Won't be going back, the hair stylist was passive aggressive and pulled my hair a few times with the hair clippers. My high fade is uneven (one side higher than the other) I was going to ask her to fix it but I didn't want to get tortured anymore...

I went in to have hair trimmed 1 1/2 and rounded out. My hair looks like Martha cut it off with a knife completely uneven. I called about an hour later and spoke to Martha and she act like she didn't even know who I was and there was no one else in that shop when I was there. I am so angry I paid $33 for Martha to do a hack job

I went in to change up my hair style that I have had for years. I went from pretty long hair to a pixie cut. My hair stylist helped me to decide which of the three styles that I was considering would the best and the easiest to care for. I absolutely love how my hair turned out. My stylist did a wonderful job cutting and blending my hair. She styled and blow dried my hair to make sure my hair layed nicely before she let me go. It's been a couple days now and I find no fault with my haircut. I will definitely be going back. The only negative thing is the price they are charging is pretty high. It's been about a year since my last hair cut and the price is almost doubled.

On Monday Dec 16 at around 9:15am I went to SmartStyle to get a hair cut and some face framing, the only stylist there was an older Mexican lady who goes by “Pati” she had just finished opening the gate when I got there at 9:15. I was not offered a hair wash as I usually am when I go, Pati and I go over where I want my hair to be cut 3 times before she even cut it. It was suppose to fall right in the middle of my shoulder, 2 inches past my shoulder, short but not too short. Pati then proceed to just grab my hair all together and cut it, in my opinion I believe when she did that she messed up and cut it too short, after cutting she gets her spray bottles and spray bottles my hair wet then goes in to even it out I assumed but she chopped another 2 1/2 inches off my hair and now my hair is slightly above my shoulder. After trying to fix her mistake she says she’s done, I verbalize that it’s wayyy too short, I tell her I don’t like it and she said “oh it’s okay mija I’m sorry I just .. it’s okay it looks beautiful”, she took no accountability for her mistake. She didn’t even bother to dry my hair or make sure it was even, I went home crying because I hated my hair that morning. Not only did she chop my hair shorter than I wanted she left my hair all uneven, I had long strands of hair in the front, the back of my hair looked like my 2 year old niece cut my hair. I’ve never had such a worse experience with a hairdresser than I did with Pati. Unfortunately I had to go back the next day, show Pati her hack job of a hair cut then she had the audacity to lie to me and tell me I told her that’s where I wanted my hair then try to “fix” my hair some more. Thankfully the sweetest manager at least evened my hair out correctly & was able to refund me. In my opinion Pati is making this company lose money & valued customers, she is no longer an asset to your company but a liability.

Our stylist took an hour for a cut and thinning job. She said several times that the haircut we chose was too drastic and I had to keep telling her that's what my daughter wanted. The cut was interrupted 5 times for other customers, other stylists didn't step in to help. In the end it was unevenly layered and there's a chunk missing on one side. I am not happy with the customer service or the cut. We will not likely be back.

You need to remind the ladies that everyone that comes in to the Valencia an Midvale Salon isn't Spanish Speaking. I CLEARLY did not speak thier language. I speak English , they new this and continued to speak Spanish.
