is the same style only a little shorter. Yes, one inch of hair that I can't scrunch or do ANYTHING with. She said I needed to style it upside down. Well no amount of styling can put the hair back on my head so it flips and waves... No product can do that. They don't care, they are ignorant and rude and all about getting you in and out of there so they can rip the next person off too.
